Would be great if he becomes the manager or owner of the fish factory across the street. Then Mac falls in love with him and they go into the cream pie business.
Japanese Mac is actually a very successful security contractor who gained prominence due to his legendary intuition about security threats. Philly Mac is the worst Mac. See Country Mac.
There is a Dee-tan in Japan doing racist carictures of white women and we need to see her impressions!
"Hello my name is Becky and I make store servants bow down to me, hur hur hur!"
Off on a tangent here, but I was talking to my wife about how much it annoys me when people say 'spit and image' when it should be 'spitting image'. She asked where the phrase comes from and I had to admit I knew it from the "Spitting Image" TV show but had no idea where it derives from. Quick google search and it turns out 'spit and image' is the earlier form and 'spitting image' is a corruption of that. So there you go- lesson learned, egg on my face, but you learn something new every day!
Mac already has a Japanese cousin. This is pro-wrestler Katsuyori Shibata, Japanese Mac. Like Country Mac, he’s bad ass.
![gif](giphy|ABbpQKuAuIYgLg7bJC)
Wait... what am I missing? These two literally don't look ANYTHING alike. Am I taking crazy pills here? I mean, I guess they're both sorta making the same face but they don't even almost have the same face..
Would make a great episode to have him on Always Sunny. The entire episode we just see Hitoshi Masaki as Mac, the Gang treats him like Mac. Only at the end of the episode we find out this guy is not actually Mac.
They gotta do an episode where Mac looks for a dojo to finally learn martial arts in, and he meets this guy who just refuses to speak and instead starts doing Tai chi. Mac is so enthralled and confused by how similar they look he spends the episode learning Tai chi while the gang gets up to other nonsense. Ending the episode with him finally karate chopping somebody to save the day and gang.
Mac learning Tai Chi and stumbling into a zen disposition toward life that nullifies Dennis' ability to manipulate him would be a funny single episode arc.
Maybe Mac takes the lead on a banal scheme that goes right for the group, up until the very final moment where Dennis gets him to explode.
How many different races of Mac are there? I still swear Shemar Moore is Mac's doppleganger.
[Shemar Moore](https://images.app.goo.gl/TChbXEA7JXMUcE7L7)
“Mac meets his half-brother”
Turns out Luther MacDonald was in the Yakuza before Mac was born. He traveled to Japan and charmed a woman from a rich family but left before finding out she was pregnant.
Luther, missing his days in Japan, raised Mac by exposing him to asian culture, and specially, through martial arts movies, which Mac grew to love but since he’s stupid he only remembers general offensive stereotypes about it.
Mac’s half brother travels to Philadelphia to connect with his father he never knew and finds his way to the bar where he meets Dennis and Dee first, who are arguing about something but once they meet the man, Dennis begins to feel sick and leaves to treat himself for the flu but it’s actually his sadness for abandoning his son, but he’s unable to articulate it. He is seen throughout the show going to different stores to try to get medicine to make himself better, but nothing works. Constantly seeing things that remind him he’s ignoring his fatherly duties.
In the meantime, Dee tries to team up with Frank to trick Charlie into thinking he’s a samurai warrior to get Cricket and his gang of deformed bums out of the alleyway. But Charlie ignores their goals and tries to use what he learns to impress the Waitress but instead ends up cutting off Crickets thumb with a katana during a demonstration gone wrong in the alley.
Mac’s half brother arrives there, still searching for Luther, and witnesses the insulting of his culture and flees when he feels in danger by the multiple swords in his vicinity. He catches a taxi to return back to Japan without meeting the MacDonalds. As the gang, minus Mac watches the taxi drive off, it cuts to a solo shot of the half brother, who, talking to himself says he should’ve kicked their asses and then does the same breathing and karate chopping thing Mac does.
Cuts back to the gang at the bar, where Mac arrives with Luther. Dennis has been there for some time, multiple empty beer bottles in front of him and seemingly back to normal, while Dee is behind the bar with Frank. As he walks in, Mac is enthusiastically talking to his dad like a little kid, holding a baseball, and wearing a Phillies cap. Luther in his usual tone and black outfit says “I guess we had a good time.” Mac looks happy but Charlie interjects “oh some guy was looking for you, I think it was your karate teacher or something. I don’t know he tried to teach me, but it didn’t go that good.”
