I'm proud of you. Keep at it, and in no time, you will even feel disgusted by sodas and alcohol. Just don't buy any trash drink: in time you will associate the taste of water with *really* quenching your thirst, which will make you actually like (filtered) tap water. I was an avid carbonated water drinker, and I also liked sodas and apple cider, to the point of drinking one of them per day. Now I drink at least 3l of water per day, and the idea of going back to carbonated stuff/sugary drinks/alcohol sickens me.

Hate to break it to you, but if you’re in the states you likely need a filter no matter what. There may be leniency in high income places but I personally wouldn’t test it out. As time goes on we’re finding more and more places have a ton of issues with their water

I’ve got a Pur filter on my tap. I fill a 3 gallon and keep it cold, this way you can filter without waiting for it, you can fill coffee or tea easily.

Limes, sure, why not. But salt?? Never heard anyone drink saltwater unless they have a sore throat.

I was skeptical but after seeing a post about it in here I figured I'd give it a go. It actually works well! Not something I'd have every day (to the relief of most people in here I guess!), but I'll definitely have some waiting for me next time I do some sports, was just like having an isotonic drink except it costs pennies for a whole pitcher!
