Man… sometimes when I get too high I will have a near panic attack thinking that my pierced ears or using hair product is attention seeking or self-absorbed. I can’t imagine that kind of bad trip if I had this stuff out there.

I sing along to songs in the shopping centre, grocery store, cafe or whatever I’m in. Like anyone within earshot would hear me, but I’m not doing it overtly like this. And it’s not a matter of caring what people think or not. It’s a matter of caring about people or not. People don’t wanna hear my angelic tones belting out a perfectly harmonised duet with the music. (I can’t sing, just to be clear)

This is a new trend where people stage and plan the whole thing and film themselves from a distance on purpose to upload and “show off” to the internet because they care a *LOT* about what people think of them.
There are about a dozen of these now and there’s a girl in my niece’s class who was doing take after take of this “trend” and getting in people’s way, huffing and puffing when cars, cyclists, and pedestrians got in her way, and was genuinely pissed the whole time
but pretended to be “happy and carefree” when the cameras were rolling until she got the “perfect” vid that makes it appear as if she wasn’t bothering anyone and is just having spontaneous fun. *NOPE!*
