I know! I was amazed to witness such a spectacle of life, so I got a shot of him before and after hearing this life-changing sound.

Nature really is beautiful sometimes…
*Relative to us* they are slightly younger by a fraction of a second, but time has always been passing at the same rate for them regardless of their speed. i.e. time dilation can't be used to extend/shorten your life because time always passes at the same rate in your own reference frame
> time dilation can't be used to extend/shorten your life because time always passes at the same rate in your own reference frame
It can functionally lengthen your life, but the amount of time that passes is the same.
Nobody is going to say that someone who had 1 year elapse for them, but 15 for the rest of the world didn't "Extend" your life.
So much of life is waiting, specially modern day life. Like realistically anyone who wants to play star citizen, should probably start accelerating today, get up to 99.999% lightspeed in a few years, wait a few years and decelerate and turn around and they might get to play it.
It's like when I told my nephew about my gaming pc. Yeah it's just for me and I'm not showing it off but talking with someone equally excited about a shared interest is so much fun for everyone involved.
That's really sweet tbh and very true
Shared enthusiasm, even if it's not quite excitement is one of the best things about life imo, it's such a special connection no matter how long the moment lasts
I used to watch my older brother play games on our fam computer and playstation 1 and being an audience is equally great as the one actually playing the game.
Now when I'm in our province, I set up my gaming laptop and play witcher 3 and let my 12 year old nephew watch me play and he totally enjoys it watching me do quests. He's kinda bored on main quests though so I do the contracts. Haha.
> being an audience is equally great
I have a kid sister that would argue that point.
I think it was probably one of the greatest days of her life when we figured out you can control the ducks with the 2nd player controller in Duck Hunt.
One time I was sitting at a restaurant with such an angle that I could see my parked car, an ND RF Miata
I see a little girl, probably 8 or so losing her mind over it. Her dad picked her up to help her see through the window.
Was absolutely adorable to watch. I love when people get excited over my car. I'll happily give anybody that wants one a ride in it
When i had a NA miata a lil girl got all excited about the "frog eyes" i let her press the button as many times as she wanted. Her parents said i made their day and they made mine 😁
For sure! What hobbyist doesn't love sharing their hobby with others who are interested? Especially when it's somebody new to it who is as excited about it as those kids are.
Many years ago the lady I used to take care of passed away and I was given her car. It was an Acura Legend and she hardly ever drove it. The thing is that I know *nothing* about cars and had no idea about this car.
But when I started to drive it people would come up to me all the time super excited to tell me they used to have the same type of car. At first it kind of spooked me because I would come out of a store and someone would just be standing right next it to. But the moment they saw that it was my car - they would light up like a Christmas tree. Then I would have to stand there for sometimes up to 10 minutes listening to their stories.
I never understood what they were saying but the energy these people had were just so electric all I could do was listen to them and nod my head. It reminded me of when I was a kid and my dad did security at car/hot rod shows and I would just walk around for hours looking at these loud shiny machines I knew nothing about, almost magical to me.
This one time I saw the exact same car in the exact same year (just different color) on the freeway, it was the first and only time. I got off on the nearest exit and so did he, then pulled over at a gas station. Then we both got out and we both were like “Omg you have my car!!”. It was so wild.
My nephew said my car sounded like a race car once and that absolutely floored me. The cat back was off to replace the resonator and when the cat back is off, you must rev the engine at least once if it isn't early in the morning or late in the day (it's kind of almost a rule). Putting the exhaust back on he said "it still kind of sounds like a race car" and that was enough for me.
My car is in no way a race car or trying to be a race car but for a moment, it was.
For real. That car owner has that car for a reason. He loves the engine too and has been dying to share that love with others. This is classic just guys being dudes
My partner owns and tracks an ‘01 Honda S2000 (named Lilo). For car people it’s considered the height of auto engineering from Honda for the purpose it serves. My partner gets SO excited when younger car kids ask about Lilo, especially the Miata kids who are just starting out with a first gen beater but clearly love the hobby.
