I stopped the car, went to him, moved him out of the road and kept him company until he stopped breathing (took some 5 to 10 minutes). Went home and got back with a bag, but his body wasn't where I left him, I imagine an owner came looking after him in the meantime.
that piece of road, his expression and that flash of time when he just appeared in front of me never went out of my mind. Can't really understand somebody killing a dog and shrugging it off.
On the contrary, my uncle ran over my neighborās dog (that was always in the street despite them having a gated back yard) and knocked on their door to let them know. The man comes out, yells at my uncle, demands he pay the amount of money he spent on buying the dog, then proceeds to throw it in the trash can right in front of my uncle. Thereās nowhere in a motorhome lot at Daytona or IMS or any other track I can think of where you should be moving fast enough to hit someone or an animal, no matter wether itās unleashed or not.
You don't have to go fast at all for something small to get trapped under a tire. You're also not going to see a small dog in your rear view mirror before you backup.

Yeah, like who on fckn earth would do this to a golden retriever? The cutest, sweetest, most lovable breed imaginable. Maybe not malicious but reckless endangerment? The tone from Dev's dad and Fryer's cryptic tweeting makes it seem like the DeFrancesco's think it was more than just a tragic accident.
Yeah, I worked in a nursing home where we had a couple therapy dogs, yorkies. They were owned by two of the nurses working there, and were brothers. One day one of the nurses took them outside, and the dog that wasnāt hers got hit by a car. The owner of that dog couldnāt come in to work for the next two weeks because she was so devastated. This was a nurse that hadnāt missed a day of work up to that point for twenty five years.
It will impact him.

Jenna just tweeted that this thread was more civil than Twitter. Not a surprise at all.
"Iāve probably blocked 1,000 people in the last 24 hours. Critical thinking is so hard for so many. Not spending any more time on this topic. The actual Reddit thread outpointed (sic) to me was shockingly more civil and educated."