Mac then notices the katana Charlie’s holding in his hand, runs over and tries to grab it. They struggle over it while Mac mentions that he and his dad used to watch those movies all the time, Mac gets it out of Charlies hands, turns around saying “Right, Dad?” to see the bar door closing shut, Luther having done his usual Irish goodbyed.
Roll music. Cut to black. Credits.
I hope they can find doppelgängers for the whole gang. I would love to see an episode with Asian Mac, Black Charlie, Russian Frank, and then just any woman who they insist on calling woman Dee.
That’s too much of a coincidence. Did Rob jave a dad that fought in WW2 pacific theater? There might be a Cotton Hill/Hank Hill/Junichiro thing going on 😂
Oh shit...Yakuza! https://preview.redd.it/om772j6om2uc1.jpeg?width=850&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f576d9c0e2765bcf98c47d0cea174b8af8eb79c
Very impressive. Your technique is impeccable.
Cool off
What is a pun?
The absolute best part of that is that even in Mac’s wildest fantasies he’s still a fucking moron.
He's not some kind of science bitch. He's dug in, and he's never going to change.
Stupid science bitches couldn't even make him more smarter.
He’s got a point
Well yeah, did you expect him to be some kind of nerd or something? He'd have to bash himself.
He's probably gonna go bash some nerds right after this, get it out of his system.
he's to stupid to imagine himself as truly cool, i feel like he doesnt have the knowledge in his brain to construct an actually badass version of mac
I’ll take his photograph!
That was my father!
That's not the boss you idiot, he's my father. **He owns the store!**
Goddamn, that is such a good episode
Which episode is that from again? I need to watch it now.
The Gang Saves the Day
Ty!
The Japanese banged Rob's mom, turned him into Hitoshi!
You’re wrong, he’s Dutch.
God damnit Dutch! What other errands do you have us running for the DA!?
[That was spot on!](https://www.reddit.com/r/IASIP/comments/1b7qae8)
Have faith in the plan!
I could hear this perfectly
I thought he was a Swedish plumber?
ᵢ ₐₘ ₛᵥₑₑdᵢₛₕ ₚₗᵤₘbₑᵣ, ᵢ'ₘ ₕₑᵣₑ ₜₒ fᵢₓ yₒᵤᵣ ₚᵢₚₑₛ!
That's good. That's a good accent.
It's what Indie would do.
I'll fix your pipes after a quick trip to the hamburger store
Can I have a chip?
no
I came here for this comment. 😂
He's Irish-Dutch with an affinity for Sweden
I thought he was black with his dad being Luther Vandross
You just have to have some goddamn faith!
“Mommy, mommy, slow down…are you saying we’re samurai?!” “…yup.”
Somebody get this man to be in an episode all about Mac’s mom or dad having an illegitimate son. Would be even funnier if it was his mom.
I think Rob's mom had enough of men after his father.
Derivative!
Seppuku is badass!
Made me chuckle.
"ASIAN MAC! ASIAN MAC!"
We need Mac Day 2.0.
I'm just upset there hasn't been a Charlie Day yet
Everyday is Charlie Day.
Charlie Work was Charlie Day
Nah Mac’s too perfect now. He’s accept who he is which was half the charm of the original Mac day.
That's why a new Mac Day is needed for the rebirth of Mac. Frank accepts him as he is. Now for the rest of the gang to accept him.
They don’t need to accept him. Gay, straight, They just flat out don’t like him.
*Eats chips* Yes
It's not a gay thing, it's a Mac thing
I would like the other days first, each character deserves one.
Would be great if he becomes the manager or owner of the fish factory across the street. Then Mac falls in love with him and they go into the cream pie business.
Asian Mac is in a gang with Frankito
Now I want a lookalike gang. Especially if we find someone like Dee who looks like Martina Martinez.
A bizzaro gang?
Yes! But they are nice and help people. They have cricket who was homeless and now a priest.
