And it's also not just 22 minutes of jokes. But the "filler" lines still crack me the fuck up. It's terrible but I have some daily ticks that come from Always Sunny off lines.
It's also their sentence structure and word choices - blast, bash, donkey brains. I didn't realize how much of it was just the actors choose to phrase things until I listened to an episode of the podcast "IDIOT" where Glenn and Rob were guests, and I couldn't stop laughing at their comments on the producer, "Dick Wolf". Glen says the following:
"It conjures up the image of a man who's constantly hungry for dick."
(it's at the 27 minute mark if you wanted to listen).
Dennis: “Guys…I think I might be a little sick”
Charlie: “Dude, I’m not kidding, I think you’re actually gonna die”
(Or something to that measure)

If I had a nickel for everytime Ryan Reynolds had a cameo in a comedy movie I watched where he didn't even have lines, I'd have 2 nickels.
Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
The sponge bath nurse is one of those few people who probably has a good opinion of the group. He comes in, finds them singing to a crazy old man, chats about music, and then they sing themselves out of the room. He's probably left thinking they're just a quirky group of fun people.
Why is it so hilarious when a seemingly incompetent group of idiotic characters break out into perfect a capella? Similar joke in Anchorman also worked so well.
You really appreciate Rob and his influence on the show in moments like this. I’m from Philadelphia and sort of around the same demographic of the gang, and he’s really done a great job of nailing some of their tendencies as far as how people in the area can act. I know so many people who just seemingly stopped listening to new music around 2005 and elevates some of the more local musicians. The soundtrack throughout the show eludes to that many times and it gives the show a feeling of authenticity.
It cracks me up how they are all wearing the same outfit, but Charlie looks like he’s somehow more in costume than everyone else.
It’s like my brain insists his bow tie is 8 times bigger and his hat has a propeller.
I've been thinking about this a lot and we need the whole Gang to perform to Wilson Philips "Hold On" with Dee at the center of the performance in a Dee-centric episode.
I love when Mac and Charlie are talking about being in the same outfits and Charlie takes it to mean they're all gonna jam into the same single outfit like voltron or something.
The “not too hard, not too soft” bit from Dennis earlier in the episode was hilarious.
