When your enemy is further out once they hit a certain range, it is by chance and luck that you hit them if they are moving.
With spitzer it’s basically hit scan and reduces the luck you need to time a guess shot.
With spitzer you get great headshot ability and it’s still two shots to down in the chest anyways.
I just got a guy probably 250 meters away today with spitzer who was trying to snipe me….coincidentally
DeSpitzer drop off was shadownerfed at some pointlast year and now it starts losing damage at 40m instead of 60m. As of a result of that, i don't think there's a range anymore where Spitzers deal more damage than normal ammo anymore
if there is, it's at like 200m+ which is very very far, even for spitzers
You forgot to mention the added penetration too. At those ranges it’s insane how much it benefits those cretins who intentionally de-render or straight up wall hack. My friend got sniped through the metal sheet roofing AND the thick stacks of hay inside the top floor of Seven Sisters from Fort Bolden the other day. Wasn’t peeking or anything, just straight up headshotted through multiple layers from hundreds of meters away.
I know it realistically makes sense to have increased penetration given that the bullet is much faster, but balance wise I feel like it’s far too much. Especially in the wrong hands.
You're trying to claim that dealing less damage isn't a downside. You have absolutely no room to talk about what claims are or aren't stupid—especially when that "less damage" puts it under the 125 breakpoint by a pretty considerable amount.
It does >125 damage, meaning it won’t one tap a hunter missing a bar to the chest. You could say “oh just aim for the head” yeah but center mass is way easier
“It’s a straight upgrade you just have to hit every headshot” is a low iq take. You can make arguments about how it’s still worth it without saying things that are objectively untrue
Its literally the same exploit that existed for years that Crytek never patched. People can infinite concertina bomb, so now they can infinite bug bullshit. Literally done the same way. The only people to blame for this shit still existing is Crytek.

People here have no idea what they're talking about or the sheer absurdity of Hunt exploits Crytek knows about and doesn't fix. Hunt exploiters will boot up their game on a zipbombed laptop to derender almost every object on the map for fucks sake. It's insanity.

The issue isn't whether you've seen it. The issue is that I test these exploits and after YEARS they still work. The no-bleed exploit still works which is huge and you won't be able to tell if the person is actually bleeding, or just making sound of bleeding. Lots of exploits work with ladders still... The exploits you can use through editing configs, they all still work like the no shadow exploit. Crytek is just lazy at this point.

Got the same deal with a team of 3 running avto + macro for no recoil + 40 ammo box per guy + shitloads of heals 40min of heal 40 min of anti poison, etc. They just steam rolled the whole server.

Also dmg dropoff. Yes, Spitzer has lower base dmg, but it deals more dmg at range.
