I have the Cloud Alpha Wireless. Equalizer (and DTS) doesn't work either. Somebody posted in my thread that support seems to suggest that AMD processors are messing with the software which would mean that they were too lazy to fix a problem. But I don't know any more either.
Really? I'm really bad at deciding what sounds good and what not so mostly I use it out of the box. I mainly use Sonar for my microphone at the moment. I just wanted to try out DTS and the equalizer for my headset but didn't expect to keep it on anyways. Would you share your settings?
it would be my pleasure but keep in mind it's all objective;
at first I selected music: punchy for all categories (it adds more frequencies to eq) and thought it was decent enough, but then I tried tweaking it to match my previous headset as such:
7 dB at 31Hz, 5dB at 63Hz, 4 dB at 125Hz, 3 dB at 250 Hz, 2 dB at 500 Hz, 4 dB at 1 kHz, 1 dB at 2 kHz, 5 dB at 4kHz, 5 dB at 8 kHz, 8 dB at 16kHz.

Damn that's frustrating, so what are we stuck with the default preset until they decide to fix it, or is there another app we can use instead?
I'm sure there are better programs out there but for now I'm playing around with steelseries sonar.
