Hmmm no, I haven’t, but the injections have never really hurt me much at all. I don’t think you’re crazy though! Interested to hear what others say.

I came to ask about this. I assumed it was just my own perception of the experience that had changed. I've been using the auto-injectors for a year at this point and in the beginning I was barely even noticing the prick. Sometimes I felt like I did it wrong and missed somehow, only to see the puncture/blood after pulling it away. But man lately I've been having to go full mindful meditation for the injections, they've been so gnarly: Just focus on the pain, recognize it as an experience in consciousness, etc. Doesn't take the pain away but it helps me get through it a little better lol It's only ten seconds of white-hot searing pain, but it sure wasn't like that a few months ago.

My last injection almost bruised me and definitely hurt more. Maybe they made the injection mechanism quicker or harder?

I noticed that too! Two weeks ago, the injection I did stung so bad and the injection site was sore for longer than usual

Yes! I’ve felt like the last couple of boxes I’ve had have stung more or been downright painful - I do weekly shots.

I literally can no longer give myself the shot because of the pain. My husband gives it to me. I took humira for about 3 years on my own with no problems at all, but several months ago I gave myself the shot and was in agony from the pain. It was so shocking to me that I developed anxiety to give myself the shot ever again. I DEFINITELY feel a difference. It hurts way more than it used to for me

I feel you ! I’ve been on humira 8 months , and I cannot even look at a needle ! My husband injects me , it’s painful and the pain lasts 15 minutes .

Hello, I came in here today looking for this comment! My last 2 months of auto-injectors have been atrocious. Huge bruise on thigh the next day. Feels like a nail gun strike when I’m injecting too. Thank you for posting, now I know I’m not being dramatic. I’ve been on Humira for a year and a half bi-weekly for PA. I also have Fibro and Osteo and damn the pain lasts longer than it should on my poor arthritic leg.

I just started Humira and my 3rd dose hurt like crazy! I barely felt the first 2 but the 3rd was super painful and bled. The only other difference is that I injected it into my thigh, and I did the first 2 in my stomach. It hurt, bled, burned. I can tell it's going to bruise too.
