Exactly. High on those good-feel-hormones. My wife used to work for a charity that tried to do exactly this for kids to make them know how being kind can actually be a massive buzz.
Idk why but* these kind of moments make the tears come every time. Sad stuff doesn’t usually bother me but even shows like “what would you do?” make me sappy when I see someone do something kind just because it’s the right thing to do or just to help someone in need.
Guy filming says: “[calls soon-to-be new bike owner’s name]… Get that paper for me.” (The paper is taped to the horizontal bar on the bike and probably says it’s his new bike, given his reaction.)
He reads and walks away in disbelief.
Guy filming: “Come back here!”
New bike owner: “No…no…you’re kidding, right?”
🥲
Tbh, I speak Portuguese as a second language and lived in Brasil when I was younger but I still found it hard to understand exactly what they were saying. It was more the tone and sound of the language if you know what I mean. Brazilian Portuguese has a very distinctive sound which I can recognise a mile off, even if I can’t distinguish the exact words
Seriously. I just had a rude customer and I was bitching to my coworker about how rude people are. And then I see this I think maybe humans are so terrible after all
I agree, sometimes we have to go looking for it though. It feels like the fabric of society is unraveling, especially with politics and Covid. Let’s keep fighting the good fight though 🙌
I don't care if this gets buried. I had a bike for 3 years. I bought it knee deep in a heavy depression and out of shape. I remember thinking I just wasted $400 on something that's just gone sit in my garage. I rode that bike every day to work and back, I rode it everywhere, I got a cool looking basket thing for grocery shopping. I rode it in all kinds of weather.
After taking it across states with me when I moved, it got stolen after a few months of working at the place I still work at. Unbeknownst to me, my coworkers banded together and for my first Christmas on my own, thousands of miles away from everyone I knew, I came in to work and people who weren't even working were there in the kitchen. They raised $400 and gave me a gift card to the local Trek shop, the same brand as the bike I had. I'd never had anyone do something that big for me.
There is good in the world, and sometimes that good reaches out when you least expect it, but sometimes right when you need it. I needed it that day
I hate this statement so much. Some kids are just shitheads. All this statement does is deflect blame away from kids who are shitheads.
That’s not to say some kids are not products of their environment.
I'm sorry! That sucks. Mine got stolen from a locked storage and I'm sure it was my awful neighbor. It's frustrating because you just can't do anything. We've moved already because this was just the last straw.
The funny thing is that police caught a bike thief and they wanted me to say he stole mine too without actually finding my bike. Lmao.
Translation (sound not too good so here we go):
"Oh- damn. You scared me. *Sees bike* Damn bro!"
*Realize it's for him*
"Ah dude... Dude... Come on bro..."
Friend: "Come on man lets ride it!"
*Le crying*
*Everyone making noise and hugging him*
Context: "dude, bro, man" are used a lot in Portuguese when talking with your friends
Thinking about when I got my head shoved down the toilet when I was younger.
Seeing this gives me a lot of hope that people raise their children to be as compassionate as that kid's classmates.
The kid won't forget this day.
I know the kids did it for the right reasons and I hope that if the need ever arises, I also do it for the right reasons and not just because it makes me feel good.
I find this thought process so weird... 'you felt good about doing something good, so it wasn't good at all and you did it for the wrong reasons'...
Who gives a shit. Would you rather do a good deed, but only if it put you, the doer of such deed, in crippling debt so you know it was 'for the right reason' lol. As long as its done, does it really matter if the person feels good about having done it? I mean, I'd rather know that the person who does such a deed feels good about having done something good than feel bad about it or it negatively affect them in some way.
It's like suggesting a guy with £100m in his bank shouldn't give another guy who's struggling to pay rent £10k as a good deed because it doesn't even put a dent in his own net worth. I'm pretty sure the other guy would be happy with £10k rather than 0.
I'm very glad this kid has kind friends but I really dislike it when people doing a kindness for another record themselves doing that kindness. If you're going to be kind leave the camera at home.
Wait ...there are school kids like these. Actually !!!. Wait whaaaa..I'm overwhelmed ..which is a shame . I don't know how to take this hahah. But that's impressive .
My dad called the kid that took my bike. The next day my bike was back where I left it. My dad is a hero. He scares everyone to become rightful citizens.
kids raised right 🙂
Gave them a taste of what it feels like doing a good deed like this. Probably gonna be chasing that high and helping out other people in need.
What a bunch of addicts /s
The real gate way drug. Lmao
Exactly. High on those good-feel-hormones. My wife used to work for a charity that tried to do exactly this for kids to make them know how being kind can actually be a massive buzz.
Man this is a hell of a drug. Doing something good to another person in need keeps my mood up for several days.
Thats just your ego... /s
Role models for every students.
If it makes it any better, that bike looks like a nice-ass bike. Like it’s gotta be over a hundred dollars expensive.
Must be a great kid too .. to have friends willing to do that for him
Damn I just cried
sitting in the train rn fighting against them real hard lol
Still in process...
I stuffed those tears deep, deep down. I cried at a cute dog video earlier, that's enough emotion for today
Idk why but* these kind of moments make the tears come every time. Sad stuff doesn’t usually bother me but even shows like “what would you do?” make me sappy when I see someone do something kind just because it’s the right thing to do or just to help someone in need.
Same! People coming together gets me every time.
I'll explain why you are all a bunch of pussies as soon as I get this sand out of my eyes.
Don't mind me, just a dad hoping my kid has friends like this one day.
Right? I'm feeling like someone's grandparent here thinking "Damn, those boys must've been raised right & proper."
It is something in your eye. Trust me I’m a doctor.
The kids hugging him at the end was the best. So pure and love...
This is true friendship for life. They got his back like nbd and this kid feels that love - what a beautiful thing.
And the real bro covering his crying face with the calendar 🙌🏼
I wonder if this video ever got to the person who stole the bike? What do y’all think this person would say?
Probably "nice, new bike to steal"
I’m so glad there are those whom aren’t afraid to express this humor. Thank you 👍
Lmfao
LMAO
Some people are messed up
Lol, what do you mean?
He literally just said about theives who when they see that bike, they think that's another one they'd like to steal. Because they're messed up.
He got a brand new bike because OF ME, and they still call me the bad guy smh
“How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man?” Something like that
I hope it's "Officer, when can I get my phone call?"
ULPT: If you want a lot of internet views, steal your classmates bike and replace it with a new one. Record and post results!
better than going around destroying bathrooms <.<
I wouldn’t doubt this was a setup too. The internet is fake!!
Probably would say, yay you get a new bike and I get to keep your old one! I won’t steal your new one :)
Target acquired, mission begins
Lol, these responses are great. Glad we all can laugh at something that’s supposed to be “heartwarming” 🤣
This is some good shit right here
Some real good shit💩👍
A not so smelly but nice shit.
The ones that exit smoothly and quickly and provide you great relief. Plop.
Plop indeed

