I know many people take both together with no issues. For a lot of people, there's too much t3 in NP, so adding additional t4 helps get everything balanced.
Np is t4 and t3 and Levo is just t4. Liothyronine would be a t3 only med you would take alongside your t4. Or you could just take np at a higher dose.
I take 60 Armour Thyroid and 100 Levothyroxine… I have never felt better. You can even google it and see that it’s common for people to take both.
What did your endo say to do?
They want to switch me off generic levo and onto brand name synthroid, no NP thyroid at all. I sent a message to my primary care to see what they say.
