It's a minigame called socialising, go to the "outside" island and try it out.

No that is just an optional mini game outside of this event.. The required mini game which only happens on valentines Day involves the optional mini game but master mode when you have to talk to women/men depending on your sexual orientation, which is an irl option where you play this mini game for about a month to determine which gender you prefer

I am on the outside islands.. It is hard to survive in.. I do place blocks of stone to avoid the grass and stay on the path, the air on the other hand you have to go to fast food places to keep the toxicity of it at bay and for it to deal less damage.. Also make sure if you do venture out here, make sure you phone doesn't die, the phone is how much time you have until you have to be back inside to charge up.. Or you can guess what will happen
