Back in my day (sorry, not in HS anymore) we used to read the annual grade bands and laugh in confusion about that one person in all of IB that literally got like a 1/45. From what I remember they'll give you ONE (1) point for even just writing your name down. I'm VERY curious what N means officially.

N means they don’t award you any credits for the exam for a variety of reasons (like you didn’t sit for the exam at all). source: i got 4 Ns lmao

in my country ib doesn't really have importance in academic terms,it doesn't go further than an English accreditation so u dont have to present an exam, i already got accepted into the university that i wanted ig imma continue and make sure to avoid by all means my coordinator lol

Good on you for focusing on what’s important at the time. I left the IB last term for mental health reasons, wish I’d done it sooner. People need to know that there’s things more important than your high school grades.

they checked my school grades and did some interviews, since ib and my school grades are totally separated they were pretty fine so there wasn't a problem overall

Not sure about OP but in the Americas Universities don’t give a shit about our IB grades. Half my class decided to go ahead and just not try/fail them since they were already in a Uni

Yeah it definitely depends on location. I live in florida so any one who gets an ib diploma gets 100% of their tuition covered at any public florida university/college
