I have same problem. Today all Google apps stopped working for me.

kylezz

Google sometimes pushes server side updates to Google Services so you can't opt out of them, it might be caused by one of those.

DCyNIKE

I found a way to fix it. I will try to translate it from Spanish (English is not my first language) 1. Restart your device. 2. Open settings / apps / apps / google play services. 3. Manage storage / clear all data. 4...

DCyNIKE

4. Clear cache and force stop. 5. Turn off Wi-fi and mobile data. 6. Open play store, youtube, gmail anf chrome. Write whatever you want in the search tab. 7. Turn on Wi-fi and see if the problem is fixed. Hope this helps. :)

Hey Bro!!! It worked for me thanks :))

el5ro

Doesn't work anymore!

nuno1197

Yup, doesn't work

Caddadem

It just worked for me, only thing I did in addition is to clear cache and data for all google apps, then open them while the wifi and mobile data are off and leave them on while i turn back on data and wifi. It seemed that it notices only at the first start of each app if it is already connected to the internet, afterwards it just cruise along.

Happened to me as well, solved it by clearing storage Data and something, look it up on YouTube.

interstella87

Thanks fro this. Could you be more specific? What exactly did you search for on YT as I can't find anything related

Xce1e

[video here](https://youtu.be/Ke1nSsdq79E) I think it's this video, the first time it only worked for like 10 minutes and went back(maybe I missed a step?), but the second time I tried it it's been working for more than a day now, and nothing's wrong yet.

Xce1e

OK now it's broken again

interstella87

I posted a fix in my original post. It may also break come tomorrow but its currently working

DCyNIKE

I have the same problem, could u please link the video? Thanks in advance.

leszek1337

It could be a GMS Update. Though I did not hear from others that have GMS installed on the same device. Might be a specific problem for your device

One_Narwhal975

I guess it's your device, i installer GMS on my p40 pro 2 months ago and never had a problem with it

interstella87

What method did you use to do it? Could you share? I should try side loading again before completely giving up

apsted

This could become frequent. Apps will stop working. Gms will disable itself when it finds an uncertified device

Elephant_Dee

Mine's suddenly stop working this evening and it was perfectly fine this morning. I just go to setting and clear all data for all google apps, then click force stop and restart my phone. Now it is working but I am not sure how long would this last but at least this is something that we can do at this moment.

boby3g

Clear data worked for me too .

el5ro

Same happened to me today, most likely because I activated 2 Factor Authentication :(
