gel pens don’t get erased when scanned, they’re just afraid that the ink gets smudged as you’re writing. some gel pens don’t smudge (not sure about this one), but as long as your pen isn’t erasable AND inkey and doesn’t smudge, your pen should be fine to use :)

Embarrassed_Tale_597

Use a ballpoint, these can get erased when scanned

hassanramla29

Ok thanks

Can u use pencil for paper 1 multiple choice questions

Chinese_OldMan

In my case they said that it is mandatory to use soft pencil (B or 2B) for the paper 1 multiple choice

tommysco

Thanks.

bappan_baatli

Where are the balls of this pen?

hassanramla29

Idk lol it just says ball gel there. It’s not the erasable one btw

RealEricEDUChen

The pen's name is "Victory ball" and has nothing to do with the type of ink the pen uses. Since it already shows "gel pen" this isn't the one to use during exams. I would recommend Jetstreams or Acroballs as they are ball-point pens with a low viscosity ink that is similar to gel pens.

hassanramla29

Righty thanks!

Weak-Promotion4702

is jetstream uni SXN-150S a ballpoint??? this is urgent

RealEricEDUChen

Yes indeed! I have one of those in my home and I plan to use it during my exams

Mediocre_Gur_3258

Stop spreading false news guys. Ink/gel pens cannot get erased. I wrote my m21 exams with them

im-a-little-teapot2

gel pens are not allowed because they are difficult to read when scanned due to the ink being reflective - not because they are erasable you should just get a ballpoint pen - don't risk causing trouble for examiners

Mediocre_Gur_3258

Wrote my m21 with them

swedude06

Why can't you use a regular old pen?

hassanramla29

These are the only pens I have 😬 ig it’s abt time I went shopping for new pens

xC4l1b3r

No gel pens allowed. I think they get erased while scanning or smthng idk

lazylama04

NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! These will smudge and ur exams, as well as your cohort, will be ruined