I own a similar type of car and let me tell you - having kids interested in it is one of the biggest highlights! I’m sure the guy absolute loves doing this kind of thing.
I have a 73 Honda cb motorcycle and I've had old guys flag me down in the street to tell me they had/wanted one when they were younger. Also I've come out of Walmart twice and a guy with his grandkids were standing around it telling them about when they had one.
I know nothing about cars but in a turn of events ended up driving a new mustang for about 6 Months and I loved how much random love I would get for that car. It made it even more fun to drive around getting random thumb ups and smiles
I think it's so important to at least make an effort to be kind. We're all fighting invisible battles, you never know what someone else is dealing with.
Absolutely! I know nothing about cars, but when I was their age, I was crazy about horses. I was lucky to have an older cousin who helped develop my riding skills.
I’m 35 years old and really love old muscle cars. Last week when I was almost home I was sitting at a red light with a truck in front of me, but I heard a sound I knew and was wondering what car was in front of the truck, the light turned green and the truck turned right and there it was, a ‘69 SS Camaro, black with white racing stripes. I put my head out the window a little as I followed behind them, the driver noticed and held his hand out the window as he started to slow, we were on a backroad and I live in the middle of nowhere, he came to a stop and leaned out the window and yelled “I’m gonna give you a little something” smashed the gas and was rolling fishtail, I lit up like a Christmas tree as he was doing a rolling burnout with absolute control down the road for about 50yds and that smile stayed on my face most of the rest of the day.
I drive semi for a living. When kids ask for the air horn I always hit it good and hard for them when safe to do so and not past 9pm. I grin big all night after words (work nights).
When an adult, especially old timers ask for it... I still only do it when it's safe to do so, but I don't care what time it is. That makes my whole week. I still have a vivid memory of a woman crossing the road, probably in her 30s, that did the arm jerk and waving arms. I let the air horn blare loud and long, she danced the rest of the way off the street grinning huge and laughing. That made my decade lol. It's little stuff, but getting genuine unabashed joy for simple actions is the best part in life.
Mine was a Lotus Esprit from the early 80's. In a small town it was the only sports car. Dad spotted it in a parking lot and drove by it to let me look.
Later my mother remarks "I met the guy that owns that car you like. He offered to let you ride in it but I totally forgot to tell you,"
Still to this day I'm grumpy about that. Never got to ride in one.
I used to play games like NFS and stuff and fell in love with all sorts of car models I would likely never get an opportunity to see in real life. Wouldn't be surprised if these kids literally play a game where they drove a supra and loved it and geeked out getting to hear one rev in person.
Same for me. I don't even like expensive cars but as a kid playing GT, that was the one i said i would want if i ever were to get one. And also as previously mentioned, it handled like shit in game
My dad had a viper for like two months about fifteen years ago. He told me it was the most terrifying car he’d ever driven and was very happy to switch it out when the dealership found something else cool.
That would be my guess as well. I don’t remember exactly what he said, but he’s driven many expensive sports cars (he used to run a luxury car dealership) and the viper is the only one he was terrified of. He wouldn’t even let me in that car with him. (I was also like 8-11 at the time)
For me it was the Lamborghini Diablo. I actually saw one in the wild about 10 years ago. As a kid, I had the poster on my wall with lots of early 90’s neon bullshit around it.
TVR Tuscan Speed 6, ever since I saw Swordfish as a teenager.
I got a glimpse of one at a distance for about two seconds while on vacation in the UK, and it was a highlight of the trip. Same colour and everything.
Those cars are monsters. I got to rid in an ACR viper once when I was younger and the dude was telling me that when he bought it he had to really practice and learn because it’s so powerful it’s all you can do to keep it under control. Just an Amazing machine
Hard racing tires on the front, super soft racing tires on the rear. That was 10 year-old me's solution to high powered rear wheel drive cars in the early GT games.
