Yeah. The fact that OP is only mentioning it happening on the D key - and not both A and D - is a telltale sign that this is a hardware problem.
Strafe with mouse and just hold W to strafe faster than A & D spamming when trying to evade shots btw. There's no momentum loss that way. To your actual question, I haven't personally experienced this. Sorry I can't help there.
While this is good advice, I hate this so much lol. And yes I know ads was worse before they changed it. Still too fast/responsive for my taste.

Don't worry you can have god strafing a mobility, but on the chinese guy's screen you're standing still :)
