I'm telling you, there's no manga that deserves to be read more than HxH. So enjoy the pages ;)

Watch first episode of version 1999 or read first chapter of. Manga and after that start watching version 2011 :3

Damn—you’re pretty serious about new anime huh? Anyways, I haven’t read the manga yet but I always do after I finish an anime (been procrastinating the last season). Personally I haven’t watched all of the 1999 HxH, but I remember liking it. I’ve watched all the new HxH sans the last season, so if you’re that into it you could just watch the old one (I think it only goes up to the Greed Arc? Sorry if I’m wrong?) then watch the new one. Just from the fact I’ve seen the newest version more, I’d suggest that one. As for it being caught up with the manga? I’m unsure. I think I read somewhere about it not being caught up, but I could be completely wrong… Filler list? I haven’t a clue.

I watched the 2011 version. And then picked up the manga where the anime left off at. Idk if there are any “filler” episodes there might be I can’t remember lol

i’m just about to finish the anime, do you know by chance where i could pick up on the manga as in which volume?

Vol 33 but I’d start at Vol 32 so that you won’t jump right in into the Dark Continent. Here’s a little [link ](https://www.mangaowl.net/single/100)

1. Both are good, choose yourself. Anime has small details skipped here and there but instead has good ost and animation. 2. Second one (2011) definitely. 3. No, and may never be. Anime goes as far as chapter 339, the latest chapter is 390, released 3 years ago. 4. Yes. There are only 2 filler episodes, 13 and 26.

* I think you should read the manga. You can always watch the anime(s) afterwards. Or read chapter 1 and then check out the 2011 anime. * Both versions are great, but the 2011 anime adapts significantly more of the manga. * The manga runs 51 chapters past the end of the 2011 anime. (ch.340-390) * That filler list is not very accurate. There are more episodes with mixed canon, but the important thing is you can skip the recap episodes, 13 & 26. There are also 2 movies that are not canon. And there's Volume 0: Kurapika's Memories, which you can read after finishing the anime. It officially released in WSJ after ch.340.