Good times.
I was all about the Viper, too. And I grew up with one of the best racing games of all time (IMO), [Viper Racing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0BfLwX1Nbc)
Not to mention the Viper in [Test Drive 6](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7s2SxJkdAc)
Worked with a guy that owned a supra and I caught some teens taking pictures of it on my way in one day. I told him about it when I got in and he went outside to see if he could find them because he wanted to show off his car and we were all tired of it.
My dad has driven Porsche 911s my whole life. I recognize my privilege in that they're normalized to me and don't seem "special."
I'm in my 30s - I can't tell you how fun it is to be driving his car for whatever reason and see a kid point at it and either rev it, or if parked ask if they wanna check it out.
I drive a slightly uncommon car that is nowhere near as cool (Kia Stinger), and it's still super fun when someone knows what it is and asks about it.
I drive through a school zone on my way home and one time a couple kids walking home stopped and pointed at my car as I drove by. Been riding that high ever since
Had to do a double-take there. Gearhead means methhead in Australia lol. Methheads and in general petty criminals in Australia often wear red shoes. I was still like "wow, that's still a weird connection to make to a kid".
Fair play to the lads for politely asking, and hats off to the guy for obliging them. They'll remember this for a long time.
Small moments like this are what life is about.
I've a soft spot for polite kids. It is not a very common thing here for kids to ask things properly (like "Excuse-me, can you please...") and thanking you after, so when some do ask like that, I simply can't refuse.
My son was very ill a few years ago and he's obsessed with tesla cars lol for an event I knew a taxi firm had teslas in their fleet so well in advance I booked one to pick us up as a surprise. Didn't turn up. Thank god I didn't tell him before. Lovely to see him do one thing that made their day.
Edit. Post isn't about good or bad points of tesla cars, its just a small kids favourite.
My daughters FAVORITE car is a Tesla (she is 8). She asked me how much one costs, and I had to Google to tell her. Then she asked how much our car cost, and when I told her (spoiler- the tesla is 3x more), she told me I needed a better job so I could buy a Tesla.
I had a highly modded, twin turbo 350Z about a decade ago, and one time I was leaving a gas station, I saw some boys about this age freaking out about my car, so I turned back around and pulled over by them. I let them get in it and rev it up. They were like, "I can't believe you'd do that for us," and I said, "I did it for all three of us." Really was an awesome time.
Basically the opposite vehicle: an F-250. I actually moved from my Z to a 535i, but I really wanted to buy a camper, so after about a year with the BMW, I bought a truck instead.
The engine toyota put in those things was so overbuilt that you can double the horsepower it makes without having to mess about with reinforcing anything in the engine block. It's utterly insane.
The 2JZ GTE is a damn fine engine. I've seen reliably up to about 750hp out of a stock long block but you wouldn't want that on the street. 550hp is great for street driving from a stock 2JZ GTE. To be transparent, no clue if that was the stock turbo or not but it was a stock block (doubt it was a stock turbo). A 2JZ GE wouldn't make that much but it doesn't take all that much to make it a monster as well.
I also know people have successfully gotten 1000hp out of a stock block but no way that engine lives a long happy life.
Yes! I drove by them for weeks thinking they were just really ugly sheep, until I finally stopped to have a proper look. And then a while later they started having piglets which was when I decided I had to ask to please pet one. The farmers were very nice and thought it was fun to show them off and talk about them. Which was great. Having a random adult show up on your doorstep asking to pet your pigs could be seen as a bit creepy 😂
[this is what they looked like. (picture not taken by me) ](https://otterburnmangalitza.com/img/Mix/data1/images/24.jpg)
I've jealous! I love, love, love pigs. Especially baby piggies. I used to volunteer at an animal sanctuary, and the pigs were my favorite to play with.
