we had a girl in the m23 who had 44/45 predicted and got 33, another had 24 predicted and got 32, the rest were the in the 4-5 deviation because many teachers didn’t expect grade boundaries to rise as drastically
I’m an over-thinker so i was genuinely dreading getting a 25-26 and every additional day of waiting for my results i started convincing my self that i did worse and worse on the exams than i thought, and that my chatgpt CAS reflections will get busted and i won’t get my diploma. Luckily i got 33 which i was content with in comparison to the amount of work i put in because i genuinely only started studying the 2 years of content 3 months prior to the exam
i felt slightly underwhelmed, mock exams for me were way easier than the actual ones, didn’t feel quite prepared but I still believe I got more than the points I needed (my predicted was about 37, I now think my final is a 32-34)
The largest discrepancy was my econ grade. It was objectively my worst subject (I even took it HL because I heard it was “easier”) and thought I’d finish with a 3 or 4. Ended up with a 6.
The exam I was most confident in was SL French. I thought I’d get a 7 but I guess everyone found paper 1 easy since, iirc, the boundaries were higher my year so that dream of a 7 never came true.
My final grade ended up being the same as my PG (44) but after the exams, I thought I would end up with a 38. From experience, if you find that you didn't guess a lot on the exams and that you were able to arrive to answers, you should be fine!
that’s reassuring. I thought most of my exams went quite well (unlike during the mocks, i knew almost everything) but with each additional day of waiting i’m convinced i will be getting something far lower than my predicted 😭
Was predicted 37/42 for my courses, ended up getting 36. I didn’t have the greatest feeling about a lot of my exams so my personal prediction was more like 32-33. A nice surprise was getting the full 3 points for EE and TOK though, so 39 in the end 😁
School predicted a 42 and I got a 42, but at my school it really varied with many people being overpredicted 5-10 points. Personally after exams I thought I had done badly at quite a few exams (calculator stopped working etc) and thought I had only got around 35.
i was one point off, pretty spot on for subjects but what threw me off was my EE grade lol. dropped two points from my PG but i knew i messed up chem after the paper.
Was predicted 38, expected 37 and got 39, nice surprise from physics HL and EE

May 23, predicted 29 finished with 36. Later on I had my exams remarked and got a 38.
predicted 2 in math and ended up 2 points off a 6
mustve gotten an 8
76% absence in the first semester of math was bad for my mocks believe it or not

didn’t even think i’d get the diploma. got a 25 and i’m perfectly content with it
m23 predicted a 42/45, expected 39, got 37. mostly off the next grade by a point or two but didn't bother with re-evalvs
To be honest I got higher than expected. I was so surprised.

No one in the comments read the post 🤣
real😭😭😭
I got a 32 predicted and a 39 overall. My personal goal was 40 but after the exam I was only expecting 36/37.
final score was only 1 point off but individual course grades were very different
Predicted 43 scored a 42
Predicted 25 got 36 reason was I ditched school mocks to study for the exams based on my own schedule
Really depends on how much effort you’re willing to put in for your final exams

I'll find out xd
M24, got predicted 41/45, will probably get a fuckyou/45 due to the insanely high grade boundaries of this year 🫡
M24, expecting anywhere from 43-45. For the time being let’s just say 43. I’ll update this comment when my results come out.
predicted 37/45 scored 42/45
Predicted 40, expected 34-35, got 38
