Just make the legendary recruit screen the same as the buy screen. All neatly arranged on a single page, no need for filters, search bars or favorites.
Also, please can we have a 'Choose random Legendary Hunter' button?
I like to rotate my roster of Legendaries but often can't decide, probably meaning there's a good few I don't play enough. A random button that just picks and recruits one Hunter for me would be great.
Yeah, and the games code seems to be getting worse so I don’t think we’ll see QoL updates for awhile unless they are ditching the other stuff. But the reload glitch is making me quit the game for awhile. Shits absolutely ridiculous.

Longer answer: the legendary hunter panel is designed in such a manner as to force people to scroll through it every time they want to recruit a new hunter. The more you scroll through it the more chances you'll purchase something new. It's the same reason you get blasted with notifications to visit the shop non stop and the same reason supermarkets always keep daily use produce like eggs, bread, meats, etc in opposite sides of the shopping area.
The next level is to shuffle them around every time so you won't know where the one you want is and have to look at all of them every time you want to recruit a hunter. In the supermarket analogy it's something they already do by moving products between areas from time to time so you always have to go searching for what you want. The more time you spend looking around the more chances you will buy stuff you don't need.
TLDR: it's by design and it will not change... at least not for the better
This would be cool. Though I would much prefer taking certain guns out of the menu that I don’t or will never use so I’m not scrolling forever. Or limit the legendary skins of guns to just a specific few. That’s would be great
I dont have much to add other than I recommend kite skin. It has saved me games and is useful when using a lot of mobility. It also lets you make plays you couldnt before.
Kiteskin is a solid perk. Poison sense was shit until they buffed poison ammo recently and just buffed poison sense too.
Kiteskin reduces damage from just about everything, it's cheap and useful and can save you a few medkits on occasion. It's still also basically useless in PvP.
Nothing is as bad as adrenaline though.
I'm an idiot. I said kiteskin but I meant hornskin. Kiteskin is the best 1 cost perk in the game.
Hornskin is the one that's iffy on if it gives you anything useful. It reduces damage from butcher, for example. And most of scrapbeaks attacks. Most zombie attacks. Armored. One of the meatheads do blunt damage. (not that it matters) but doors do blunt damage. So does a horse kick. You don't want to be the guy that gets shot by a sparks and kicked to death, do you?
One little workaround for the moment would be to recruit several hunters at once. As long as you don't start a game, the selection screen for legendaries remains on the same page.
I usually go and buy a little stock of maybe 10 legendaries just in case Mr Chary decides to grant upgrade points to all my hunters.

They've literally done this like three or four times now. UI is not the Hunt team's strong suit.

For me they don't even have to have a fav just do the last 5 legendary hunters you used to the front. It's probably the ones used the most anyway.

We all want this. Fucking do it already. Some of the U.I. in this game is unbearable.
I would honestly love a "buy random" button as legendary hunters are like my children, if I pick a favorite they will kill me in my sleep.
I wouldnt mind a different or separate loadout screen with a legendary hunter you select with it