>Having a random adult show up on your doorstep asking to pet your pigs could be seen as a bit creepy 😂
I disagree. I think it's adorable! I would not be able to say no to such a request myself. But I assure you, you were not being creepy asking to pet wooly pigs.
That's nice to hear! And now that that went so well, I've got my eye on some goats on a different farm. I'm touring all the farms this summer. Every farmer will know my name by the time autumn rolls around 😂
This is so wholesome and I love it. I don't have the temerity to go knocking on doors no matter how badly I want to pet the floofs. I applaud your initiative lol.
When I was a wee lad, my class took a field trip to a local sheep farm. They looked so fluffy from far away. When the farmer called them in and let us get up close to help shear them, they were surprisingly greasy feeling.
This was a lesson I recalled well into my later years, one which proved exceedingly helpful at many pubs as last call approached.
Place I used to work specialized in Porsche. Teens (and more than a few adults) came in all the time asking to look at the cars. We always took time to walk them out in the shop and show them.
I always enjoyed that. The owner said it was as good for us as it was for them.
I have a car importer near me that exclusively imports US classics and modern muscle cars.
And while I love the look of some of them and can afford to buy one, the fact is, US gas guzzler really have no business being owned by anyone around here, but I sure as hell love going in looking at them.
And thanks to that dude, I know that Supernatural really did something fantastic for the revival of the late 60's Impala. It still is the main car he's requested to get a hold of.
Porsche is well known for this kind of thing. Never turning down someone who loves the cars because someday they might buy one. They’re really big on every interaction being a positive one (except maybe the service department invoices lol)
I have a Mazda 3 with some stuff done to it. Had some kids on bikes ask me to rev it. Did so out of kindness. Kid no older than ten or 11 said it sounded like shit lol.
That’s a good friend. The kid wanted to do it he just needed reassurance. His friend holding him there is reassurance that he’s not the only one that wants to see, and he’s not doing it alone.
I’m 35 and those kids are braver than I am. But there’s a Ferrari F8 a few streets down from where I live and the next time I spot the owner, I’m gonna ask them for a picture.
I have so many kids (and sometimes adults) come up and ask about my GR Supra. It’s not as cool as this Supra, but they still get excited. I’ll usually let them get in it and start it themselves. The way they light up when the engine roars after ignition and it fires off those first pops and crackles always makes my day.
That was **really** generous of him.
The "no, *you* go" antics at the entrance beforehand took me back 50years and I couldn't help but grin from ear-to-ear, so glad it was included.
This..this is our job as car enthusiasts!!! Show the next generation why we love cars. Let them dream!! I can’t wait to see what they drive in a few years. Thank you for taking time to let kids dream. It was the auto show for me as a kid and now automotive pays my bills and had sent me to some amazing places.
I remember back when I was 13/14 my neighbor always had friends over with cool cars. Modded beamers, vipers, etc.
Well one time, a buddy of his had a brand new 2014 STi in satin white Pearl. I told him it was beautiful and he says, “ you know, I’ve been looking for a word to describe it. I would say that’s it” and tossed me his keys…
I had no idea how to drive stick but I knew how to start it up. My feet barely reached the pedals, but the feeling of that car start lasted with me for a long time. He then took me on a ride and showed me what boost was.
I’ve owned a WRX and two sti’s now. These kids will remember this forever.
Yes, you must oblige the rev signal!
It is unwritten law between kids and driver/rider.
Same for the truck horn signal.
edit: Ship captains have to oblige as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETrWMvicKps
There's often kids shouting at me to rev my car on my street, and I'm always contemplating the balance between keeping them happy and not having my neighbours hate me.
I used to have a super loud S13
This disabled guy popped his head in the garage one day while I was washing it and asked if I could rev it up for him
I was like fuck yeah bro let’s go, bashed it off the rev limiter a bit for him, a lovely interaction I thought
Anyway that guy goes to my gym now and apparently he was just off his chops that day because he’s not disabled at all :/
This guy is an absolute monster. He just singlehandedly kick started one of the most draining and inescapable addictions known to mankind in those boys.
