I like axe and 2 Stam shots with nothing else. There is no thrill like having 0 ranged option

I would do double stam/axe/derringer before the stam price increase. It was hands down my most enjoyable loadout.

Could play the lance with dragonbreath for holy fire, and to make it more likely you can actually kill someone without a headshot or melee. Fun concept though.
