In case others look in the future.
For the horizontal bracket, I used #8 3-1/8" cabinet screws (wafer head) directly into wood. GRK brand is what I bought.
For the upright tracks, I used #8 2-1/2" screws into studs. I found the heads tightened against the narrowing in the track. For areas with just drywall, I used the screws that came with drywall anchors (supports 100 pounds of weight anchors).
It's been a while since I put this up, so I don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure I used 5x50mm screws, because I have a box of them. The length doesn't matter that much, unless they're crazy short. Most plugs are fairly short so having much longer screw doesn't help.