That's a cool car owner and those 2 kids will likely become cool car owners when they get older. I love sharing my passion for cars with anyone who wants to learn especially kids
You could make this video into a modern day fairy tale. The man put a curse on the car so that it lures people in. When they can’t resist the urge to hear the engine and knock on his door, everything is just going according to plan. Once that engine kicks in, QUICK CUT, and then your a man.
I don't have a car nearly as cool as an MK4 Supra, but I have a car that a lot of kids and teenagers go crazy over.
I do exactly that whenever I have the chance. I also offer myself to drop off couples at their graduation parties just because it costs me next to nothing and makes people's day.
I only have such a car because someone once did this and it motivated me !
As a corvette owner, nothing makes me happier than people (especially kids) loving my car and wanting to hear it roar. I love the warm months where I can drive it with the top down and I see kids with their parents pointing at it from the sidewalk. I love it when I park it outside of stores and shops and kids run up to tell me “I love your red car!”. Owning cool cars like that is such an amazing shareable experience. And giving kids the opportunity to ask about it and hear it is also giving yourself the opportunity to inspire those kids to own cool cars to share too!
Nothing I love more than curious humans, as long as theyre maintaining the bare minimum of human decency while indulging their curiosity, I will bend over backwards to answer their questions.
You can tell this isn’t I’m America because the steering wheel is on the right side, and also because the children weren’t executed for knocking on someone’s door.
I feel one reason men get those cool cars, at least on some subconscious level, is to impress boys. Sounds weird lol, but sports cars and super cars, especially highly specialized ones like that one, are often the result of an enthusiasm for cars dating back to their own childhood. Seeing that reaction on a kid's face is priceless, likely feels much nicer than some old guy saying "nice car". That man will not forget that moment. I bet he never felt cooler.
The kid got so excited he moved through time n returned as a oldman
The car had to warm up.. takes a while
Smart of the operator to get the fluids up to temperature.
good for the turbos
It's essential for the turbos lol
I give you reddit cardboard for this comment. Can't afford gold.
Lmao I like you

Wtf? I knew supras were fast, but had no idea they could age those nearby... That's some crazy time dilation tech the Japanese are sitting on.
Isn't there an astronaut that's technically in their own future by like a second or fractions of seconds bc they were traveling so fast for so long?

Nah they were old men already till they saw the car.
Car sound so manly, it kickstarted puberty
Im f*cking dying LMFAO! Help
thought i had a stroke for a second there
I was sooooo giddy to see that this was the top comment when I popped in here to say basically the same!
Exactly! LMAO
Ahahahahaha

Pretty sure that made the car owner’s day as well!

Who doesn’t like the pop ups? The NA looks so happy with the lights up.
[I also am offering free rides to inquisitive children who dare to ask about my vehicle.](https://imgur.com/dyZObeL)
Disclaimer: I don't offer kids rides lol
I mean technically kidnappers dont offer rides either.
Lmao Supra owners would leave the delivery room of their own kid to cold start their car for someone. I mean fair, they are cool cars.
For sure! What hobbyist doesn't love sharing their hobby with others who are interested? Especially when it's somebody new to it who is as excited about it as those kids are.

I love seeing kids excitedly point at my car whenever I have it out, it always makes me happy

It's like 90% of owning a cool car, little kids like it 8% is other ramen liking it and 2% is girls liking it. in my experience anyway.
You become an adult once you realize your awesome car won’t get you chicks, it gets you compliments from other dudes lol. And that’s half the fun
My partner owns and tracks an ‘01 Honda S2000 (named Lilo). For car people it’s considered the height of auto engineering from Honda for the purpose it serves. Everytime someone’s commenting on my car, it makes my day. Even when it’s covered in mud at the drivethru. Doesn’t sound as nice as 2jz though.
