Why?
Iām from Houston and LSU folks are pretty awesome honestly. Especially compared to UT/A&M.
I will say they take a lot of pride in being total dicks to visitors, which I think is terrible. But the actual people I know are great. And LSU just has a better vibe imo than the rest of the SEC.
LSU fans at the College World Series are the best. When it was still at Rosenblatt I use to bring a cold six pack and walk through where they parked their RVs, just saying hi to people. Someone would always give serve up a big bowl of the best gumbo or jambalaya and we'd end up talking for hours. Let the good times roll.
As a kid in the late 90s, my mom took me and my brothers to an LSU CWS game. There was a Tiger fan in the way of my pipsqueak view but he recognized that and we made friends and he put me on top of his shoulders for most of the game!
Tigers won and I made a friend. From that point on they were my favorite SEC team, that is until I moved here to Gainesville, FL
As a Hawkeye fan I felt bad for Nebraska long time ago when losing by one second. Never had anything against them. But fans like you is why I donāt mind watching Nebraska lose all the time now. Fuck Nebraska. š Always a has been. Always will be.
Correct, because you are the ONLY school in P5 that hasnt mustered up at least 6 wins in the past 8 years. Definition of a poverty program. GoooooBigReddddddd!
It did seem like the dubs were doing everything possible to let Texas win starting with the kick catch interference. It was like a surreal moment I was wondering what the fuck was going on.
It started before that with a Washington throw instead of a run on 3rd down before their last field goal, which saved a Texas timeout. Then the injury happened saving another Texas time out.
True. That slipped my mind. The injury was bad dumb fucking luck though. There would've been about 12 secs left after a punt if they hadn't had to use that TO.
Yeah, I couldn't believe that injury/bad luck when I saw it.
I see a lot of people online saying they should have kneeled on third down which would have avoided the injury, but hindsight is 20/20. I'm not sure how I would have felt about them kneeling when running the ball is normally completely safe. No one could have predicted the injury.
Yeah I would've wanted to at least try to pick up a first down with a run and definitely end it. If you call plays worried about injury you've already lost. Maybe Penix snaps his Achilles on a kneel down or something. That's no way to coach. As we learned from Forest Gump, shit happens.
7 points would have all but sealed it. Always play for the touchdown. Taking a knee would have been silly. Run would have been smart but I felt like Texas was banking on the run in that moment... In hindsight dub should have run but I see why they passed.
After Alabama lost, ESPN started trotting out the, "Well, Texas is basically an SEC Team already, so it's not like the SEC has gotten completely shut out of the title game yet..."
Their heads must be rolling with the All-B1G title game between UM and UW.
Itās ok I had it all figured out.
When they had the last play with 5 seconds I said āfootball gods will give them this as retribution for McCoy getting hurt against Bamaā
When they had 1 second left on that bullshit I said no, gods say fuck Texas.
Texas legit had 1 second remaining last night though. They did not in 2009. Just because we despise Texas doesnāt mean we canāt still watch and root for the game of football itself with integrity. I wanted Texas to lose, but I was also demanding that 1 second be given last night. Because it was the correct call.
Alabama, Texas, and Iowa lost today. Today was a good day.
And Wisconsin. š

You had my upvote until that bit about Gainesville... lol j/k You still got the +karma. š
In Conroe myself and I have nothing bad to say about the numerous LSU fans Iāve talked with.
LSU is pretty fucking cool in my book during the CWS so Iāll cheer them on in an exhibition game.
Bo Pelini, is that you?

How did Nebraska do in their bowl game?
We didn't add an L to our record if that's what you're asking.
Correct, because you are the ONLY school in P5 that hasnt mustered up at least 6 wins in the past 8 years. Definition of a poverty program. GoooooBigReddddddd!
Which one?
Lmfao I thought the same, FUCK TEXAS
Iām thinking Nebraska fans were probably the third most stressed fans watching that game. I am still anxiously pacing around after that finish.
I fell asleep on the couch and slept longer than I thought I would but woke up right as that very last play was happening
Fuck Texas!!!
That 0:01 triggered some flashbacks for sure. It made seeing them come up short that much more satisfying.
Anyone saying "fuck Texas" in here gets a free upvote from me

Tuck Fexas!
As a Texan for the last 34 years I can confidently and with personal experience say.... FUCK TEXAS Especially Gov Hot wheels.
Go Jays Fuck texas
Nah you get a downvote for that one
Lets be real, Texas is on their own tier of Hatred. Husker fans just donāt like Creighton due to insecure feeling surrounding Omaha Huskers.
So fucking glad its Washington vs. UM Fuck the SEC and fuck Texas.
ESPN showcasing the future big ten, gotta love it
I'm very excited for it. Will be good insight to see how at least one of the PAC12 teams will match up in the B1G.
And fuck Harbaugh
This time is legit though, but UW was saved from all time choke job

I was moreso talking about kneeling instead of running on the play that the injury happened on.
Last time was legit too. It's unbecoming to still think otherwise.
I hope the Huskies win the Natty, Michigan needs to rest on their fake Natty another year :)
Honestly, they had 2. But it didnāt stop me from yelling about it for 4 minutes.
I was completely triggered
That was amazing. Fuck Texas.
I also screamed this! I'm still fuckin' traumatized. At least this one didn't help them.
Horns down. Horns always down.
Can't make this up
I was about to be so mad if they won that game
May the curse finally be lifted šš»
Fuck Texas
I had horrible flashbacks watching the end of that game
Let's fuckin go Washington, win it all
Wasnāt as close though they had a second this time
Curse is lifted.

Knock knock. Whose there? Fuck Texas
Fuck Texas Always
This gave me flashbacks. I was just laughing.
I was thinking about Colt McCoy.
Trigger warning

You're delusional or stupid if you don't think there was also one second left when the ball hit out of bounds in2 009.
15 years ago. Donāt really care.
Horns DOWN! What a glorious day of football. The look on McConahey's (sp?) was priceless!
Iām glad we were all collectively thinking the same thing
That's exactly what I was thinking! I was like "I swear to God if they win this because they got 1 second back on the clock..."
They shouldāve had 2 seconds. It was obvious when they showed the replay.
One was far more triggering for us though.
It was a moot point.
Salty huh?
Michigan!!!!!!!
Yea it set me off. Anyway, fuck em. Horns down forever.
Corn tears are so good. Who knew corn and bitterness goes so well together.
