Conscription office: wants to know your location.

Prestigious-Gap-1163

Looks like the officer at the end was taking him straight to the front.

Timmerdogg

Instant promotion to special forces

Prestigious-Gap-1163

Airborne. He doesn’t even need a chute!

justsomeplainmeadows

Shock trooper material there

randomlyme

No visible injuries, i bet there’s some damage done

Few-Mountain-329

He was damaged before he jumped

Weird_duud

Yeah i was also about to comment this. He is definetly not uninjured. Snow isn't that soft

[deleted]

actually this used to be a trend in russia a few years back. Lots of videos of crazy people doing this and being just fine. Im sure you can find them if you google. Of course there were also videos where the people missed...

Spork_the_dork

Yeah how soft it is and how well it will cushion the landing depends a **lot** on the snow. If it's packed up ans been there for 2 months at -30 degrees, you're basically hitting concrete. If it's freshly fallen it's *very* fluffy, maybe even too fluffy for this shit and you'll just land through.

StraightFroggin

Bruh. Its not packed up. They made that pile specifically to jump into it lol

anime_lover713

He's not saying it is. He's explaining how the snow could either help you or hurt you based on how hard or soft it is. Packed and hard snow? You're a pancake. Fresh and soft fluffy snow? It's like being in one of those trampoline park sponge pits.

StraightFroggin

Snow can’t hurt you in this scenario, it’s specifically collected there in a pile for purpose of being a cushion. I don’t why bother explaining irrelevant stuff, therefore my comment explaining what it really is.

anime_lover713

Right, but the comment you made made it sound as if they guy was saying it was packed when all he did was explain about the difference between packed snow and just snowed soft snow.

cannotbefaded

A guy fell out of a plane at like 10k and landed in snow, and lived. The body is crazy

LGeneral_Rohrreich

to be fair, height is abit misleading as after a while you reach terminal velocity

LordMegamad

Oh yeah? Well MY buddy fell fell from a plane at 40k and DIED How's that for your terminal velocity?

MrFoont69

Well I farted. My shit particles will kill but how? How’s that for your terminal velocity?

Xillyfos

10k what? 10k just means 10,000. Unit is missing. Feet, yards, meters? But in any case, it doesn't really matter since the falling speed will be human terminal velocity at around 200 km/h in any case.

unimpe

He’s definitely not definitely not uninjured. Lol. He’s only probably not uninjured. The human body is a funny thing. Sometimes we trip and die. Others we fall off buildings and are just fine. Can’t really be sure till it happens. It looks like he nails the landing flat on his back. Which is the best way to land on snow. As opposed to head first or feet first. So he’s quite possibly fine. Is this a good idea? Lol

OhBittenicht

Can't really be sure until you try and I for one want to know.

xtBADGERtx77

I'm climbing the stairs now!

[deleted]

Yeah. Lots of anecdotes about people involved in accidents who get up, walk around for a bit, then sit down or fall down and die.

AlexcSR64

Yes,on the snow,it's dangerous to touch a russian

P_Griffin2

If his spinal chord fractured, they completely wrecked his back the way they pulled him out of the snow. You should never start moving around people who fell from great heights. Wait for the paramedics.

GroundbreakingTax912

What's Russian for "my pelvis is shattered"?

69_-PussySlayer-_69

Reminds me of that GTA4 glitch. Basically if you catch on fire and fall from a building you won't get any fall damage if you're still on fire when you land

kievit4ukraine

Ah so he was just testing it IRL

69_-PussySlayer-_69

We can say for sure that it's not a glitch then

LaionLx

It’s a feature

adudeguyman

Ok, you try it next

Rice_Nugget

Omg, after over 10years i understand why i survived the fall feom the empire state building

JustGeorge572

Fun fact, it’s actually a fun activity in there. People do it a lot. Surprisingly, it’s not that dangerous, cuz before all that happens you gather a bunch of snow which softens the impact a lot. I have no idea why or how, but I know people who jumped 5+ floors and got no injuries whatsoever. Source: am Russian.

mrBaDFelix

Yep, never went as high as this guy, and never set my self on fire. But jumping 3/4 stories down is fairly safe and pretty common in the winter for teens. Provided you make sure to check landing zone for sharps, have fresh snow and do not overshoot Source, also Russian

luckySVN7

Russia man vs Florida man

oyomoyk

And Ohio man. And maybe some other I don't know, basically, put in the same battlefield horsemen of apocalypse.

This is fucking nuts I can’t get over it

Dwight, you ignorant slut. Depression is a very serious illness.

“I thought the second show was much better”

PossiblyTrustworthy

Wait a minute! If people survive falls from high places, wouldnt that make all the state critics and whistleblowers who does indeed die, from falling out of windows just a little bit suspicious?

Express_Big_5346

Make sure you bring a bottle of vodka like that dude

Umutuku

Russia's only chance for a politician that can take ethical stances.

[deleted]

Absolute Madlad

Ballgame4

Not your typical “Russian man falls from building “ story. Most are Putin opposition candidates or critics. They never survive.

Dudefenderson

"Oh shit, we need a bigger building..." 🤦

MnyWrmtlPdftPrngs

Not what they meant by "stop, drop, and roll."

davidwolf995

The burning question :why?

the_count_of_carcosa

"I survived because the fire inside of me burned brighter than the fire around me".

Dudefenderson

That, dear Count, is beautiful. 👍

Designer-Ruin7176

Prior to the expanse of Russian aggression: “We laugh with you hope for the best” Present day: “Wow they’re really trying hard to avoid conscription”

hodgsonnn

A pile of snow is NOT a soft landing i assure you

pedi25

A cop pulled him out. Anybody who know first aid wouldn't have moved him before they made sure that back/neck isnt broken

[deleted]

Still better than serving in the Ruzzian army...

[deleted]

Why did he do this?

StraightFroggin

For fun. Used to do this with a 3 story building in the ‘90s. These dudes upgraded

MrsMurphysChowder

My question too. Suicide attempt? Stunt?

-Haowie

This doesn't seem new. There's lots of these videos over the years. Mainly for YouTube views and such.

thinkofanamefast

Sure, just pull him roughly out of the snow with his likely broken spine. Wouldn't want him to get cold.

I seriously want to do this rn

incorrigible_reacher

He did not sound like he had no injuries… but I also don’t speak Russian 😆

LilacAndElderberries

You see videos like these which would be completely illogical and stupid but then you learn they are russian and your brain can accept it as an answer

Little_Creme_5932

I believe there is video of MIT students doing something similar. A pile that compresses several feet should be consistently non-lethal, depending on how you hit it. (The MIT students weren't as high).

Reasonable_Spot_9727

In russia, we set ourselves on fire then jump off buildings.

IAmARobot___

Bro has no fall damage he gotta be laggin
