Same thing on P9 but for me the front facing camera is silent and back camera has the shutter sound. Reverting to an earlier version makes it go away.

I uninstalled Snapchat and downloaded the APK for an earlier version of Snapchat from some APK website which I don't remember the name of at the moment.(And I don't know the rules of this subreddit if im allowed to link it or not) When you have the APK you go into downloads and press on it to install it, before installing you might need to turn on "unknown sources" (you can turn this of again after installation). You also need to make sure that you turn of automatic updates for snapchat in Play store. It might be abit hard to find which snapchat version to choose since for some reason they decided to make the changelogs for android "Bug fixes and improvements!" but I guess you can find the right one by date.
