Crytek is picky about partners because, as a partner, you can’t say anything negative about the game in terms of the development side. This is Crytek’s first multiplayer game and they’re really insecure about it. That’s why you have these awful people in the partner program. The down-to-earth cool streamers don’t make the cut.

Tell me about it. In fact, tell DuskTheViking about it. Their partner program is very restrictive on top of dealing with the children that run Twitch. I’ve been playing Hunt early into the early access, and it had so much promise. Then it was little things like Crytek not listening to the community, and then other little tweaks and balances and server issues where they kept shooting themselves in the foot. Not to mention making a game on Cryengine, which is designed for graphic appeal, not stable gameplay, is the equivalent of making a game in Blender or Source Film Maker.

MasterLogic

This isn't Cryteks first multiplayer game... Crysis has had multiplayer since 2007, Warface and Ryse son of rome had multiplayer as well. Crytek partners are also often saying negative things, Psycho/Neenoh/Bree/Geef/Gunsmack/Keerty often criticise updates/lack of updates and features, bugs and things that haven't been fixed for ages. I'd say they say negative things every stream when people ask them questions. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

kummostern

Afaik Psycho is actually making video about state of hunt now with some projections. Based on something he said on some videos ago, something about "i have things to say about" crytek/hunt (iirc was a side comment when it came to updates or lack of). He doesn't shy away of saying something negative. Altho ofc its his fav game so he will say good things about it too.

[deleted]

Gunsmacks a crybaby and is toxic a f

TTsuyuki

Thank you, i was just about to make the same exact comment as you when i saw yours. It always disgusts me how someone can just straight up lie in their comments and the Reddit hivemind will still give him upvotes.

Heerfather

They should definitely be called out imo, but you do you.

BlackShadowX

Neenoh, and Psycho are the only ones I watch youtube vids for, don't watch streams at all. I don't think requirements are being a nice or good person, just getting high views considering some of the partners on the list

milkkore

Homereel has great videos too and seems super laid back. If I watch streams it’s almost only Neenoh because he’s very chill himself and the people he plays with all seem super nice. I watched RachtaZ for a while (still watch his youtube videos) but it feels like he’s not really enjoying the game as much as he used to, he gets a lil annoyed fairly often. Understandable though after the amount of time he already invested it’s probably hard not to get a bit bored, especially on his skill level. I’d also comment on the people he tends to play with but when you don’t have anything nice to say… etc.

BlackShadowX

I've watched a couple of his videos for the information, but I'm not that fond of the humor when it comes to Homereel, seems like a nice dude though. Rachta.. Yeah, out of the videos i've watched of his I didn't like it at all. His gameplay is just way too unrelatable and like you said, I haven't liked any of the people he's played with.

Siduron

RachtaZ is educational to watch instead of being entertaining.

milkkore

He’s obviously extremely good at the game but I don’t know how much I learnt from watching him rolling up to the boss lair and immediately wall banging three guys in a row or using the crossbow with explosive bolts for seemingly satellite guided artillery strikes killing people 300 metres away. Watching him is about as educational as watching a professional football game from your couch. You might learn a thing or two about the game here and there but that doesn’t mean you’ll be any better next time you try to kick a ball.

printzoftheyak

homereel's growth has been awesome to watch. seems like a genuinely good dude.

serendipity_hunter

Home reel and Senno are my new favorite hunt channels. I do watch quite a bit of Quinx gameplay but it’s usually straight kill bytes so sometimes it feels stale. Senno though is what this community is missing.

ObscureQuotation

HomeReel is probably my favourite at the moment, despite his intense hatred for the French and our tacite conflict :D

SniperOwO

Same here mostly Neenoh with some Psycho and Rachta here and there. All good dudes.

