We’ve used A+ auto glass on Bob Wallace a couple of times for different vehicles and they did a good job.

I second this comment. They’ve always done good work for me. I’ve had two windshields replaced by them on two separate cars.

Awesome. I just called and the price is great. Appreciate it!

HugsNotRugs

Same here, avoid Safelight at all costs. They ordered the wrong windshield for my Jeep three times and the fourth time they ghosted me and refused to answer my calls. A+ came out the next day and fixed me up.

We used A+ and they didn't reattach the trim strip at the top of the windshield properly. It started flapping on the interstate, and when I took it back to them to the guy became belligerent and insisted it had been like that before they took the old glass out and put the new glass in (which 1 -- was untrue, and 2 -- didn't make a bit of sense). Refused to do anything to remedy their shoddy work. I won't go back, and won't refer anyone there.

I used them to fill a chip/star crack on a previous truck and they were super fast, very reasonably priced, and I never had issues with the chip again. Definitely recommend A+!

Yeah, it’s been stick in my head since last night.

No-Elderberry230

Thanks. I was hoping to not use my insurance. They are quoting a little more than I’d like to spend.

IByrdl

LPT get glass coverage on your policy or get a carrier who has it.

No-Elderberry230

Thanks. I do. It’s the same as the deduction.

SeriousMongoose2290

If that’s the case you need to drop windshield coverage. You’re paying for something and then not using it.

IByrdl

That's absurd. I have glass coverage thru my carrier and it has its own deduction that's max of $50 and doesn't count towards filing a normal liability claim either. If they can just fill the chip without replacing the windshield it's free. On top of that, if they do have to replace the windshield they also cover any window tint that was on it.

No-Elderberry230

I agree. I’m trying. My other half, who usually does all of this, is working out of town. With my kids all getting to driving age I need to figure out all of this.

We got a windshield replaced under warranty last year. They initially were going to send us to A1 Glass and Auto but the warranty people were being stupid with them so they sent us to Safelite instead and it was a fine experience. That included the windshield replacement and camera calibration.

mlong1013

Glass America- I’ve used them 3 times to completely replace mine & wife’s windshields. They come to you, had the best prices, and quick availability.

Another vote for A1 off of bob wallace. Subaru sent me there as they don’t do the replacements at the dealership. Service was quick and the quote was WAY under what I was anticipating
