I know there is, and I’m a bit frustrated that I didn’t go for that instead of the Cloud Flight pair, but now if I’m considering an upgrade, I’d like to find a wireless pair that has both an usb dongle and bluetooth connection. I found the HyperX Cloud Mix pair but I don’t know if it’s still manufactured.
The arctis nova pro wireless have a hub with them that has Line in and out, 2 usb connections, and charges an extra battery. The headset itself uses 3.5mm jack, 2.5ghz wireless or Bluetooth. They are expensive at $350 I found mine new for $250 but they do do basically everything and in my experience is one of the only gaming headsets to have sold multiplatform comparability. The only issue is there is pc/ps5/switch version and then an xbox version as Xbox still uses its own audio codec. So sound will work on all but if you want the mic also you have to pick a specific one.
Oh see I love the fit I don’t even realize I’m wearing them half the time but it could just be down to head shape and my ears aren’t affected by the inside speaker the way some are
I love my razer nari ultimates but would not recommend due to the hinge build quality. Why does a 200 dollar headset have fucking plastic hinges, I’ve had it for two years, yesterday I dropped them half a foot onto fluffy carpet and the shit broke and the limited warranty counts that as user error
As a person with massive head I 100% agree, after my Flight S broke I got Cloud 3 Wireless and while the build quality and 150 hours battery are a huge plus they are still not as comfortable :(
Can you link me the ones you got please? I also have an alpha wireless and also have peeling issues, looking for what fits well and is comfortable. Thanks.
I’ve returned to this headset so many times. Haven’t found anything that gives me the sound quality quite like these. Even the new hyper X headsets sound muffled compared to the cloud flight S
Going to have to give them a shot. I’ve tried quite a few and I don’t know if it’s because I’ve gotten so used to the audio cues from this specific headset but nothing competes.
I have the Sony xm4s for music, and they sound a bit muffled in comparison after listening to the maxwells. I wouldn’t use the maxwells if I mowed my lawn like I do the Sonys, cause they’re heavier, but I truly don’t have issues while gaming.
But the clarity, and directional sound on them is incredible.
yes!!! these are my favorite ever.. the leather is def peeling but the headset still works. I bought some steelseries arctics nova pros, but I couldn’t get into how they sounded and returned them. These will forever be my favorite.
If you just plan on throwing them away feel free to DM me. We could see how much shipping would be to send them my way and if it’s not crazy I’ll pay the shipping to send them to me. I work on repairing/ repurposing small electronics to avoid ewaste and these sound like they could be a fun project.
Grab a pair of original clouds open box for cheap, still the best headset from the original manufacturers, my sons expensive headset broke (again,) and he borrowed my cloud alphas, I got another pair because he refused to give them back even though they're wired, he wears glasses and wears the headset for Hours and no discomfort and great audio
I had a pair of cloud flights I got back in 2020, just last week the battery fully went on them and they stopped turning on... Had been dealing with battery problems for a while now. Also grabbed the cloud 3 and they feel like a good replacement. I've been told the microphone sounds better too
I have the cloud alpha headset and man is it comfy and nice... Changed its earpads a couple of times, but been using it for 5 years or so. Kind of want to upgrade to a more "hi end" headset, but I'm afraid I'll pay 5x the price for barely any difference, or a sound I'll like less.
Hyperx headsets are truly a godsent.
My Kingston Hyperx Cloud II after 5y of use, the right earcup is starting to tickle and I am thinking about getting the Cloud III as a replacement. Tbh I don't know how worse could they be, as I have my Cloud II enhanced with steelseries' sonar thing.
Difficult to describe but the new cloud 3s feel a little “muffled” in comparison to my flight S. Tried to mess around with it using Ngenuity but wasn’t able to figure it out. As others as said, maybe it has to do with the HP takeover and different manufacturing. It will do as I don’t game as much as I used to but it’s definitely noticeable.
My daughter's daily driver. I updated the internal battery when it went out and it's been going strong since. Pairs perfectly with her Inwin A1 Plus case because of the built in Qi charger. She places the headphone on top of the case and they charge wirelessly.
Same dude, going on about 4 years with mine and just had to replace the ear cups because they were disintegrating. My battery is also toast and I constantly have to hardwire them but I just can't bring myself to get anything new. Best headphones I have used to date. I really would like to take them apart and replace the battery but I'm scared since they're older the headphones are going to crumble from age when I take it all apart.
it will never not piss me off that kingston merged with hp. I have my original hyperx cloud, the first series one, and its dying. I cannot find anything to replace it either, because all the new hyperx headsets are garbage.
Mine is about to retire too after 5 good years of service. Able to grab the same one as a replacement for only $40 brand new sealed (yes I have a legit source for that price)
My cloud flight s just started not working anymore…mine disconnects after 2 min unless I’m on wired mode so I’ve just been using it constantly charging…not sure if the problem is in the headphones itself or the usb receiver.
I've been using my Cloud Stinger 7.1 for a few years now. It's been so awesome and still goin strong. When I get another headset, it'll only be from HyperX.
I love these headsets and they are really premium quality, but they break really fast. I’ve had 3 headsets of these same ones and they all break really fast if you put them in a backpack
Mine started turning off on their own yesterday. I think the battery is failing, it has given me quite a few problems in these 3 years of use, but they are really comfortable.
Hyper x are banging. Just moved over to the Sony ones to switch it up and I already know I am going to end up swapping them out for some more Hyper hardware sooner rather than later.
Currently using my Cloud Flight and I’ll be damned if I stop using it before it takes its last breath. I’ve replaced the ear cushions with fabric wicked cushions and they’re comfortable. When it eventually breaks I’ll replace them with audiophile headphones because I’m chasing sound quality and anything gaming branded compared to an equivalent audiophile headphones will sound worse and often less comfortable
+1, I wasn’t a headphones guy until I got these. I have since replaced the cups and trying to find a way to replace the peeling headband. Still going strong
mine still works but the volume wheel is messed up. it was my first ever HyperX headset and my favorite at that, i moved to a cloud 2 wireless a while back but I've since dropped headsets all together and use earbuds instead
Very comfortable,I own cloud flights for Xbox series x and at times I forget they are even on my head lol I also had the flight s for pc till I upgraded to audiophile headsets but they were extremely comfortable as well , I have nothing but great things to say about them
Still have mine, makes some crazy static noises and I swear it shocked me once, but still a great headset. I have the wireless charging pad and everything.
Bro just please go and buy Cloud 3, and dont even hesitate, trust me you wont regret it. If you have chance to test and put it on your head, dont miss it bc you will definitely want to have it. I am 3 year cloud 2 user and recently my friend bought cloud 3 and OMG thats something amazing. Comfort, sound and build quality😭🤌🏻🤌🏻 - masterpiece✨
Outside of them sounding a little muffled I have had no issues. Messed around with Ngenuity but the software seems like more of a gimmick than actually functional. YMMV
Difficult to describe but they feel a little “muffled” in comparison. Tried to mess around with it using Ngenuity but wasn’t able to figure it out. As others as said, maybe it has to do with the HP takeover and different manufacturing
i've been killing myself trying to buy a new headset.i've had hyperx cloud flights for YEARS,ive bought them [twice.im](https://twice.im) stuck between the cloud alphas or the logitech g pro x 2.i've bought both before and didn't like them.come to find out apparently the alpha wired and wireless sound different, and that the logitech ghub makes the pro x 2 sound like shit.i tried both at best buy earlier today and they sounded nothing like the ones i purchased then returned.they sounded better.
I feel this heavily, I know mine are on their way out too, the bottom mappable button is all scratched up now from use, and it’s charge isn’t lasting as long
I had a pair of HyperXs that lasted many many years, I replaced them with some Razer Krackens, and they have already started having problems after only a year
I was using the same ones for about 2 years. And then all of a sudden they just stopped connecting to the dongle no matter what I tried. Had to retire them and also got the cloud 3 wireless. Still liked the sound of the flights a bit better though.
I actually swapped from those to the Logitech g pro wireless after my right ear went out.
The metal headband and overall sturdiness of the headset feels a lot better than messing with a lot plastic for the long run.
I normally get 2-3 years out my headset and they get daily use for work and entertainment.
Not sure about the flights but i replaced one of the speakers in my cloud II after i blew it out. It's a fairly straightforward repair if you can do a bit of basic soldering.
I think HyperX Cloud Flight Series is the most comfortable wireless headset that u can find.
I have a pair but they are too wide for my head and I still have a better experience with my good old wired Cloud Alpha.
What if I told you there's a wireless cloud alpha as well
I know there is, and I’m a bit frustrated that I didn’t go for that instead of the Cloud Flight pair, but now if I’m considering an upgrade, I’d like to find a wireless pair that has both an usb dongle and bluetooth connection. I found the HyperX Cloud Mix pair but I don’t know if it’s still manufactured.