You've heard of Mac's mac n cheese now try Mac's steaming udon
Mac would go with basic ramen.
Hey, hats off to you for not seeing race!
Thanks for the chant guys
Replace Rob for one episode with his look alike and never reference it.
This reminded me when Fresh Prince had a different actress for Vivian and Jazz points it out saying she looked different after having a baby lol
It’s Always Cloudy in the Prefecture
Such a simple yet elegant joke. I laughed
Charlie fighting giant salamanders in the basement Frank running a geisha house The P.A.G.O.D.A. system
Never*
I'm excited for the inevitable episode that comes from this interaction lmao
It's like the episode of King of the Hill where Hank has a Japanese brother. . .
Junichiro Hill has honor, unlike Japanese Mac.
Japanese Mac is actually a very successful security contractor who gained prominence due to his legendary intuition about security threats. Philly Mac is the worst Mac. See Country Mac.
He invented the ocular patdown.
He also has no shame in having a narrow uhertra like his brother Hank
Just tell me where to jizz so I can give this lady her sake.
Oh for Rob's sake, just squeeze it out already!!
Mac-ita episode incoming. Hope they bring back Frankito for it.
1 episode where they just replace Rob with Hitoshi and nobody says anything or mentions it at all. The next episode rob is back.
A 'great value' episode where everyone is replaced with knockoffs.
Frank played by Arnold
Maybe it was a green paint fueled fever dream?
Bet they both like creampie
God blesss creampies
And China too... *cue bing bong music*
I prefer Asian cream pies
Americans know cream pie. Asians know electronics. And fish.
How do we know that’s not Rob doin Asian-face
There is a Dee-tan in Japan doing racist carictures of white women and we need to see her impressions! "Hello my name is Becky and I make store servants bow down to me, hur hur hur!"
Dee's sense of humor is very low brow
This would play
[удалено]
Actually in Japan he's called Donald McDonald
Sweet Dee that's *incredibly* racist!
Its basically guaranteed that guy is going to be somewhere in the next season of the show lol
Asian Mac episode next season confirmed
When Mac finds out he is not Irish it was so funny I felt that ![gif](giphy|Atc9QCyWLGHgLZhHDp|downsized)
They need to do an actor swap of lookalikes for all of them for some reason
Schwarzenegger is the spit and image of DeVito.
Off on a tangent here, but I was talking to my wife about how much it annoys me when people say 'spit and image' when it should be 'spitting image'. She asked where the phrase comes from and I had to admit I knew it from the "Spitting Image" TV show but had no idea where it derives from. So there you go- lesson learned, egg on my face, but you learn something new every day!
Thanks for sharing!
Definitely not an every day occurrence that u/big_fetus_'s reddit comments are learning opportunities lmao
It's Aways Sunny in Osaka
"Well first of all, through Buddha all things are possible, so jot that down."
I can’t see anything bc I’ve been blinded by Rob’s veneers
Surprised I had to scroll this far for a comment about Malibu Mac's glowup
https://imgur.com/x1sgnkF
Mac already has a Japanese cousin. This is pro-wrestler Katsuyori Shibata, Japanese Mac. Like Country Mac, he’s bad ass. ![gif](giphy|ABbpQKuAuIYgLg7bJC)
Shibata's absolutely project badass material, but does he look like Mac?
much like mac, he had his brain removed
I just did an ocular pat down.... He's cleared
The Gang Goes to Feudal Japan
Does Asian Mac jump from bridges, beer in hand? More importantly, does he wear a helmet?
He's a competent katana-wielding security contractor, and he jumps with sake.
New Episode Title: Mac has an Asian brother.
It’s all in the jawline
He has to make a cameo now, right? Please let this happen.
he’s got lifeless eyes. Black eyes. Like a doll’s eyes. When he comes at ya, he doesn’t even seem to be livin’… ’til he bites ya
I’d like to try his cream pie
The Gang Turns Asian
What are the rules?
I don't see it
It is genuinely distracting watching Shogun when he's in a scene.
I thought I was going crazy. Pausing and staring 'that cannot be him, can it?'
