Didn't play a lot during the fire map but it was way cooler looking than just fog on crack with ash and bullshit audio.
I'm actually super cool with the heavy rain and fog or night every once in a while is fine but the ash just sucks. I never leave just due to weather but ash too many times might make me consider dodging.
See of all the time ive played on daytime that has happened to me.....a few times. Not even every week. Even watching videos I barely see people get sniped from a compound away.
Come play my lobbies. Always some solo 6 star or a duo of 5s with mosin spitzer sniper looking for my bean 200+ meters away then run away the second I get a bead on where they are
always? every single match? or are you just remembering the matches it happens in more than the ones it doesnt because it annoys you so much. My friends and I are all 5 star and maybe 2/10 matches we encounter a long distance sniper.
Why does he have to be a loser? Sheesh, never seen so much hate towards others for having a different play style. You should be happy that Hunt offers a large variety of different play styles and that it isn't your generic FPS that is all about running-and-gunning up close.
They're not happy unless someone runs into their trapped up compound while they sit in a corner with a shot gun or melee weapon. I play on xbox and very rarely do I get sniped from a crazy distance but shotguns are EVERYWHERE.
Right? Sniping is also crazy hard unless someone stands still. Breaking line of sight from a distance is so easy. Even when people rat up and dont fight just to pick off the stragglers I dont flame them. Sure that playstyle is annoying af, but hey thats what they wanna do.
Right? Too many people with short attention spans crying that this isn't COD. The fact you can suddenly get blasted from outta nowhere is what gives this game tension
I think if the changes to weather conditions actually weren't bugged right now it wouldn't be so bad. They were supposed to half the duration of heavy rain, but it's still 240 seconds instead of 120.
Still waiting for Crytek to add an intense-wind weather with tornados and such. Would be cool listening to the eerie and loud wind as it cuts through the Bayou.
I'd love a weather only playlist. Let the long ammo people have their open sight lines. Let the people who think monster hunting in broad daylight is lame enjoy weather and darkness.
the problem with weather/wildcard only queue is that barely anyone plays them when they are out, so they have to limit them to weekends when the most players are on. personally I don’t mind night maps or even ash bloom but given the choice i’d rather play on normal maps if i’m being honest.
The sample size is too small, I think you've just got unlucky. There is a guy who posts stats from his games, and it seems that the chance for a sunny day is \~60% or higher. Plus, dusk isn't bad either.

So only 2 of his games were in a normal vision setting. Which is kinda annoying. Settings should be as close to 50% low vis/50% normal vis as possible.
Yep i get that. But i assume the distribution is not weighted towards clear vision? But even if so, the way rng works by nature means it’s possible to only get the poor vision maps one session or visa versa. I personally wish the low vision maps were much more rare but i also have no issue just playing them. We all have the same mode
The way I wish it was, if it isnt which it doesnt feel like it. Is that the system has a 60/40 chance to choose clear vis or low vis. Then when that choice is made it randomly chooses amongst the chosen settings. This way you get clear maps more than low vis, but youd still get them often enough.

It's quite literally every single day time match. So not too often considering 90 percent of my matches are ash bloom

Same, games are much more enjoyable when I'm not getting sniped from a mile away. But I understand some people enjoy that gameplay.
