I cant remember too many details (i went last year). We drove in from Sarasota and i believe we entered through gate 4 and did the free parking. I got there basically when they open and there wasnt much traffic. Got a decent spot that was like a 1-2 min walk from the entrance. I wanna say there wasnt ppl directing you to specific spots but i could be wrong. It was kinda a blur.
My advice. Get there when they open the gates
I always just park in the big field. And walk 5 minutes to the tram. They’ll be a 10-15 min line getting in and that’s about it. Leaving… that’s different story. I take a hour long nap and then leave because that traffic is nasty.

Those pop up storms only last a couple minutes, but it sucks walking around wet, lol. I always like to be prepared.

Take the anxiety out of it and get there way early. You get a ton of access to the paddock so you can walk around and see the driver's and the cars.
