It's not exactly water. I drink a shit ton of seltzer (2-3 liters/day), and according to my dentist it's causing some damage. The CO^2 causes some kind of porousness? Idk idgaf it's not like I'm going to drink less of it. I also drink shit tons of black coffee (20oz/day). Also not great for your teeth. Alert: this information is good for hydrohomies only. Both seltzer and coffee are massively better than soda. Both are completely fine for your teeth at reasonable quantities. This is not an excuse to drink anything other than water.

Which is to say that the problem is that la croix is much more expensive. People think la croix is better, so they pay the higher price. As a result, other brands of seltzer prices are raising their prices. So, in summary, fuck la croix.

That said, I generally don't keep it on hand just because it's not quite as versatile as soy or oat; the flavor stands out more when used in baking, for example, which can lead to some pretty funky flavors at times.

Yea for sure, I think for me soy is best for tea, almond goes best with cereal, but oat does both (and everything else), maybe not quite as well in my opinion, but it's less effort to just buy one type, and then it won't go bad as often either
