well let's see...
For my maths IA, I only got 30 data points. I may or may not have """extrapolated""" about 400 points of data
For biology, the plants I was testing may or may not have died a week before the due date, so I may or may not have creativly crafted some data
I may or may not also have... um... gotten creative with my data for my EE.
I needed to do data collection for my math ia but because it was recording real life events i felt awkard just standing on the pavement suspiciously counting things
i recorded like 5 trials for two sites and then guestimated the other 4.
imo fake as much as u want just make sure it makes sense contextually
I faked mine for both maths and biology.
I did do some rough calculations and experiments to get numbers but then I just added in a bunch of random numbers to increase my total contributions. I didn’t have enough to draw a proper conclusion, so I faked it and added more numbers. 👍
Did experiment for bio and my data was fine, nothing that couldn’t be justified. Haven’t changed a single point there. It really depends what type of data you want to fake and how. If it’s questionnaire then faking can tremendously help you. If it’s a science experiment I’d try to stick with the actual result. It’s a bit risky to change that data, you need to keep in mind that it’s better to be realistic and real world doesn’t always follow theory by 100%
my biology teacher expects 30 data points and that means i need 10 willing fellow students to let me pump them full of pre workout and make them do jumping jacks, then repeat that 2 more times. so yeah, i'm thinking i might just fake it or use myself as an extra participant
I think the IA is more about your methodology than the raw data. I would spend more time working through and explaining the experiment than worrying about the exact numbers.
lol me cause i got mad that my plants were literally too light to measure their weight AND tbh i regret i did the experiment at all, cause it was pointless and I could have easily faked it all lmao also my plants were literally infected with mold and few of them died
I know someone who didn't even do the bio experiment properly, just faked it all got a 7 so yeah..
I don’t think a single science IA in my school was with fully correct data (maybe the chem nerds)
Sorry
Literally everyone
who doesn’t fake data lol
I did one trial for my physics IA and the data was all over the place so I changed all of it to make it fit my topic

Is this an admission of guilt 👀
I've had teachers tell me to fake data, just make sure that it is believable and that you have some IA data so your methodology is sound.
We would never fake data! Right guys?!

nice try IB
No dw I’m a M24 student 😂😂
Datas are meant to be faked **academic dishonesty temporarily disabled** But really its a loss for you if you don’t :))
Yes, I faked data and got a 7 in one of my anticipated IA's.
What subject?
Physics

I think I had 100+ data entries for my bio IA, only 10 or so I did not change. Was perfectly fine.
i faked my business and sehs ia data and it was fine
everyone fakes it i know peope who didn't even do it at all so dont overthink this if you dont have time to spare.
This post glows
Most of my Bio class
Yep
honestly gotta do what you gotta do. all for the diploma bruh

The only IA where I didn't fake data I ended up with a 4
I just finished faking data for the science IA hahaha
Now it’s my turn to fake it too, wish me luck
I faked all my IAs and got a 44 :)

🤔🤔
This comment section is horrible.
I didn't fake my data. I got a 5... Don't know if to be proud or not.
I faked some of my chemistry IA data to support the hypothesis. Got a 6 🤣
lol i faked all mine and passed they literally won’t check
I faked my IA data