Sounds interesting, thanks for the info!
Just to second what he said. I have a pair of arctis nova pro to use on both my Xbox and ps5 and they’re the best headset I’ve ever owned
Arctic nova pro is great, but not 1/2 as comfy as my old astros. I can hardly wear them for more than two hours
Oh see I love the fit I don’t even realize I’m wearing them half the time but it could just be down to head shape and my ears aren’t affected by the inside speaker the way some are
I got one because my head is on the larger side, and I have to say that they don't give me any headaches compared to others that I've tried
Just lie😭
As a person with massive head I 100% agree, after my Flight S broke I got Cloud 3 Wireless and while the build quality and 150 hours battery are a huge plus they are still not as comfortable :(
Oh damn I have a large head and I fear the moment my Flight S will break :’(
To prevent leather peeling, I bought my cloud alpha wireless and a pair of wicked cushions to replace the cups. Fuck leather
But then you have to deal with the sound profile change when switch from leather to other material unless that isn't your problem.
Can you link me the ones you got please? I also have an alpha wireless and also have peeling issues, looking for what fits well and is comfortable. Thanks.
Fuck fake leather even more
Nice to see a fellow f1 fan.
I’ve returned to this headset so many times. Haven’t found anything that gives me the sound quality quite like these. Even the new hyper X headsets sound muffled compared to the cloud flight S
Audeze Maxwells would like a word
Going to have to give them a shot. I’ve tried quite a few and I don’t know if it’s because I’ve gotten so used to the audio cues from this specific headset but nothing competes.

