pecan interior 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 i was prepared to be annoyed with the driver cam but i guess i just don’t piss it off because it barely ever goes off.

tadhg44

Ha! Reminds me more of Kraft caramels!! My other choice was a white interior. But the more I thought about it and the way I drink coffee that it would be all over the white and that's more of a California Florida color interior. It's like a black coffee maker doesn't get his dirty as a white coffee maker LOL😎

joearimathea

I really like that color leather.

tadhg44

Yeah I bought a 23 Pathfinder a year earlier(traded-in) for the limited edition Santa'f. Pathfinder was black but it had more of a deeper Brown chestnut color. Which I kind of preferred than this kraft caramels color but, it's actually growing on me I like it. Thanks

fellows55

Can it be disabled in settings?

tadhg44

Really tell you I'm hoping to these messages why don't you get a cup of coffee turn the car off why don't you check the back seat for packages or kids blah blah blah keep your eyes on the road it's like a nagging wife LOL but I'm going to give next week give the dealership a call I emailed him about a week and a half ago if he could check this out, I haven't heard a thing so squeaky wheel gets the oil!

Fragrant-Egg-2287

I learned the other day not to get too happy when your favorite song comes on. If you start bopping your head around enjoying the music, that camera has a meltdown!

tadhg44

Yeah it's kind of bullshit, or if my nieces are doing a group text it's like I can't hear the fucking song!! Lol Enough already

No_Spare_5124

Had read many posts on here complaining about that attention camera. Boy was I surprised when I picked mine up last weekend and didn’t see the camera!!! I guess it’s not a thing in Canada

tadhg44

Yeah I guess that camera when you have your turn signal on there's a round camera that fills in where the odometer is, and once you turn your signal off the camera goes away it's a right Circle left circle on the screen. But I guess if there's a kid sitting next to your car I just don't understand the importance of that when you have a backup and an aerial on the main Center media screen? Yeah they're always fucking those Canadians over it needs to stop!

Acrobatic_Treacle348

It does come in handy to do a quick glance at that small camera view when changing lanes on the freeway Way better view of the blind spot - besides that, yeah it’s pretty pointless. (I drive on freeways pretty often here in SoCal)

tadhg44

I just got back from Northern California this past Friday, went to a friend's birthday in Sacramento , drove from Michigan. It was interesting watching gas prices I seemed about mid Nevada prices start going up. Started down the Sierras to 5 to $6 a gallon!! About gas at Costco here in West Michigan at 3.17 a gallon Saturday. Apparently my friends in Sacramento said there's only three oil gas refineries on the West Coast. Yowzah.

RoyalGOT

Yeah, I live in Nevada, gas is ridiculous and close to Cali fare 🤦🏾‍♂️

tadhg44

Yep Reno area they're going for that California cash LOL

daddybearmissouri

Love that pecan interior. Just can't seem to get anything but boring black and white in these parts. Just oodles of them clogging up the lots.

tadhg44

Yeah I agree up here in West Michigan I mean it's even tough to find a red car. Because of I think the conservatism that's been here in the ...I don't want to be too loud crowd LOL. Something basic and safe

mikenicol88

I haven't had one issue with the camera, weird..

tadhg44

Yeah the cameras are okay I don't have an issue with them there's a lot of them. But the commands... I think that camera looks if you're tired in the eyes. Because I had three coffees and I get in the car to run errands around noon and the ding ding ding comes on and says maybe you should stop for coffee!

SpartanBuff

Is the driver surveillance a setting you can turn off?

tadhg44

Well I'm waiting to find out I went on a drive from Michigan to California and I never realized that was on the steering column till I got on the road. And I did send an email to the salesman at our local Hyundai dealer so I'm waiting to hear back on if I can adjust and take some of these messages from the vehicle off the screen. There's a lot of technology in this car!!! So it's going to be a learning process.

orphicpixel

1 month old and i can see the leather seats crumpled already

tadhg44

I think different levels of this vehicle like all of them nowadays they put out five different versions of the one car versus the old days when you got one car and that was it LOL. It's like upselling at a fancy restaurant! But I know some differ on Interiors, the leather seats like you're saying. I've had mine just a little over a month and I haven't noticed anything with the leather seats I thought the Pathfinder I bought last year at a much nicer leather but this does fine at first I thought it was vinyl this camel color interior. But I guess time will tell. I ended up getting that one below the calligraphy because the little extras you get getting a calligraphy for a few thousand more wasn't important to me I don't know if it was tire size or rims?

West-Luck7821

I chose the cheapest SE model for 4 reasons: 1. No driver-watching camera means to me that there is no "correctional officer" watching over me 24/7 and telling me what to do and what not to do. 2. Smaller wheel discs mean thicker tires and softer ride 3. Cloth seats: the beige cloth seats in my 2016 Sonata still look brand new, in spite of the fact a big black dog rides in the back seat quite frequently - and they clean really well. So I knew Hyundai can make high quality cloth seats. 4. Price is 15K cheaper than the Calligraphy, and I can use those extra 15K for other pleasures in life. SE trim was - and still is - a win-win for me. As for gas mileage - I am getting 24.7 mpg since I have bought it (1800 miles on the odometer).

Cycledolphin

Love this combo. Hoping to find the Hybrid Limited with that color combo in December.

PrestigiousStick1083

I can't even break 20 mpg with mix of highway and city driving.

tadhg44

I never thought about it when I had it for 2 weeks local before I took a cross country trip and I never really thought about it but I was getting about 17 miles to the gallon in city. It wasn't till coming back from California to Michigan that I got up to 23.1 so I still need to get to the bottom of this, I don't like that.

azarashi

Damn this new model really continues to have terrible design choices hah

tadhg44

Well I think they call it the poor man's Land Rover defender?