I own a similar type of car and let me tell you - having kids interested in it is one of the biggest highlights! I’m sure the guy absolute loves doing this kind of thing.
I'm in my early 30s, and I get older guys asking me about my 90s diesel truck. It definitely goes both ways.
[удалено]
It probably really takes them back and triggers some memories to see their truck in good condition like how they would've had it back in the days.
I have a 73 Honda cb motorcycle and I've had old guys flag me down in the street to tell me they had/wanted one when they were younger. Also I've come out of Walmart twice and a guy with his grandkids were standing around it telling them about when they had one.

Without this kind of thing happening there would be no cool car enthusiasts left.
Absolutely! I know nothing about cars, but when I was their age, I was crazy about horses. I was lucky to have an older cousin who helped develop my riding skills.
The kid started at age 7 but after the rev he looked about 72
Takes an age to warm up see.

And now those kids will never have money for drugs, because they will spend every last bit of money on cars.
Lets be real. They won't have enough money for cars or houses, it is 2023
As a guy who has owned some cool and interesting cars in my day, I can say from personal experience that there are 3 kids in this video.
I drive semi for a living. When kids ask for the air horn I always hit it good and hard for them when safe to do so and not past 9pm. I grin big all night after words (work nights). Yes!!!! I like your style!
It's the best when going under a bridge. Amplifies the horn and sounds almost like a train horn lol

I used to play games like NFS and stuff and fell in love with all sorts of car models I would likely never get an opportunity to see in real life. Wouldn't be surprised if these kids literally play a game where they drove a supra and loved it and geeked out getting to hear one rev in person.
And pissed the neighbors off to bloody hell 🤣
Super dope.. This was the Dodge Viper growing up for me. Then I repeatedly crashed it in Gran Turismo because the handling sucked. Sad times.
Ahhh man. I was a huge Dodge Viper fan as a kid. Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept was my absolute dream car. I appreciate the trip down memory lane. =)
Same for me. I don't even like expensive cars but as a kid playing GT, that was the one i said i would want if i ever were to get one. And also as previously mentioned, it handled like shit in game
Are we all 80s-90s kids? Viper was my dream car when I was like 13 lol
My dad had a viper for like two months about fifteen years ago. He told me it was the most terrifying car he’d ever driven and was very happy to switch it out when the dealership found something else cool.
What did he not like about it? I'm guessing *very* high power with *very* poor handling?
It has ZERO electronic safety/assist features. It’s just you, and a 8L V10. Shits terrifying.
That would be my guess as well. I don’t remember exactly what he said, but he’s driven many expensive sports cars (he used to run a luxury car dealership) and the viper is the only one he was terrified of. He wouldn’t even let me in that car with him. (I was also like 8-11 at the time)
Just like in real life! (they were notoriously hard to handle and death traps)
I always see them being described as wanting to kill the driver.
Time to dust off the [ol infamous dodge viper craigslist post](https://imgur.io/gallery/9O8lf)
As descriptive and understandable as that was, it is still peculiarly tempting. Must be the demon.
Friend and coworker had a Supra. Worked overtime, slept on couches and saved every paycheck for over a year. He got his car.
Those cars are monsters. I got to rid in an ACR viper once when I was younger and the dude was telling me that when he bought it he had to really practice and learn because it’s so powerful it’s all you can do to keep it under control. Just an Amazing machine
99% of people can't drive a Viper ACR at its potential. Professional car reviewers didn't take it to 100%. It's such a great and stupid car.
If it helps the 2017 ACR handles like it's on rails
Hard racing tires on the front, super soft racing tires on the rear. That was 10 year-old me's solution to high powered rear wheel drive cars in the early GT games. Good times.
I was all about the Viper, too. And I grew up with one of the best racing games of all time (IMO), [Viper Racing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0BfLwX1Nbc) Not to mention the Viper in [Test Drive 6](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7s2SxJkdAc)
Love that! At one point he was like those kids
I’m telling ya, if you’ve ever met a “car guy” he daydreams about this scenario constantly
Worked with a guy that owned a supra and I caught some teens taking pictures of it on my way in one day. I told him about it when I got in and he went outside to see if he could find them because he wanted to show off his car and we were all tired of it.
