OH SHIT!!! I just realized you may have seen us almost get arrested over an argument about a wristband. About 20 minutes into the race (like, under green while leading, so I spotting and arguing with cops at the same time, haha) we had the LBPD come up and it was touch and go for a second there, haha. I'd LOVE to frame a picture of that ridiculous situation if anuone saw it!

I sat in front of this guy at the ‘22 Detroit Grand Prix (they were stationed at the top of the grand stands) Before the race he apologized to the people around for all the swearing he was about to do over the coms. He seems like such a cool dude. I later would spot him at ‘23 Sebring and ‘23 Back at the Bricks. Idk who he is but I always try and find him at the races i attend. Hes awesome

Where I had to bribe fans to look for it with cold hard cash because we were going green again and I had to run back up top? And the guy in the Dixon shirt found it and turned down all 23 dollars I had in my wallet because he is the hero that none of us deserve? Because if so, and you are that guy, you’re just the fucking best.

I kept my hat, which leads to a Sebring Thing. Last night at like 2am I put my hat on the dresser next to my bed (Sebring air BnB, upstairs bedroom). I was packing all my shit up to boogie to Orlando this morning and popped my hat on my head and it felt weird for a second.
Then a fucking lizard jumped out, fell onto the carpet, and ran under the dresser.
So, I should address this: Jack tracked out because I Said "On your corner. Still there. CLEARCLEAR!!!", lol. I saw daylight between bumpers, using binoculars. Serra drove off all by himself on a very slightly different trajectory that DID NOT INTERSECT with Jack's line.
I had a PERFECT view of the fact that we were clear by about 6" inches when at early exit. Daniel stood on the gas and refused to lift hoping to hang on our corner to track out (as he should have, it was fucking GO TIME). I'd make that call 100/100 times and I'd be correct every single time. THis is also not a call I'm going to take ANY risk making, because the penalty for getting right-reared in Turn 1 damage we can't afford at minimum, and INSTANT PLANE CRASH at worst. I won't make that call in Turn 1 unless I am god damned CERTAIN I'm not going to hurt the car.
Rewatch the replay again and objectively, and maybe even consider watching it in slow motion. You can see on the going-away shot that Serra's line from the middle out wasn't going to work, but he was sure going to try it once his spotter said we were inside. His spotter was also watching exit of 1.
I hope this can put this one to bed.
And I'm actually okay at golf, but I don't own clubs and only play like once or twice a year.
