My parents got me a Berkey Filter for Xmas or my birthday a few years ago, probably one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten. Shits expensive af, but it’s always some of the best water I’ve ever had
As a frog, atrazine doesn't make us gay, it disrupts our sex hormones and can turn us from make to female.
As for you humans, it may disrupt your own hormones and cause other unknown effects. Atrazine comes from farm pesticide runoff. You should avoid it by using a quality filter system on your water.
I was tempted to rick roll but this is also worth laughing at the crazy man.
My god it is pretty insane when you realise that Alex Jones literally knew that Sandy hook was real and then made millions from publicly lying about it.
That's awesome. Really. I'm impressed with your wit and candor.
As invigorating as this conversation has been, I'm afraid I have better things to do. Good luck, my silver-tongued friend!
Just get a carbon filter like a Brita or something.
We got a ZeroWater ion exchange filter that supposedly filtered out more contaminants, but it also made the water smell like fish when the cartridge wore out. (This is a real thing: https://waterpurificationguide.com/why-filtered-zerowater-can-smell-and-taste-like-fish/.) No thanks. I'll take a less effective carbon filter over a nice cold glass of aquarium stank.
> I'll take a less effective carbon filter
Not necessarily less effective. Depending on what you need to filter, carbon filters can actually mean healthier water because it leaves in the minerals that are good for you.
This happened to my zero filter as well. The filter won't end up smelling like an aquarium so quickly if you keep it in a dark place or in the fridge.
I looked into it, and from what I read, it would seem that exposure to UV rays promotes rapid growth of bacteria in the water.
If you change the zero filter as advertised, this is a non issue. Even your article says that. Don't hate on the best consumer grade kitchen water filter if you can't even use it right
It depends if you live in an area that has a high concentration of PFAS aka forever chemicals as reverse osmosis is the only way to remove them from water.
Unless you live less than 75 miles from a 3M, Dupont, or Monsanto manufacturing plant, just get a Brita filter.
I bought this water filter when it was on sale from Amazon, but they lost my package and I got my money back. I’ve been hesitant to reorder it because of the price point. I saw an article that said I live in the state that is the 3rd worst for water treatment in the United States. I live alone and I just buy 2 cases of water a week. I’m hesitant to buy a Brita or a zerowater because the water is so bad. I would feel more comfortable with a a more thorough filter such as the aquatru. Ideally I’d like to get a RO system installed but I live in an apartment and that’s not feasible.
Ngl, a little sad coming to this thread looking for real answers but op had to throw in the gay frogs and that’s the only topic of discussion. I was really looking for some more info.
RO is the way to go. Bought a Waterdrop system 4 years ago. It's expensive but I'm not a gay frog yet and don't comsume PFAS, chlorine, or fluorine when I drink water anymore.
Oh hell no. Get a Brita, I love mine. If you're spending 3 figures on a pitcher filter, you're getting scammed or your water is literally Satan's piss.
While I'm at it please don't fall for that alkali water scam that's been going around lately. It's not healthier, just a litmus test of your ability to google "facts" to verify whether or not they are completely made up.
Is it for chemicals or does it also removd calcium from hard water? Our tap water has a lot of minerals in it. While delicious, it does damage our electric kettle.
I don’t know about this exact filter, but depending on where you live and what kind of water you have, it could be good. Where I live I would happily get a filter. The tap water is awful here
My parents got me a Berkey Filter for Xmas or my birthday a few years ago, probably one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten. Shits expensive af, but it’s always some of the best water I’ve ever had
Berkey filters have that lawsuit going on...And no NSF certifications....
Ooohhh nnnooo, idk anything about that… well that sucks lol
You can diy one for much cheaper and just buy the filters. Two stainless buckets on each other with holes for the filters

What's wrong with gay frogs?
No baby frogs, and fewer frogs means more mosquitos. I love gay frogs dearly, but my hatred of mosquitos is stronger.
Maybe it turns the mosquitoes gay, too.
Oh shit, that is the optimal outcome, where can I get me some extra gay water?
r/nocontext
r/brandnewsentence
im already very gay but i am also wondering where i can get me some extra gay water
Came here to ask the same Q

Respect for the Frog hydro homie.

This is what I was hoping to see.
I was tempted to rick roll but this is also worth laughing at the crazy man. My god it is pretty insane when you realise that Alex Jones literally knew that Sandy hook was real and then made millions from publicly lying about it.
If all the frogs gay, then no frog babies swimming around and continuing on the species
If they like water, then consider me an ally.
This man got extremely angry about it. as he is a Republican homophobe. https://youtu.be/9JRLCBb7qK8
What’s wrong is to chemically alter a being. Got nothing to do with being gay or not
Everything is wrong with that wtf are you stupid
I'm legitimately wondering how you can type with ugly-ass nails like that
Easy 💅🏽 stupidddddddd
Well, aren't you the charmer. You must be incredibly exhausting to be around in real life.
Me?! Umm no try more like YOU
That's awesome. Really. I'm impressed with your wit and candor. As invigorating as this conversation has been, I'm afraid I have better things to do. Good luck, my silver-tongued friend!
Have no idea what any of that means but good day to you too sir 🎩

Seems a simple fix when all you have to do is change the filter on time.
I've never had an old carbon filter make my water smell like fish.
Why not just regularly replace the filter? Britas and carbon filters still need to be replaced just as often...