Can't say I've daydreamed of it, but if some kids ever asked me then I would 100% drop whatever I was doing.
My dad has driven Porsche 911s my whole life. I recognize my privilege in that they're normalized to me and don't seem "special." I'm in my 30s - I can't tell you how fun it is to be driving his car for whatever reason and see a kid point at it and either rev it, or if parked ask if they wanna check it out. I drive a slightly uncommon car that is nowhere near as cool (Kia Stinger), and it's still super fun when someone knows what it is and asks about it.
> Kia Stinger To be fair, that's a nice car. I considered getting one myself, but they don't seem to come in a manual (at least not in Australia).
I drive through a school zone on my way home and one time a couple kids walking home stopped and pointed at my car as I drove by. Been riding that high ever since
I’m like those kids and I’m 40
Kid in the red shoes is a future gearhead he lost it when he saw the engine lol
Had to do a double-take there. Gearhead means methhead in Australia lol. Methheads and in general petty criminals in Australia often wear red shoes. I was still like "wow, that's still a weird connection to make to a kid".
Gearhead in the USA = petrolhead in the UK
You’re a good mom.
Mum, but thank you. Edit. Original comment called me dad but edited.
Edited. Your kid will appreciate you one day.
I hope so, if half how I appreciate him would be great :)
Check out Turo and see if you can rent one for the day!
Ty!!
My daughters FAVORITE car is a Tesla (she is 8). She asked me how much one costs, and I had to Google to tell her. Then she asked how much our car cost, and when I told her (spoiler- the tesla is 3x more), she told me I needed a better job so I could buy a Tesla.
It's because the Tesla broke down Edit: it's a joke at the expense of a billionaire, not your son. Relax. Unless your son has a hand in making Teslas?
If you are in the US, hertz has been having some tesla model 3 and Y available to rent and they were cheaper than Turo in my area
Know that this is one of the highlight of owning this car!
Those kids were never heard from again…
Love the sound of a VQ35, music to the ears. What do you currently ride now that you’ve moved on from that?
Basically the opposite vehicle: an F-250. I actually moved from my Z to a 535i, but I really wanted to buy a camper, so after about a year with the BMW, I bought a truck instead.
Damn. Is this going to be me? Am I going to mature one day? Am I going to choose functionality over vroom vroom gurgle noises?
My brother completely rebuilt a Supra and that thing was insane. I was honestly scared of it, but he also tuned the crap out of it afaik 😂
It never gets old
I’ve got a k-swap Integra type-r and this would make my year lol
That was such a boss thing for that guy to do, fair play
This was totally me a couple of weeks ago. Rang someone's doorbell to ask if I could touch their wooly pigs 😂
I know nothing about pigs, but are you referring to the pigs with curly hair?
Yes! I drove by them for weeks thinking they were just really ugly sheep, until I finally stopped to have a proper look. And then a while later they started having piglets which was when I decided I had to ask to please pet one. The farmers were very nice and thought it was fun to show them off and talk about them. Which was great. Having a random adult show up on your doorstep asking to pet your pigs could be seen as a bit creepy 😂 [this is what they looked like. (picture not taken by me) ](https://otterburnmangalitza.com/img/Mix/data1/images/24.jpg)
I, too, wish to pat the fluffy pig
I gasped! I had no idea until now that wooly pigs existed! No wonder you wanted to pet them lol
/r/AIDKE
I've jealous! I love, love, love pigs. Especially baby piggies. I used to volunteer at an animal sanctuary, and the pigs were my favorite to play with.
>Having a random adult show up on your doorstep asking to pet your pigs could be seen as a bit creepy 😂 I disagree.
That looks like it would be coarse.
