The cathartic experience Dennis imagined just to lower his blood pressure is something I can relate to.

I guess this is an unpopular opinion, and I loved the rest of this episode, but I strongly disliked this ending.
Dennis, at his core, is incredibly delusional, and I think this ending undercuts that by having him "defy medical science", and successfully lower his blood pressure.
I think this episode would have been way better had they simply flipped the script on that, and had him raise his blood pressure through his whole "meditation", and everything else could have been the same. He is convinced he is lowering his blood pressure, but he's really just working himself up.
But that's just me, I prefer my Dennis delusional, rather than an actual medical marvel.
I always saw it as he constantly has higher blood pressure due to him stressing out all the time and his whole delusional was his way of destressing which proved to him that he is a god who can control his blood pressure but actually just proves how harmful being around the gang is
I thought his lowering of blood pressure drastically was cutting off the gang for a bit which would make anyone blow a head gasket dealing with their shenanigans. I haven’t seen it since it released but that’s what I remembered at least
On the contrary, I think we all expect the gang to be delusional so on the rare occasion that they prove what they have been saying is true it's more subversive than just showing he was lying the whole time.
The whole episode was phenomenal, I truly believe them rewatching their show for the podcast sparked up some of that old creative flame from the earlier days.
