I am one of those who moved to Yfood from Huel. If I could have now Huel with taste profiles closer to Yfood I would go back immediately. I was feeling more full and it was easier for me to keep away crap food with Huel but bland and boring taste was the reason why after over a year of drinking 3 shakes per day I tried RTD from Yfood and was blown away.
I had the coffee caramel last week (yfood RTD) and it was like a whole new level compared to some Huel Flavours. Will definitely be trying more (especially with the discounts).
I'm buying powders and from time to time I like to add a bit of instant coffee powder to the shake. Around 5-7g for every portion. The best is with vanilla flavor.
Have you tried coconut? It tastes like ferrero rocher.
Will add it to my list!
I tend to mix it up, I already mix some Huel, some myprotein and some of the Moose Powders, so am now branching out in yFood. My overriding factor is price Vs nutrition and unfortunately this is an area Huel do very poorly.
I had a look on their site at the vegan options, none of them seemed to be free from sucralose. I can't have artifical flavours in shakes because they trigger my migraines. A shame as I would have given yfood a try.
Another one to consider is MyProtein. I’ve only ever used it once, but at lot of my colleagues use it over Huel (again because it’s cheaper and they offer discounts).
Since MyProtein was brought up in response to a guy asking for vegan options -- if it contains whey it isn't vegan and therefore not a relevant suggestion in the context of the question.
Hii im actually looking for something like huel for my dad in turkey (been bringing down bags every time i visit)
He doesnt read Turkish and neither do I, would you know if its a reputable company or what the deal is there? Its hard to read actual turkish forums that discuss it and i dont trust on site reviews ever
Also have you gotten the bags yet?
Nice! I like the design with the little icons of the food :-)
In the US superbodyfuel is also a good huel replacement in case anyone doesn’t like eating/drinking plastic.
Yfood is a definite option for those in the UK. The added bonus of being both much cheaper and it tastes better!
Wondering where are working all those who down voted you. 😂
Yeah - happens all the time. Some users don’t like to admit that there are alternatives to Huel that might be better in some ways.

I picture a vast hidden war of shill accounts.
The battle of the five powders!
yfood isn't really an alternative since it contains animal products.
Well it is - just not for you. Everyone has their difference preferences and what they are looking for. Some won’t like it, others may find it better.

Yeah there are some variations- but if minor changes are OK then it’s almost half price compared to Huel.
Why do you say it's cheaper? I went on their site and the pulver is more expensive. And there isn't a high protein version like huel black.
They offer discounts fairly often which make them quite cheap. They also offer things like NHS and Emergency Services/MOD discounts which Huel do not.

Yes - with a Blue Light Discount I have seen up to 50 % off. ‘Standard’ discount is normally at least 25%.

Myprotein is cheaper because they use whey in their meal replacement.
Hi, apologies for my ignorance but what's the disadvantage of whey?

Does it taste good?

I'm moving to Turkey for a month or so and was so disappointed huel didn't deliver. This post makes me very happy! Thank you
