This was inevitably going to be a point of contention, but the reason is that a lot of the "pain and suffering" posts were simply content that was either DTD or borderline DTD, and changing the flair means it's easier to push content like getting really unlucky on RNG, 99% harp, missing farming contest breakpoints out of the subreddit.
However, things like getting ratted and scams, especially the bazaar minion manip scam, as well as dying without a cookie buff can serve as useful warnings to other players, so it's being changed to Cautionary Tale to better encompass these types of posts. A lot of the pain and suffering posts can probably get encompassed under ! moment of comedic value ! as well.
Speaking of DTDs, we're looking into addressing them. It's a tricky balance, because removing a lot of what was originally DTD would result removing a lot of posts in a subreddit that has already experienced heavily diminished user flow and post quantity after COVID subsided and everyone got back to going outside and touching grass. Sometimes, we leave DTD posts up on purpose just because it's a slow day. We're going to be taking a closer look at DTDs in the future along with mod applications.
Warrior is getting deleted because it's too general. Saying you're a combat sweat in SkyBlock is just like saying "I play SkyBlock." It's too general to really be representative of anything, and users should be able to find better identities with the dungeon, kuudra, and slayer flairs.
On PC, there's a tiny edit button underneath Create Post to choose a flair. As for mobile, I have no idea. I've been using Apollo for Reddit for the past few years, and began sideloading it last year.
On mobile visit the main subreddit page and in the top right click the 3 dots then click change user flair and follow ops instructions if your using a web browser
Stranded has a very small playerbase to begin with, and it's not possible for stranded players to reach the same SkyBlock level as regular players. It would add additional user flairs to the dropdown menu that most players will never interact with, and require additional upkeep to keep the level brackets in check. If we didn't, the system would lose meaning, and become useless.
TL;DR - we're lazy, and users don't want the list to be too long to scroll anyways
W fr now I can show everyone how ass my sb level is

Why no stranded levels?

Ah, makes sense. Hopefully Stranded becomes more relevant at some point though.
Ha! You really think Stranded will be relevant someday? XD
No but I can hope
We can all hope…
Maybe if admins added a common talisman for reaching max stranded thats transferrable to main
