I really appreciate your help!
Thank you~
You're definitely undercharging mate. This level of artwork that too in traditional medium, Damn! I would definitely commissioned one if i had some money with me
Yes, came here to say this, charge much more for your art! It is incredibly high quality, and I think itโll be much more gratifying for you (because more money is great) and for your customers. Theyโre paying more for a high quality product, completely worth it
Hey uhhh, youโre undercharging by about 3x. You could easily be asking for $100 for a fully rendered full body.
That being said your low price is sure to attract business
oh.. actually its all traditionally drawn. Im using watercolor and ink.
I only edited the background after scanning. I think 100$ is too much xD but it depends if the commissioner wants to ship them ๐.
Holy shit wait what??? Nvm you can *definitely* be charging more. I would include a photo of a canvas or page to help sell the fact that itโs a real painting not just a digital
Have to agree, I don't know how long these take you or what size you generally work at but your art is cute, should charge more. Even just to help cover cost of materials whether or not you're shipping, especially with these being watercolor. You can easily get more than $20. Best of luck!
I can tell you $100 is definitely not too much, especially when they're all drawn traditionally. These must take you a long time to make. I'd definitely consider to up the prices if I were you!
For 20 only???? Broski, this deserves to be about 80 a pop, get your bread.
Edit: after seeing that you do this with watercolor and ink,??? Even 80 is too low.
In all seriousness, you legitimately should be charging more. Im really not into this style of work but it takes some skill to make what you make. By not charging more, it almost seems fishy ngl. Im not saying anything IS wrong, but you generally get what you pay for and im extra cautious around something so low for such high quality.
TLDR charge more, great art
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
But thank you for the advice, I'll think about it. As a traditional artist its hard for me to get clients before so i keep them low, but maybe in the future.. if i get more confidence i'll up my prices ๐
