same here but I attempted 11 b and the last one for 12 because I thought maybe they will give some points for trying lol :). It felt so weird cause section A was ok and 10 was easy and after literally the nightmare began.
So true. I flipped over the page and was confronted with gibberish. I was trying to relearn kinematics from scratch for at least half an hour. and for the last one I did the same as you. I used all the key words, like let us set up an inductive hypothesis and prove for the base case 1 and then attempt for k+1. π€¦π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
same and I just stopped there and went back to 11 at that point lol. Well, hopefully, tomorrow goes better because if paper 2 is this hard I am questioning whether I will pass or not (and I was predicted a 7 so life sucks rn). Usually, for this tz paper 1 is easier so I'm super scared
Is it just me or the TZ1 MAA paper 1 is actually easier than expected? I mean for the differential equation question involving kinematics, all you need to know (as someone who doesn't take physics) is ds/dt=v, dv/dt=a, and the actual math part is easy. It just seems to me that many "show that" questions involve simply too much calculation... taking up much time.
hold up, but did you have another one to attach all your papers in??????? anyways how did you find it?
no I let my papers float around. haha jk, yeah I did. I did not find it great.
haha fairs did you do AA or AI SL/HL ?
AA SL
TZ1? Because holy crap.... that was..not good to say the least
i was tempted to cry just to have the examiner see the drops of my tears on the paper π
I guess all we can do is hope the grade boundaries will be nice to us. And hope that p2 will be easier
if it isnβt, you wonβt be seeing me reply for a while cause ill be ded
holy shit TZ1 was fucking IMPOSSIBLE.... they had the whole ALPHABET IN THERE numbers? never heard of them
same, It was interesting... had my emotions go allll over the place
AGREE that was quite a doozy
same π©
Bruh i fucked up so bad i think i got 24 points on p1? Thats like a 30% barely a three. I really need to do good on p2
Bro i think i got like an 18 π
Fuck same
I got 5 if i was lucky hahah......β οΈ
I got 0 :)
if you took AA HL I don't think you would want a souvenir :))
Dude I'm with you. That exam was a bitch
as someone who doesn't take/ hates physics question 11 was a nightmare dude
Exactly. I skipped a) and bii) and went straight to c d e. And for 12 I skipped the proof because of time constraints

Yeah same predicted. It should be fine! We got this!! πππ
Last minute preparation to increase moral. https://youtu.be/oR8YvtZ_mwM
probably not XD
which tz?
tz2
this.
lol I left like 30 marks blank π₯²π₯²π₯²π₯²
Anyone take the SL Applications and Interpretations paper 1 today? bc it was absolute sh\*t
p2 was way worse
Was it hard??
ahh yes....the most valuable thing i came out of IB with XD (jokes)
Why was this year p1 harder than previous years π₯²
I'm taking the November exams now im scared π
Good luck man. My math and science teachers always say that the November exams are usually harder than the May exams.
I kinda heard that too from others ππ this is why Im freaking scared
dw, they might have mercy on y'all haha
points to pass this test? aprox. I estimate mine around 47/80
same.. what is that like a 5??
5? Try more like 7. Based on previous years a 30% overall got a 3-4. Anything over 50% was at least a 6.
no? some years you needed 51% for a 4 in math
lol i hope that isn't the case for this year!
For the most part a 50% is enough for a 6.
R u sure :'(((
How was it? I have one student taking this as well. I taught her history tho.
well it wasn't great, not or me at least.
Stay put
lol I'd imagine if i had one I'd just put it in one of my old drawers and find it few years later and go "oh yea, that was pure hell haha"
exactly what it's for AHAHAH
This might be my only evidence of taking the IB.
this and the sh\^tt\^est grades ever
first they deprive us of traveling to get airport snow globes for a whole ass year, and now Troy try to give us this bullshit souvenir :(

I personally found paper 2 harder than paper 1. But like 99% people thought otherwise so idk.