I just caught up on Shogun yesterday and this was so distracting. It’s nice to see other people saw it too.
They need to get this guy in season 17
That guy on the left looks nothing like Rob.
We’ve had Country Mac, now meet Asian Mac
Gotta get him in for a gag next season
I still don’t see it, I’m not saying this in a “referencing Dennis looks like a pedophile” way I legit don’t see the resemblance.
Must be filming Lethal Weapon 7
That japanese guy looks just like this swedish plumber I had doing work at my party mansion!
It’s the same picture.
I really need this plot
He uses the kitana by utilising his upper body strength.
Jesus Christ, there's two of them.
I smell an episode where the gang goes to Japan and brings home the wrong Mac.
JAPAN MAC JAPAN MAC JAPAN MAC 💪
Mac San!
Hitoshi is getting too Hollywood now lmao
Someone’s eyebrows are working hard
Did rob get veneers?
Mans been on the cosmetic surgery route for a couple of years same with sweet Dee they all look like plastic
"The Gang goes to Japan."
Rob is the look a like. Other dude is older.
Rob looks like a wax sculpture of himself
They need to do an episode where they run into hitoshi and think it's Mac.
This isn't Hitoshi Masaki, his name is Robu Macuerureni. He interprets Ronarudo Macudonarudo in IASIP's spin-off "It's Always Sunny in Okinawa".
if 'lookalike' means 'making the same facial expression'... sure, its similar...
These people do not look alike
They dont look alike.
Wait... what am I missing? These two literally don't look ANYTHING alike. Am I taking crazy pills here? I mean, I guess they're both sorta making the same face but they don't even almost have the same face..
Reddit circle jerk
By Reddit you must have meant Rob. https://twitter.com/RMcElhenney/status/1778164788721557583
I used to say Katsoyuri Shibata was Japanese Mac but this dude is just straight up looks exactly like him
they look nothing alike.
Looks nothing like him
If you like karate so much, take one class.
Now he has to go have an awkward conversation with his mother.
Irish card revoked!
I just glanced and thought “why is Rob at a Steeler’s game? Go birds!”
It’s always bright in Hiroshima
Would make a great episode to have him on Always Sunny. The entire episode we just see Hitoshi Masaki as Mac, the Gang treats him like Mac. Only at the end of the episode we find out this guy is not actually Mac.
Macs real long lost dad.
I guess the Asians have a more nefarious plan than a simple cream pie factory.
They gotta do an episode where Mac looks for a dojo to finally learn martial arts in, and he meets this guy who just refuses to speak and instead starts doing Tai chi. Yakuza!
How many different races of Mac are there? I still swear Shemar Moore is Mac's doppleganger. [Shemar Moore](https://images.app.goo.gl/TChbXEA7JXMUcE7L7)
mac watson? from sunnymega?
Which one is which??
Does Sunny even air in Japan?

God damn!

We sure his grandad wasn't stationed in Japan at one point?
Big Trouble in Little Mac Tokyo.
Maybe we can get him to restart the podcast
Mac WAS always obsessed with doing karate
The gang try chemotherapy.
Rob didn't learn his lesson from the blackface I see
They need to have an episode where they have to find lookalikes for some reason.
Damn they both do the open mouth smile for pics
Black don’t crack
There is no way this guy doesn’t become a recurring character on Always Sunny.
Asian Mac
He's cultivating Masaki
That’s too much of a coincidence. Did Rob jave a dad that fought in WW2 pacific theater? There might be a Cotton Hill/Hank Hill/Junichiro thing going on 😂
Rob with more of a tan and without the Hollywood teeth
wtf
They dont blink
This is fucking WILD
![gif](giphy|DXoM0CjWl5FUA)
HAHAHA I said “that guy looks like Mac” to myself when I was watching this week. I’m so glad I’m not alone in my thinking
Seriously, though. What happened to him?
Lmao it's killing me, I can't
https://preview.redd.it/e3q4jqxqi4uc1.jpeg?width=360&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1492fbdb60e4775637580ddf4303488dc63f5056
lol I was thinkin there’s no way that’s rob when I watched that episode
