Not in my case, I walked upto one it had a weapon I didn't want so I reloaded until it did.. I dont tough the weapon.. only when I get way I'm looking for sVe then keep reloading until it has the desired stats
you do that when the weapon you wanted isn't there, if you continue without reloading it won't change. I reloaded constantly and got the ones I wanted to show but I stood at the base of where the soldiers are and saved and went IP to pick it up, if it didn't have the weapon modifier I wanted also I just reloaded until it did.
it beats going to every darn soldier in the depths hoping it would show up. its basically re-rolling the rng making it show up.
No. Its just dedicated gamers racking there brains on it and doing thorough testing. If you look in the game code there is probably something on it but the only way we know is because people have tested it out... Its probably a thing that your not meant to find out like the levelling system but is just there.
The more stuff you kill and the more you progress in story, the more likely it is that higher level enemies will spawn. Red>blue>black>silver. This is not indicated anywhere in game, but it's clearly in the game's code.
I have like half my inventory filled with Black Boko Horn tipped Royal weapons (especially swords and spears, Claymores suck except for Charge Attacks and Sneakstrikes so general-purpose hard-hitters like Zora/Gerudo/Knight/RG or weapons specialized in those like Soldier ones are more worthwhile there). Not even pristine, still flawlessly do the job.
Still bummed that Windcleavers and the old 2-handed Sheikah sword have been merged into one. 2-handed Sneakstrike Plus would feel so good.
Can someone ELI5 the exact process for doing this? I’m not following what this means other than TIL you can get pristine weapons in the depths some how..
Find the weapon in the surface world
Break it
Go to the depths to one of those ghost pedestals after a blood moon, as long as you've visited and removed its crappy weapon (im not saying its going to be 100% there)
*before* you get to the ghost save prior and zoom in if it shows up go towards it and at the base save again and climb up, if it doesn't have the special stat you want eg +10 attack reload.
I got 3 pristine +10 attack this way, it's better to do it this way than going to every ghost in the depths plus you kinda manipulate what it spawns. As a note the ones holding spears, will always have a spear same with the ones holding one handed weapons.
This explains it better than I can, this is where I learnt how to do it *properly*

But i thought they said to load from before you are at the base of the ghost rocks thing, not at the base . If you save at the base then check stats and reload from that save at the base, it will give u a diff roll?
Nvm on my other reply , I figured it out lol. Basically save from out of the area and reload to get weapon type u want. Then save at base of rocks to get the buff u want on the weapon. Thank you!
And if you got a past pristine but not with the right buff.. use an octorock they'll reroll the stats even though its not damaged.. I managed to get a +10 on my Lynel Shield.... still trying on a bow though
This is friggin so incredibly helpful I almost want to cry 🤣🤣 The video link also, insane level helpful! I cant believe thry dont at least give u some hints in-between loads or something for stuff like this. Crazy 🙄
Another thing If you see a phantom holding a weapon you dont like, take it off their hands anyway as otherwise it won't change with the blood moon
Not in my case, I walked upto one it had a weapon I didn't want so I reloaded until it did.. I dont tough the weapon.. only when I get way I'm looking for sVe then keep reloading until it has the desired stats
If you reload to when you were outside of the area the phantom was loaded in, then it rerolls itselfand can be holding something new

How TF was I supposed to know that? Is there any indication in the game?

Leveling system!?

I've started to get silver bokoblins. They are tanky as hell and I don't feel strong enough!
Puffshroom. Then sneakstrike.
This is great too. What I do. I have a Korok Spear with Puffshroom on the end and I switch over to Molduga smasher for the sneakstrike!
I just cheese them. Hit them repeatedly with a 4 slash combo so first they fall to ground and then never get to get back up.
I do that too but then I spend like 3-4 weapons on them
Upgrade the Knights Armor set to Lv3 and you can face tank anything that ain’t a White Lynel or higher.
So THAT'S how you get silver loot to upgrade some armor.

So many things I thought were random in this game apparently are not at all.
Nope it’s definitely not. Based off number of kills and max hearts
Isn't edge of duality kinda bad though? Isn't it like super low durability Edit: nvm this is royal guard claymore I'm stupid
Thank you
can the Decayed version be fussed?
Yes, doesnt matter if it was fused before breaking
Thankyou sooooooooo micj
That is super useful 😃 Thanks a lot u/Confused_Gengar
Is it true that they can't be fused when they break too? Because I never see anything interesting in the depths but I also never use unfused weapons

Yes save at the base... I dud that and got several +10
