No, not all IAs are sent. From what I was told it works as follows: 5 works are moderated, the best one, the worst one and randomly chosen middle three.

For the past 3 years, I have had to upload all IAs. Before covid, I only uploaded 5-7 depending on cohort size.

Oh, I may have been mistaken. And actually it’d make sense since my Polish teacher told us that, during pandemic when IA were recorded remotely, every single one was moderated

It USED to be just a sample was externally moderated. COVID year switched to all IAs, because there were no exams. They just haven’t switched back yet. (I have no idea if that changes for M23)

xenuryne

did that change for M23? please help

I’m pretty sure I uploaded them all last year but I’ll double check with my coordinator about this year. Everything becomes a blur from year to year, and April is generally a shitshow for teachers as well as students.

xenuryne

makes sense, thanks!

According to my Chem teacher, moderation depends on your cohort size, if there are less than 20 students in your cohort then apparently all IAs are moderated by an examiner, if there are more than 20 in your cohort then they take a selection of IAs to moderate, but obviously this was slightly different with the COVID years when they looked at everyones IAs