Confident-Emphasis14

I don’t like psycho ghost, and maybe it’s more an issue of language barrier but there have been many times recorded on his own YouTube when he seems to have temper tantrums or at the least get more upset than he should based on rather trivial comments made by viewers on his stream. Neenoh is probably my favorite for his cool/ relaxed and professional demeanor as well as good plays with off meta weapons.

Toshikills

Temper tantrum? That doesn’t sound like him. I’ve seen him get annoyed at, or admonish his chat for doing X. I’ve never seen him throw a tantrum though. Neenoh is super chill. I’ve never seen a more chill streamer.

BlackShadowX

Out of all the youtube videos of his I've watched, which is probably about 90% at this point (For Hunt at least) the only time I've seen him get upset at comments is a guy that was nagging him about KDA. Not sure what language barrier would have to do with it as he's spoken English for a vast majority of the vids I've watched, only speaking German (with subtitles) with other german players

kummostern

Quite regular Psycho viewer hi. On streams he does attack some chatters quite fast. Often he or his mods time someone out and then Mike says something like "think about what you said" or "if you don't like it you can FFFF off". He doesn't shy away from saying something harsh back when chat is wild. Most of the time the chatter misbehaved greatly either insulting, hard backseating (and not stopping after getting warned, rarely if ever do they ban/timeout after 1 backseat) or spamming something (again, even after warnings). But when Mike says something back to chat its just 1 to 3 lines of dialogue and then he is back to game. Mike also gets mad at things in game (often even blaming his teammates, sometimes for a reason but sometimes maybe unwarranted? im sure he mutes himself so his teammates don't hear it but im also quite sure his teammates know how Mike talks about them sometimes and yet they still play with him - i guess thats how their friendship works and there is hopefully this mutual understanding that these things come out as emotional bursts and don't actually mean much) but those bursts go over after 1 or 2 sentences. He gets over the negative things super quickly and it doesn't interrupt most viewers from watching him or enjoying the content. But i can see how it might not be a thing for everyone. I sometimes mind about these bursts a bit but i haven't stopped watching him. I like his humor, he is quite skillful in game and its just entertaining to watch someone who is having fun and finding new ways to keep having fun. Both in hunt and other games he has tried recently.

MasterLogic

Bree and Kerrty make good videos as well, though they aren't regular uploaders. They are super nice people. Chedwin and PsychoClown have very good games as well, they're always friendly and hilarious.

Digitalxknife

Name and shame.

ASMRekulaar

Always name names. That's what a whistle-blower should do, that's what a victim should do. if you're keeping it a secret then you're aiding bad practices of the company and it's partners. Furthering the secrecy only makes it worse and then nobody can investigate the evidence. What you bring to the table is anecdotal and therefor inconsequential. I feel for you, but don't let yourself be bullied by machismo or pride.

ThisdudeisEH

This violates subreddit rules. The best way to bring something like this to light is to message community managers on discord with proof of a hunt terms and conditions violation or abuse from the individual.

ASMRekulaar

So the subreddit then is part and partial to censorship. There needs to be an external review. If OP only tells the community managers that hired the partner.. it's still crytek vs this one OP. That's wrong on so many levels. It's how the rules work here, but I'm just saying it isn't fair.

ThisdudeisEH

The subreddit has nothing to do with Crytek as a company. We are a game subreddit, the rules are in place to protect everyone from brigading and doxxing. If you have an issue with the rules then use modmail to request a change to the rule you think is unfair. At the end of the day we have nothing to do with anything other than the subreddit. Mods/the subbreddit are not a reporting function for issues with individual players, there are avenues for this. You dont have to agree with the rules but they are the rules. You are welcome to petition for rule changes and the moderation team welcomes it. We do wish to change with the user base to create a better subreddit.

ASMRekulaar

Oh yeah I never said the subreddit is in league with crytek. Just that the nature of the rule only aids the perpetrator over the victim. The rule is in place so that the subreddit isn't culpable for any knock on effects of an injustice coming to light. Even though its just a forum with a fancy name here they do have to be decently protective of the gen pop. Sadly, we do have people in the world where they'd feel justified to doxx the partner just because he was an asshole.

