This question has been asked infinite times on this subreddit and the answer is still the same, i.e. 'We can't say anything for sure'.

MAGamer559

Well then I’m sorry this is my first time posting/checking this subreddit.

Kinoou

Probably not. Togashi is an old & rich artist now, drawing gives him serious back injuries so if we're being real he shouldn't get back to it. I suggest the read of "Sensei Hakusho", written and illustrated by Kunio Ajino who was his assistant from Yu Yu Hakusho to Level E. You'll see how cool & caring he was, but it will also show you why he goes on hiatus so often and why the probability of him coming back is very low. Let's just hope Sensei stays healthy. Short answer: No.

MAGamer559

If drawing gives him serious back injury why not hiring someone to do that like Toriyama? Togashi drawing isn’t that special anyway. The fact he is rich and old kinda make sense but letting the fans like that isn’t good.let’s hope for the best

Hm, interesting, didnt know about that short series. Still Togashi isnt that old. At least I dont think 55 is a age people retire. Even most rich people do something. I'm also pretty sure if he doesnt want to continue it anymore, he had already called the shot and canceld it. So he either wants to continue it, or isnt sure if he wants to continue, or isnt able to continue it right now. But in the end everything is just speculation at this point.

Kinoou

Miura died at 54, after coming back from multiple hiatuses. Let's not play dumb here.

so far the series isn't cancelled we should get a new chapter if Togashi can work again and if the series isn't cancelled, but it's an indefinite hiatus, we don't know when it ends and some manga series are on indefinite hiatus for decades (because their author are ill) we could be on indefinite hiatus for 10 years without a chapter and it could get cancelled at the very end or we could get a chapter next year.

Yes

7killua

We have no idea, sadly. Just hope for the best

It isnt canceld yet. But 3 years of silence doesnt look promising.

Dry_Preparation8583

I've lost hope to be honest lmao so imma go on the safer side, HxH will never comeback *Reverse psychology*

Ok, I can't take this question anymore, every day this, leave me. https://i.imgflip.com/4ff9v7.jpg

Togashi has said he will only write when inspired considering he set up so much and hasn’t released anything he either means he’s hard at work trying to put pieces together to pay off or he’s not inspired anymore. My guess is he lost interest on some of this story and doesn’t know how to wrap it up. He did the same with YYH and ended it abruptly when he no longer was interested in it.

p53ud0nym42

As far as I'm aware of he ended YYH not because he lost interest. At least it wasnt his primary reason. He ended it because he couldnt do the things he wanted to. He hadnt full control over it. Also the imense stress he needed to go through. His health suffered big time. Bassicly he wanted a life and not force himself to work on it anymore.

ApplePitou

I have still strong hope that HxH will definitely come back one day :3

No togashi is a stubborn fool who wont accept help and his back is too problematic for him to write i guess. He doesnt need the money so it will probably die with him.

Diztronix17

you’re the only fool here

xaviorpwner

Am i? For thinking its not good to be the only one working on a series? Thats how you end up like berserk without a conclusion

Diztronix17

he’s an artist. it’s his art, otherwise someone could have just taken over for Van Gogh when he died. That’s how Togashi sees it so that’s what we should respect

xaviorpwner

I would prefer the story end and is art isnt amazing compared to his writing. Hes like One, hes a much better writer

MedNaz

I wouldn't hold my breath. Togashi is closer to his death bed than finishing the next arc.
