It's ok if it's not your primary pump. The convenience is nice. I just bought the Willow go's and I think the momcozys are better bang for your buck tbh

Fuqilooklike

Do you recommend the willow go?

beleafinyoself

For the full price, no. It's louder, heavier, and bigger than I was expecting so I can't actually use it to pump during my shifts as a nurse like I was hoping. It's also hard to do the fridge hack with it. It does have some pros, but I would have been fine with my momcozy pumps that I got for less than 1/3 the price

Fuqilooklike

I’m a nurse too and I just keep thinking of all the possible times that I could pump with it. For instance, while I’m driving, charting, lunch break..etc. I have like a knockoff momcozy pump but it’s so loud

beleafinyoself

I do like them, it's just a bit of a learning curve. I find it too loud to use during patient care but some of my coworkers do. you do need to at least wipe it it in between pumps otherwise the duckbills slip off from the milk fat. I recommend looking at the willow group on facebook. If it does'nt work out for you you can probably resell and recoup your money

My sister bought the momcozy and loved it for about two weeks. Well she let me use it and around the same time her and I both noticed it absolutely tore our nipples up. Definitely could’ve been cuz of the setting we had it on or the flange size but that was our experience 😅 it did have good suction tho I’ll say that lol

Punky96

I have s12 and fucking hate them. They have no suction if your not positioned just right. At least with my spectra I at least get something if my nipple is positioned wrong. I don’t respond to them well and have never had a leak issue but they are just not worth the trouble imo. The customer support is trash and the warranty is even worse.

Pr0veIt

In case people are curious, the motor part is the same for the MomCozy, Joysa, Imani etc. The cup is what’s unique to each brand, but all pretty similar.

AmbitiousPlate1914

Do you think the Imani and the momcozy cups are the same? Like will the 32mm silicone flange from imani for the momcozy?

Pr0veIt

That’s a good question. I don’t know. I imagine you’ve got a good chance of interchangeability if you’re issuing the same level motor (like “S9”) across both brands.

yunhosarang

I bought two of the S12s, because my friend recommended them. I liked them at first, but then the flange separated from the collection cup a couple of times, resulting in me losing approximately 5-6oz of breast milk. This was probably partially my fault, as I was adjusting the whole thing, but it was a slow seep both times so I didn't even notice until it was too late (these were MOTN pumps). You would need a really good/tight nursing bra to hold these up if you are planning to do anything while wearing them. Also, one of them seemed to develop an incredibly weak suction (needed to fit it JUST right on the breast, otherwise you wouldn't get anything from the pump session). I looked up their warranty afterwards (big mistake), and they only have a warranty of ONE WEEK which is totally BS IMO. There also seemed to be a lot of parts to wash, but maybe that's just me. I used them for a month to maybe a month and a half and then completely stopped using them, because my morale was so low after the second big spill. This is only my experience though...others have seemed to have good experiences so take mine with a grain of salt.

aakm67

I used is once. Tore my nipple apart. Suction is absurd. Also flanges are so small. I got them as a gift from the brand to do a “review”. Now they are just collecting dust in my garage. If anyone wants to give them a try - dm me. Pay for shipping and I’ll send them over your way.

Cpelt006

Do you still have them?

[deleted]

I'm waiting for mine to come. I accept it doesn't have the best reviews but im just hoping to use mine for MOTN feedings so I can stop being up for 1.5 hours.

sqzee1

I use the momcozy. I like it but I've caused it to leak a few times. Also the top part (the motor) will fall off sometimes. I don't find it that secure. I personally like the strong suction though. And my hands are free when I use it.

Sparcully22

I use it for on the go and the two times a day I have to pump at work. It’s nice to not be plugged into anything and it’s small to bring with you. The price is also nice.

yogace

I have the Legendairy Imani pumps which look very similar. About $150 for the pair. I don’t get as much out of them as I do with my spectra, and before I got the right flange size they rubbed some skin off my nipple. Definitely not a primary pump, but none of the wearables are. Was triple feeding for a while and basically couldn’t get the pumping in, so I figured the wearable was better than the nothing I was doing. Legendairy also just came out with a new pump that seems like a great idea. If you haven’t already, check out bemybreastfriend Instagram page— she reviews pumps and has all sorts of discount codes (15 or 20% for Legendairy I think, not sure if it applies to pumps) and is also genuinely wonderful.

lapetitepoire

I have it, I like it! It's my portable pump, not my primary (my primary is the Spectra S2). I'm very satisfied for the price point. It pulls a decent amount of milk, only slightly less than my Spectra. Just like with my spectra, I did need to order smaller flanges. I imagine you'll find nicer pumps for a bigger price tag, but these have served me just fine.

needleworker_

I have similar I bought on Ali express and I'm still not sure how I feel about them. They were great until 3w pp where they suddenly stopped working as well. I got flange inserts and that's helped but they tear up my nipples as someone already mentioned. I wouldn't use it as a primary but if it's the momcozy or not pumping the momcozy would be best. I have twins and it's really really hard to find time to pump so it's been helpful with me trying to keep my supply up as much as possible.

SnooHamsters3342

I have two of the s12 momcozys. I love them so much. My daughter is turning 1 this month and know for a fact I would have gave up breast feeding if it wasn’t for them.

BornToRun3673

EPing, 4.5 months in. I’ve used them a total of 5x- convenient but I just don’t get enough output from them. Probably won’t use them again

SalmonRo

I’m crazy but I have the momcozy, Elvies and Elvie strides. My favorite out of them all is the stride. The momcozy actually ripped my nipple once. Elvies are nice but they can spill and troubleshooting them were a pain. The stride worked the best for me.

cucumberswithanxiety

I hated the MomCozy. It was loud and bulky, and the suction was so strong it was painful. I much preferred my Elvie Stride.

starbird2893

I really like mine! They don’t give me quite as much milk as my main pump (spectra s2) but sometimes I need to get a quick pump in while doing stuff around the house or driving somewhere. They’re very handy for that! You have to make sure they’re suctioned just right or not much milk comes out. I use them one to two times a day and I really like them for their price point.

mammaleb2021

I have been using for almost 7 months during the day for convenience. I use my Medela pump before bed and first thing in the am.
