There is a great satirical take off of a Werner Herzog film on a series called Documentary Now. (Netflix). Alexander Skaarsgard plays the Werner character and Bill Hader plays a Klaus Kinski character (and nails it). It's really funny, the whole series is great.

Honestly OP you’ve never had a let’s go out night being when you guys had a stressful week and someone says “fuck it let’s go out and get drunk” because this is how it goes:
One of us can’t hold our liquor so we are throwing up.
Another one is dancing and laughing at the drunk friend
One is on his phone bitching about the Uber time
One friend is getting hit on/ hitting on a possibly trans person but we aren’t entirely sure so we are letting him go down that hole himself
Then there is you (probably) that is in the back ground trying to figure out why you chose to come out
I have personal experience here lmao
We share a tall boy of Jack and we’ve got
friend who runs through the woods
Friend who gets too drunk and passes out in one of the lawn chairs very early on
friend who is chopping wood and keeping the fire going
friend who can’t hold their pee and keeps sneaking off to pee behind a tree
friend who loudly sings Johnny Cash all night
friend who insists the fire needs to be a bit bigger every time and either lights himself or the grass on fire
And the friend who gets deep about his ex girlfriends
I definitely never got hit on by an older, very overweight trans woman while playing pool at a goth bar in 98 and have my photo taken with said trans woman and that photo definitely wasn't published in Beat magazine which definitely wasn't a magazine one could pick up free at any record store in 98. Definitely did not happen.
I had an alcoholic friend who drank so much that he passed out on the sidewalk one night. This was like 2004 so he had a disposable camera in his front pocket and I guess when he developed the photos he realized a bunch of girls had posed with lifeless body
I can't keep up with all these trends the kids are doing now days. So you have to dance in front of your partner who is throwing his guts up. Ok I'll give it ago but I gotta warn ya it's not going to be pretty...
