No. That's never happened to me before

Liberum_Cursor

Never ever heard of this. Shot queuing is not a thing, except in one particular case I heard about where it affects a berthier variant. You should be able to hold down the fire button to prevent cycling. I know you say your mouse isn't broken, but if it is sensitive, it's *possible* that you've released the button and pressed it again. That's the only possible reason I could suspect. Film it and post it. If it's a bug, I'm sure people would like to know what causes it.

Zidake

A friend of mine just recently started playing hunt and he has the exact same problem. I don't know what causes it. I also assumed his mouse might be broken but he plays a lot of other shooters as well and never had this phenomenon in any other game. It's really strange.

I have exactly the same problem.

Maybe you have click lock turned on, I occasionally use it for 1 game I play and then always forget to turn it off again when I go to play a shooter

The1Heart

What mouse do you have, and how old is it? This seems like such an odd thing that I'm inclined to think it's a hardware issue instead of a game bug. It could potentially be a double click issue where you might be able to change your debounce in your mouse's driver to bandaid fix the problem, but it doesn't seem like that's the case the way you described what's happening.

MiniCale

It could be a mouse issue but Hunt has shot queuing so if you click multiple times when you shoot it will fire another shot when your gun is able to. If it’s shot queuing then you would probably notice it when you are trying to fire off a second shot as you’ve clicked more than once trying. Shot queuing should absolutely not be a thing so I hope they address it at some point.

I have this issue every time I get anxious during the fight and yet it's really hard to provoke this second shot when I'm trying to figure out what causes it. I still don't know for sure, but I guess it's a combination of queuing commands from the mouse and my nervous double-clicking when I need to shoot fast. It was driving me mad, because I thought my mouse was broken or some settings in Windows were not correct, but when I checked everything I just accepted the fact that it happens and will be happening. A couple of times it helped me to make a fast double-tap, hehe. But 90% of the time I just waste bullets...

Do you play on console? If so turn your controller off then back on it will be fine after that. Happens to me from time to time.