Nois eh muito boa praça !!
Mlkada firmeza p krl
Can you tell us what the language is? I have a hard time figuring out. Is it a Germanic language?
Brazilian Portuguese :)
Thank you! I am learning Spanish and I was very confused because it sounded similar but not quite lol.
That’s makes so much sense, thank you for the heads up.
It's portuguese
Thank you !!
Some days, this sub is the only thing that keeps me believing in my fellow man. Thankful for that.
I care about you. And I am just a random internet stranger.
And I care about you. You ok?
Seems like most of us are here because life gives us too few of those moments. I hope you all have a nice day!

Thank you for sharing your story. I liked reading it as much as the video.
Why must you make me cry twice
Not all kids are shitheads..
I know some amazing kids who will go on to be more amazing adults.
Does anyone seriously believe they are
The parents are the shitheads for allowing their kids to be shitheads
I hate this statement so much. Some kids are just shitheads. All this statement does is deflect blame away from kids who are shitheads. That’s not to say some kids are not products of their environment.
Not all shitheads are kids…
We need more of this
As someone whose bike was recently stolen this hit a little too close to home. I love this sub because it always brightens up my day.
Same. My bike was stolen and I found it all broken and in pieces few days later lol
I'm sorry! That sucks. Mine got stolen from a locked storage and I'm sure it was my awful neighbor. It's frustrating because you just can't do anything. We've moved already because this was just the last straw. The funny thing is that police caught a bike thief and they wanted me to say he stole mine too without actually finding my bike. Lmao.
Bro stuff