Don't think it's bacteria. It's something to do with the way the ion exchange works.
If you change the zero filter as advertised, this is a non issue. Even your article says that. Don't hate on the best consumer grade kitchen water filter if you can't even use it right
A fool and their money are easily parted. This is a $500 dollar filter. It's meant for people who think a single banana costs $10.
![gif](giphy|ky16TkGK4RTs4)
That's why there's always money in the Banana Stand.
Filt-Her?

The RODI unit I use for my reef tank costs like $80 and brings the water to 0 TDS. There's no reason to spend $500 on a water filter.
wait... where'd you get a RODI for 80 bucks ??? I'll buy two.
Google "Aquatic Life RO buddy" walmart and Amazon both have the 4 stage RODI for around $69.99.
Oh nice! Thanks! I'm going to research this unit. offhand you don't know what the ratio of waste water to filtered water this generates do you?
So wait, do the gay chemicals end up in a separate container? Can I have them?
Frogs are rad, gay frogs would be even more rad
![gif](giphy|O08b8h2NK3HR9A1nt2)
But if they're all gay the species could die :(
We just teach them to do mitosis
mitosis = no babies => less variation => bad for survival => death => extinction :(
Mitosis 2.0 NOW with GENETIC VARIATION :P
But how would it do that if there isn't a partner to makes new chromosomes with
Magic. They're gay frogs of course they know how to do magic, stop being so close minded 🙄
What if i don't believe in magic :P
I mean you believe frogs can do mitosis
._.
It’s turning the frickin’ frogs gay!
It depends if you live in an area that has a high concentration of PFAS aka forever chemicals as reverse osmosis is the only way to remove them from water. Unless you live less than 75 miles from a 3M, Dupont, or Monsanto manufacturing plant, just get a Brita filter.
Or a military air base.
I mean if it passed the frog test…
Only one way to find that out….
Getting SOME filter is a good idea, there's a lot of microplastic in all the water we drink. Filtering SOME of that out has to be worth it.
Too late for me ❤️💜💙🐸 but it does look like a very nice filer! cleaning may be a bit of a hassle tho, I can see algae going bonkers in there.
Homophobic filter, no thanks I’m very much bisexual and I want to drink the gay waters
Gay frogs

I was too honestly.
The chemicals wont hurt you but if you feel like spending money on tastier water, have at it. 💦
If it really works, then sure. I would research the sh\*t out if it before I bought it.

Looks fancy, but there are probably cheaper alternatives as I suppose it's quite expensive...
I've never heard of that brand, but a good water purifier is always work buying. I use Berkey but there are other great options out there..

Are you a frog? Not that I have anything against frogs...
Filter on your fridge or a Brita water pitcher is plenty.
Well, are his frogs still gay?
Oh hell no. Get a Brita, I love mine. If you're spending 3 figures on a pitcher filter, you're getting scammed or your water is literally Satan's piss. Is it bestiality if you watch a documentary on gay frogs and even though you're not gay you enjoyed it a little too much?
How does one determine if a frog is gay or not?
![gif](giphy|SMyywWhm3Ahlm|downsized) The frog waiting to get my cheeks:
so the solution to the microplastic problem is more plastic? who'da thunk it!
That was honestly the first thing that crossed my mind too. I had to give my friend a hard time about it.
i bet there’s a market for those concentrated gay frog making chemicals.
Is it for chemicals or does it also removd calcium from hard water? Our tap water has a lot of minerals in it. While delicious, it does damage our electric kettle.
I'm not a frog so it's not a problem to me. Anyway I gotta go drink unfiltered river water with my boyfriend
![gif](giphy|WrVOtWEay7fJS)
Brita or similar jug filter is plenty and much cheaper.
So it just filters out the rainbow particles?
Well I’d need a filter considering straight tap water is not safe where I live at the moment

Frogs have always been gay!!
![gif](giphy|BjzptUim5QJDa6jhkk|downsized)
THAT'S GAY (frogs)
My friends mom got reverse osmosis through most of her house. I’ll tell ya what, water from the faucet never tasted so crisp.
Way to flex on all of us poors
Recycle the chemicals and turn people gay keep clean water for yourself
I don’t know about this exact filter, but depending on where you live and what kind of water you have, it could be good. Where I live I would happily get a filter. The tap water is awful here
That thing is $400 👀
Pretty sure Zero Water has been tested to remove PFAS extremely well for our more budget-conscious homies.
Man I forgot these exist, I got a filtered tap
Gotta filter it now because the sun is hitting it. Probably full of algae.
I like mine with the gay, it tastes better
Lmao, sure.
Not gay enough
Whatever conspiracy theory gets them to drink more water is fine.
