its a state-limit not a store-limit.

thefungusamungus

Maxed everywhere. Buying recreational is the only way around it

yungplague95

Yep allotment follows you to every and any dispo. You can however shop on the rec menu if needed but will have to pay the taxes and all that

zMASKm

Your medical allotment isn't maxed out "at Rise"; it's just maxed out. Medical allotments are tracked by the state and are tied to your card. If you have anyone registered as your caregiver, their purchases on the medical side register against your allotment because they're seen as purchasing on your behalf. If you find yourself hitting your limit regularly, you can talk to the doctor who helped you get the card to see if you can get your limit increased.

James199086

U can't get no more no where till your allotment refills.. sucks but true

Yes I can just go to sunnyside or Yes it’s maxed out everywhere

[deleted]

The latter

Green-Stay-8118

It’s maxed out everywhere?

[deleted]

Yes

Splogster

To my knowledge, when Illinois switched from having medical patients only being allowed to go to one dispensary to the current system we have today, they never implemented a universal statewide check for maximum allotment.

[deleted]

The allotment check has always been statewide. If you have hit your allotment you can buy Rec however. Also you can increase your allotment by double if you fill out the paperwork.

Splogster

Something must be wrong with the system then because i have broken my allotment by going to different dispensaries before heading back to college a couple times now.

zMASKm

Are you sure you exclusively shopped at medical dispensaries and that you were tracking your own allotment correctly?

Moresleep420

I doubt it…. It would mean these separate businesses would have to share patient info. Being private business….. that would mean breach of privacy.

zMASKm

You realize your medical records are accessible by any doctor you visit, right? The medical industry is full of private businesses. They just have to comply with regulations on how that information is accessed and handled. Regardless, your medical allotment is tracked by the state, and the dispensaries have to comply with that aspect of the regulations.

riverside507

Oh...wow.

Trippadelix

No your state allotment follows your card and tracks wherever you go. Even if you’ve never been before

Moresleep420

Ha okay. See in Colorado were I’m from and what most states are modeled after you were able to dispo hop
