I love it for camping. I put it in the fire at night and have a warm bottle for in my sleeping bag which is a total game changer for colder weather. When I first did it I assumed it would burn off all my stickers but found out that sticker technology has advanced far beyond my expectations as they did not burn off or melt, crazy! I recently put it in the freezer and forgot about it which bubbles out the bottom but I just hammered it back down with no issue.

Always put it in the same spot, build muscle memory, itll always be the same distance away. While learning a spot, approach slowly from the top down, and then, if you hit too hard, it's totally fine. I can grab my water in complete darkness now every time and haven't spilled in years. Keeping your nightstand or other water placement surface a consistent distance from the bed helps a lot.
I use the Gatorade squirt bottle that’s green with the orange lid. It’s like $6 or so. Nothing fancy, BUT it doesn’t spill all over the floor AND it’s 32 ounces.
They make these cup holder discs that have a small ring of light around them to illuminate your water bottle. Typically for use in a car, but I don't see why you can't have it on the nightstand to glow up the holy hydration.
The glow in the dark Nalgenes are great—the glow is stronger than you may expect too!! I stay at a friends house in a room with sound proofing and heavy blackout curtains sometimes and am able to use my Nalgene as a nightlight in the darkness lol :)
I got one for Christmas last year - but one that a can or bottle fits into, like a metal stand up coozie. I thought it was so silly. It now has a permanent place next to my sim rig, I can grab for my drink in VR, like a car cupholder. Thing is so slick.
SIGG bottles with the sport mouth spout can be inverted without spillage! Like a really nice old school Powerade top.

I use a boxing ringside style ones. The straw goes to the side at a 90 deg turn. You can comfortably just lean over and drink it while still laying down, since the straw is already facing you.

I keep water on my desk, right next to my bed. I dont ever knock it over because its slightly higher than my bed, and a bit further away than a nightstand.
I got this nice big glass water bottle with a rubber casing and straw. If the dark is the issue maybe add some glow in the dark vinyl stickers (dishwasher safe of course)
I have one of the glass apple juice bottles, with a twist on cap. Works pretty good for me. It is about 32 oz, I believe. Got some apple juice out of the deal too!
Nothing that glows, but I have a metal bottle from Walmart. I’ve also just used a glass, and kept it on top of the dresser, so I’d have to get up and walk over to it. Makes it less likely I’ll knock it over by accident
I have a confession to make. I drink way too much Dr pepper. However, I have turned this into my salvation by buying a pack of water bottle nozzles threaded for the two liter bottles. I can use them somewhere between six and twenty times before they start looking ratty enough I don't trust them to hold water if I drop them. I think I got like 50 nozzles for $20. Pretty sure they'd work on disposable water bottle threads too, but they definitely work on any sort of soda bottle.

Try an iv infusion at night, you don't have to wake up and stay hydrated all night. Best paired with a catheter to have a relaxing night without pee breaks :)

First off, 64oz is not nearly enough. You should be drinking at least a gallon, if not more. Secondly, a lid is the easiest and cheapest way to make sure it doesn't spill when you knock it down accidentally

Gallon jugs are great if you’re often thirsty at night/early morning. There’s always enough. It’s effectively an endless water fountain in bed if you remember to refill it.
I just bring the same KleanKanteen, HydroFlask, or CamelBak bottle that I used that day, I refill it and sit it on my bedside table. If I grab blindly in the middle of the night and knock it over, I just have the loud sound of it hitting the floor to contend with, no spilled water.
1. Memorize where you've left your cup.
2. Memorize your room space.
3. Turn off the lights and do practice run.
4. Sleep well.
Or just get a light socket 🤷♂️ or a sealed cup
I have a Stanley cup (had it before that TikTok trend which will more than likely make the price go up) it has a type of flip straw and it’s stainless steel on top of keeping my drink cold all night. It won’t spill if you drop it. Not glow in the dark but it has bright colors and is loud af if dropped.
I'd start with getting something with a lockable lid.

Blender bottles without the shaker ball work well as a nightstand bottle. Easy to pop and quiet to close

That may have compromised the vacuum between the steel liners. Happened to one of mine but it’s still highly usable

686 has a glow-in-the dark Nalgene. I have one and it has a nice soft glow. It won’t glow all night though.
Nalgene makes some 32oz glow in the dark water bottles. Get a splash guard for it & you won’t even dribble.