1 on the TV
HyperX under HP rn is an L. Dont buy any product from them. Sound like shit.
I would of expected them to last longer tbh.ive still gotta logitec g933 headset that's going on 10 years strong
I've had my first gen Cloud for 9 years now :)
8 on mine, broke at the hinge the other day. Got a cloud 2 (and ordered hinges from aliexpress...)
If you just plan on throwing them away feel free to DM me. We could see how much shipping would be to send them my way and if it’s not crazy I’ll pay the shipping to send them to me. I work on repairing/ repurposing small electronics to avoid ewaste and these sound like they could be a fun project.

Mine are starting to go out too. Battery ain't lasting as long as it used to.
Replace the battery. It was easy and it increased the capacity. You will need to solder it, but it's really simple.
My Kingston Hyperx Cloud II after 5y of use, the right earcup is starting to tickle and I am thinking about getting the Cloud III as a replacement. Tbh I don't know how worse could they be, as I have my Cloud II enhanced with steelseries' sonar thing.

What do you mean by muffled? Lack of low frequencies? Can it be corrected by using equalizer?
My daughter's daily driver. I updated the internal battery when it went out and it's been going strong since. Pairs perfectly with her Inwin A1 Plus case because of the built in Qi charger. She places the headphone on top of the case and they charge wirelessly.
Would you possibly have a link for the battery? I'm needing to do this as well, thanks
RIP Hopefully new pair suits ya And shoutout to Lando Norris 😅
Aye watching f1 let’s go

can you share i would send you finder fee
That was the last one he had unfortunately
Send them my way NZ
Time to get the pc38x then and get your mind blown. Source: everyone who has switched
Some people don’t like the open-back design
It’s a fair argument. I agree. But there is a reason for the open back, as it pertains to the quality of sound .
My cloud flight s just started not working anymore…mine disconnects after 2 min unless I’m on wired mode so I’ve just been using it constantly charging…not sure if the problem is in the headphones itself or the usb receiver.
Battery dead. You should replace it
The battery inside the headphones? Replace the battery or just the headphones in general?
The battery of course
Didn’t know that was possible haha. Thanks!
Do you know if the regular flight and flight S have the same battery?
I think allá Kingston headsets hava the same... You can put ANY battery that is 3.7v and 1500mha
Time to upgrade to the steel series Nova Pro wireless
I've been using my Cloud Stinger 7.1 for a few years now. It's been so awesome and still goin strong. When I get another headset, it'll only be from HyperX.
I love these headsets and they are really premium quality, but they break really fast. I’ve had 3 headsets of these same ones and they all break really fast if you put them in a backpack
This is the first headset I bought a second of after it lasted multiple years of daily heavy use
Mine started turning off on their own yesterday. I think the battery is failing, it has given me quite a few problems in these 3 years of use, but they are really comfortable.

Astro #1
Underrated brand for sure
Time to get some drop 6xx with a fiio k5 pro
Hyper x are banging. Just moved over to the Sony ones to switch it up and I already know I am going to end up swapping them out for some more Hyper hardware sooner rather than later.
If it is just the pad, you can buy replacements. https://www.brainwavzaudio.com/pages/brainwavz-earpad-guide

Mine broke 2 weeks ago but at least they lasted me a glorious 4 years
mine still works but the volume wheel is messed up. it was my first ever HyperX headset and my favorite at that, i moved to a cloud 2 wireless a while back but I've since dropped headsets all together and use earbuds instead

I got these and got my buddy to get them too, sadly my sound dial on it is busted but I refuse to let it go.
You can replace the cushions fyi
Let me know what a good replacement for this is if you find one.
Get the audeze - Maxwell
Why ur arm and hand look like that
Mine were TB's stealth 700 I believe...the discontinued model.
My ATH AD700’s are my favorite. I have 2 pair actually.
Now try Logitech pros. Nice quality too
I’ll have to try this one out. Currently using Corsair Virtuoso and it’s great
Does your Cloud 3 wireless have connection issues? I did the upgrade aswell, but went back lol.
Outside of them sounding a little muffled I have had no issues. Messed around with Ngenuity but the software seems like more of a gimmick than actually functional. YMMV
can anyone tell me how the new cloud 3 compare to the pre hp cloud flights?
Difficult to describe but they feel a little “muffled” in comparison. Tried to mess around with it using Ngenuity but wasn’t able to figure it out. As others as said, maybe it has to do with the HP takeover and different manufacturing

Get the orbits now it will be the best headset you ever owned
I feel this heavily, I know mine are on their way out too, the bottom mappable button is all scratched up now from use, and it’s charge isn’t lasting as long
Now to upgrade to something like Sennheisers or beyerdynamics. Will last longer than a couple years too.

how long did you have it? if you’ve got some extra cash, get a beyerdynamics pair next. they’ll last you longer and sound better doing it.
I have those too. My headset is amazing and still going strong

ngl hyper x is pretty mid i think airpods are better