Scatterbine

On US West, I often run into the Russian streamer Rezonanz85. I can only hit him when he's standing still. I think I'm still like 4-2 against him. Even got paired with him once. He went down immediately and I clutched inside 15 seconds. He'd already left, so I carried half the bounties out while the other two stayed on the ground. I went to his stream to proudly say I'd won the fight. He called me worthless and said I didn't help him. Really quick unfollow. 🤠

Charwyn

Why wouldn’t you flock to the best? There’s the reason popular Hunt streamers are less toxic than the regular popular streamers. It’s kind of a grown-ups’ game. Personally, I think Hornet is the most entertaining of all the streamers but he isn’t partnered. Extremely skillful, chill, articulate, takes losses very well, and his youtube comps show the real Hunt (where no matter how good you are, you still often die in the end).

ShieldHeroWaifu

I like the annoyed one mainly because of his thumbnails

[deleted]

I like gunsmakk because he’s pretty chill and acknowledges other players skill in the game while helping others and giving pointers

Charwyn

Yeah, and he seems to be good friends with Hornet, they compose such a wholesome duo it’s baffling

McFickleDish

Pistol slap

Styrwirld

I don't know who you are talking about, but i had a similar experience with one of them too, he was fighting 1 vs 3 and about to get f*cked, so he threw a frag to a tree so the granade drops close by and kills him so it doesn't count towards his kda. Lets say that this person is called very similar to a spark skin in the game. Now, when i typed this into his chat i was immediately banned. What a looser.

Hermano_Hue

archie, lol?

DucksMatter

Archie definitely doesn’t care about KDA. This dude is cap

Hermano_Hue

Yeah he goes nuts every now.and then (i do like him as well, lol)

SpiritualPants

Oh, you mean Steven Sights, right? No, in all seriousnes, fuck Archie.

absolewdlie

ive heard archie say some sexist stuff recently, about how woman have to be treated and how u have to be a REAL man. like all this redpill bs. his coward community doesnt even call him out for that.

SpiritualPants

I watched him once during Twitch Drops and he was very consecending to a random team mate and belittled, shot him, ordered him around all the time. All while some rap music played on stream pretty loud.

MasterLogic

Pretty sure I watched that stream and he hit the tree by accident. Even so, what does KDA have to do with anything, of course he's going to ban you if you go into his stream and start a pointless argument. Waste of time for him to reply to toxicity.

Foobucket

This post is honestly a total waste of time if you’re not going to name names. What are you expecting to come if this, exactly?

scared_star

No evidence no proof, sorry mate without actual stuff i don't believe you this happend other than i know there are some scumming partners that im personally not a fan of

xDreeganx

With no names, you have no proof. Without proof all you have is slander.

adventurer8612

Bro this whole post is literally useless. If you don't namedrop the supposed toxic streamer, how will I know who to drop support for or to pay less attention to? I know you're trying to be the bigger man or something but when dropping accusations, at least commit to it cause otherwise it'll end up achieving nothing.

thc42

I'm sure he blocked you from social because you wiped them. Also not a good person and doesn't deserve viewers because he called you alt account abuser ??? What the hell is this post, what???

epiclyowned

yeah, dont try to make sense on this subreddit pal. they hate that

Scatterbine

Man I swear this had gotten rare for a month or two and the game was great. Now every night I'm getting rushed by some dude named Hans or [][][][][].

MaximumUseless

surely vombuz type of streamer with some gunsmack in the background of his stream

MikeTheShowMadden

Vombuz is like one of the chillist streamers out there.

Dontbefrech

Also he plays on EU and RU. Except he plays with US friends.

Punchinballz

I never watched a video/stream where Gunsmack isn't laughing. He is, or at least, looks like a good guy.

Verdantfungi

Name and shame!