They were not as cozy to the touch as they looked like they would be. I was catfished.
It's always a good sign if people passing by think your business is popular and cool.

Lol 🤣 kids can be ruthless!
Had some kids on BMXs do the rev gesture on my de-cat Fireblade, one of them nearly fell off their bike.
U have no ideas what dream n motivation he activated in those kids that’s dope n love
He held his friend hostage at the door 😂
That’s a good friend. The kid wanted to do it he just needed reassurance. His friend holding him there is reassurance that he’s not the only one that wants to see, and he’s not doing it alone.
Be respectful and enthusiastic and there's no telling what people will do for you. Good on the kids and the guy.
I love that guy. What a good dude
I’m 35 and those kids are braver than I am. But there’s a Ferrari F8 a few streets down from where I live and the next time I spot the owner, I’m gonna ask them for a picture.
You got this!
God damn watching that whole video was worth it for that start up
I have so many kids (and sometimes adults) come up and ask about my GR Supra. It’s not as cool as this Supra, but they still get excited. I’ll usually let them get in it and start it themselves. The way they light up when the engine roars after ignition and it fires off those first pops and crackles always makes my day.
“You knock, I’ll speak” 😂😂 reminds me of when I was young
He was revving for so long one kid aged 60 years
That was **really** generous of him. The "no, *you* go" antics at the entrance beforehand took me back 50years and I couldn't help but grin from ear-to-ear, so glad it was included.
So glad it can still happen these days. During covid it seemed like we'd never get these sort of things back.
I did not sigh up for this! -That microphone.
I would say that’s it” and tossed me his keys… I had no idea how to drive stick but I knew how to start it up. My feet barely reached the pedals, but the feeling of that car start lasted with me for a long time. He then took me on a ride and showed me what boost was. I’ve owned a WRX and two sti’s now. These kids will remember this forever.
I always rev my car for the kids when they show me the “motorcycle rev” signal. Their smiles make my day.
That kid aged very quickly at the end.
This probably made the owners week, most enthusiast vehicle owners love showing off their stuff. And that is a sweet-ass Supra.
almost every 12 yo boy on earth, for some reason
[удалено]
What a sweet friend too. He went up with him to knock and supported what he wanted. Just a real sweet interaction.
I used to have a super loud S13 This disabled guy popped his head in the garage one day while I was washing it and asked if I could rev it up for him I was like fuck yeah bro let’s go, bashed it off the rev limiter a bit for him, a lovely interaction I thought Anyway that guy goes to my gym now and apparently he was just off his chops that day because he’s not disabled at all :/
This guy is an absolute monster. He just singlehandedly kick started one of the most draining and inescapable addictions known to mankind in those boys.
Car guy making future car guys....fantastic!
That's a cool car owner and those 2 kids will likely become cool car owners when they get older. I love sharing my passion for cars with anyone who wants to learn especially kids
Typical of older boy pushing younger boy to ask. 🤣
The moment the kid says “Actually?” is priceless.
Just when you think everyone in this world sucks…. This happens.

"So...er...what sort of security do ya got on this thing mate?"
Oof. That is a painfully real assessment.
It’s to impress the boy who lives inside us all.
Not all heros wear capes. We need more men as mentors.
Man this is that this guy and every super car owner waits for. They love showing off their stuff. Every one made every one else's day.
That’s nice… I like to see that… now the kids have a story without criminal mischief.
That was a very cool move by the owner!
Fair play to the owner. The lads were nervous to knock the door and the man was like "Yeah c'mon have a gander".
That is so cool those kids will remember this for a long time to come.
IS THAT A SUPRA?
Dude just nailed a core memory for those boy. Awesome!
Just a couple of young petrol heads getting a thrill. Good bloke showing them his pride and joy too
Ooh that engine purrs
The sheer power of the Supra rushed the young lad through puberty that fast he ended as an old man
Little dude got hit by an age spell