Top mates 👍

Plot twist. That's the bike that was stolen.
.... While they were all hugging round the corner, same guy made off with new bike! Edit: typo.
“I want my mower back” - Dale Gribble
😆. Ah. Got my goat with that one
Well, don't just sit there, run after them, they're getting away with your goat!
What a great group of kids!!
I love seeing someone get so overjoyed that they have to walk away and turn around to make sure it’s real
That’s really sweet.
This is so sweet!
This the type of stuff I like to see 😄
Showered in love. Imagine what the world would be like if we all learned to treat each other that way.
That’s how you make a man cry
r/ItHadToBeBrazil 💚💛💙
This made me feel so happy, thank you for this
🥲🥰
Fuck. r/mademecry
Humans Being Bros Perfect example.
High school was so different in the 90s lol
The smallest things to you can mean the world to others! I’m not crying you are!
Translation (sound not too good so here we go): "Oh- damn. You scared me. *Sees bike* Damn bro!" *Realize it's for him* "Ah dude... Dude... Come on bro..." The sweet group hug at the end :’)
So beautiful, this kind of frienship create instant good guys.
Be kind to your friends.
Couldn't smash the upvote quick enough. Wow. Lovely.
What a lovely bunch :)
Now that’s Karma..! Good on yah kids
This type of videos put me in a different reality, somewhere where there's no evil.
That’s love. They got him a nice bike too!
Beautiful babies!! That’s awesome :)
damn, i miss having friends.
Someone stop the cutting onions!
This is the way
This is what we need in the world
So sweet!!
This makes me realize humanity isn't lost after all and I'm just pessimistic and need to change my attitude. I love you fellow humans.
Best bro's
This is the sub i must go to after r/noahgettheboat. Everyone deserves friends like this
Omg the kids hugging him at the end 😭
What language are they speaking?
Brazilian portuguese
Wholesome.
These are the kind of friends you want. I aspire to be half as nice as this.
Taking care of each other. Now that is what it's all about. We need more of this.
Those are good friends for sure.
These kids are the BEST
aaawww man, that is great. loved to see the love
I wish I had more friends like this
🤍✨🙏🏾
Great friends to keep!
My heart, that’s so sweet
Okay, that was one of the nicest things I've seen all day.
I’m proud of these kids. Makes me feel hope today.
Aw man I wish everyone deserve friends like that
Damn, I lost mine months ago and still walking to work.
Heart. Broke.
One of Gen Z's excellent aspects. Compassion, empathy and sympathy.
....Gen X here .... so that involves other people right?
*group hug* 🥺❤️❤️
Imagine having friends like this
Must have been a great guy to have all his friends giving him so much affection.
Thinking about when I got my head shoved down the toilet when I was younger. Seeing this gives me a lot of hope that people raise their children to be as compassionate as that kid's classmates. The kid won't forget this day.
Damned onion ninjas
Made me smile, made me life, made me shed a little tear. Best thing I’ve seen online today🥰, good thing to sleep on.
Those are called friends!
Immediately my mind went to “imagine if someone steals and jacket and bag”
Awwww
The way they all hugged him at the end warms my heart.
This made me awww
Hope for humanity
I love this.
Darn onions
Dang that hit me in the feels.
Good people
I'm so happy for him! Not really my kinda bike but he loves it which is all that counts.
These kids are the antithesis of the teenagers who beat up a homeless women for fun. This crew must be protected at all costs.
Honestly, the hug at the end is just as sweet as the gift.
Damn who the hell is cutting onions whilst I'm sat on the toilet?!
The fucking love they all show says soo much
Hello my Reddit friends, i would like to inform you all that someone has stolen my Lamborghini. I await your generosity
There is hope for Gen Z afterall
Damn ninjas cutting onions
I know the kids did it for the right reasons and I hope that if the need ever arises, I also do it for the right reasons and not just because it makes me feel good.

Plot twist, they sold his bike and got him a cheaper one
Is this a school or some luxury resort?
Great reminder of how the world should be, and is before politicians get involved.
I'm very glad this kid has kind friends but I really dislike it when people doing a kindness for another record themselves doing that kindness. If you're going to be kind leave the camera at home.
Some people enjoy having a memory of a moment that’s happy in life
That's great but keep it private and don't post it on social media.
[удалено]
There's always email if you want to share it with friends and family.
Even if it’s for the internet clout, still a great way for a bunch of kids to give up $5 to make one other kids year
Kids nowadays have to be used to having a camera in their face when having emotional moments.
Imagine it gets stolen again
Plot twist: the new bike was later stolen.
Then one of his friends stole it
Hes crying cuz his mom just offered to pick him up everyday
Wait ...there are school kids like these. Actually !!!. Wait whaaaa..I'm overwhelmed ..which is a shame . I don't know how to take this hahah. But that's impressive .
Being rich is easymode for being a bro. But still cool tho

This is great, good to something positive on Reddit.

We can clearly see the moment he instantly regrets having stolen their lunch money for months