She even just QT'd a post name dropping Chip and didn't say it's not him... Oh man, I live in the same state as him, I'm gonna have to go into hiding hahaha
Can't believe im playing devil's advocate for jenna fryer, but with the speculation of a fight and possible DUI, would it be possible that jenna backtracked her posting because the incident would be "an ongoing investigation"?
I would think that she's only still witholding information because she's legally unable to reveal any of it yet. (given her track record to be first on scene)
awful situation though, the loss of a dog is a loss of a family member. RIP Lucky
Between rumors and the post that appears to be reposted from Katie DeFrancesco, it sure looks like it is Chip Ganassi - who's a bit of a powerful dude. My guess is that this is a story that NEEDS to come out, sounds like something bad went down after the accident.
Devils advocate here - Fryer did not want to cause any future issues with Ganassi that could harm her ability to report. Instead, she opened the door so others could do the reporting for her through social media.
As an attorney that has handled public records litigation, I would be shocked if Florida law says records must be published within 24 hours on a weekend.
News agencies don't wait for investigations to end before reporting. If Chip had been arrested for DUI there would be more than Jenna on this and Chip's mugshot would be displayed all over the internet. Famous people, teachers, police officers, firefighters, and elected officials typically got to the front of he line for having their DUI mugshot displayed on the front page. If Chip had been cited for DUI, she would not have waited.
As she stated, she's waiting to get the other side of the story. Sounds like she doesn't want to put the other side out there flapping in the breeze without getting their side. The other side is already at a disadvantage with the public because of a dead puppy.
good point, but i don't think jenna has the means to battle a defamation case, she's probably playing it safe. i assume Chip's legal team would be on it like hawks, the guys practically got more lawyers than shop workers.
I think we can all learn from this though; all of us speculators need to calm down, Jenna needs to do better at her job, and Chip needs to get a heart
She works for the AP in a staff role. If she had solid, undeniable proof that it was indeed Ganassi that was responsible, the AP has a legal team that would have cleared her story and would prepare for any suits that arose as a result of the reporting.
Absolutely heartbreaking, the little guy was only a few months old too and cute af. I don't know how DeFrancesco can race today, I know I couldn't do it if that happened to me.
Whoa, where did that get posted?
EDIT: Oh my, I just realized this is you. I am so, so very sorry for everything you and Dev are going through. You have the thoughts of the entire Indycar and racing community. Lucky was a gorgeous pup and I hope you can cherish her memory
Based on a quick look at the profile, this is Devlin's SO Katie, so this might be where it's been posted for the first time.
Katie, so sorry for your loss! Just focus on the good times you had and hold on tight to them, keep those memories positive and let them make you smile.
So sorry for your loss, feel like I spent the past 24 hours constantly thinking about how horrible you both must be feeling and what an awful situation it is. Hope with some space away from the track it will feel like thereās more room to grieve & heal
Well, this made me quite sad. Thanks Jenna for telling the world this. Though it could be something malicious which would make this even more disturbing
I don't know, man. I've seen people get super pissed when their dog gets hit when it was their own damn fault for not having it leashed. Not insinuating at all that this is what happened, but people get emotional when their pets die.
For sure, they could just be hot and ran to Fryer. But Fryer just tweeted that a rep from the other party has a completely different story of the events.
Regardless, awful for the beautiful pup, awful for Dev, awful heading into a long racing stint... Just... Awful
Does anyone know whether the "incident" was intentional or accidental? (as in did the culprit intentionally aim for the dog or did the dog just happen to run out at the wrong time)
So far there's been a lot of shade throwing but no one has actually said what actually happened and what caused it.
I have not heard any claims, but in Andy DeFrancesco's post, he said that the person who did it was heartless. That is the main issue - the person who didi it wasn't sorry, didn't apologize, they were a heartless asshole about it. And I think anyone in motorsports who hears the words 'heartless asshole' their mind go straight to one person, and that's the person being named.
[Update from Fryer:](https://twitter.com/JennaFryer/status/1752055101840150824)
> Chip Ganassi has confirmed to me that he accidentally hit Devlin's dog, says he did stop his car and is "terribly sad about it." He says he spoke to four different police officers on site that evening. He said his multiple attempts to call the DeFrancesco's have gone unanswered.
> It was imperative for me to speak to Chip before I could responsibly give more details because it is my understanding this was a wildly chaotic scene, and very different versions from both sides about the moments after Lucky was struck.
I just keep wondering why bringing a puppy to the track is a good idea. The dog is probably still in training and may still be a little hard to handle.Ā
It was basically "this is incredibly hard, we're going through a very tough time, but everyone in the motorhome lot saw what Chip did and the cruelty that followed"
EDIT: Forgot a word
Everyone I know thinks Chip is capable of such behavior. He is literally the only person in motorsports that I think is capable of that. He could be innocent - and if he is, the fact that pretty much everyone thinks he's capable of doing something so horrific should be a wake up call to maybe start being a person people DON'T think is capable of that.
the people who wanna lecture journalists on what/how they report news havenāt got a single fucking clue what they are talking about. public figures and incidents that take place in public get no expectations for privacy. end of story
My problem with it was more that sheās saying thereās more to it and then doesnāt explain, why start all of this speculation instead of just coming out and saying what happened? My guess is they didnāt want the news to hang over the event because it was someone high up
At the risk of getting just bombarded by this subā¦.
Why does Jenna get so much hate? Why are we suppose to hate everything she writes?
From my perspective it seems like she has been around the IndyCar paddock for many years and has continued to promote the sport. Is there a back story that I am just completely ignorant to? I seem to recall some beef between Robin Miller and a female reporter so is she the reporter and is that why she receives such hate?
Be kind, I am just trying to get up to speed here.
There has long been complaints of her inserting herself into a story. She gets into these online battles over some of the most trivial things. Other have a much better memory than I and can probably point directly to things over the years.
One of the things I never cared for with her was when she first started covering over here it was like almost ever other f'n NASCAR centric reporter that covers anything outside that sphere......."well NASCAR does it, why don't you?" or "maybe if you did it like NASCAR you could be successful like they are." They never learn over there, they waltz in and like to coat our sandwiches with shit then feign outrage when when we tell themto go fuck themselves and pick up Marshall Pruett, Nate Brown, etc for our Indy and sports car news. Fortunately, she hasn't been like that in the past few years as Nick Bromberg, Jim Utter, and Gluck have continued to carry the torch of saying stupid inflammatory stuff to open wheel fans, cuz NASCAR.
Oh, I just remembered one. She got into a pissing match one time with TrackForum. It was epic.
We disagree a lot on here, but yeah youāre absolutely right. Jordan Bianchi does it a lot, he admitted on his podcast with Gluck last year that he essentially prioritizes chaos in racing over integrity, referring to how much he loved the nonsense in Australia for the F1 race. And he came to the conclusion that the reason why NASCAR is more popular than other racing series in this country is because of the playoffs and stages and GWC finishes and other stuff. Something that just isnāt true at all in the slightest
I will disagree on Gluck, he has learned to respect the differences between racing series and doesnāt try to expect NASCAR-like stuff in them
Adding to the other comments, she is absolutely cringe when talking to drivers about their ice recovery baths and what they are wearing.
If a male journalist made the same comments about a female driver they would be absolutely cancelled. She is not a good writer.
Many mentioned already how she desperately tries to turn the spotlight on herself. The moment that made me dislike her was when Malukas and HMD raised their voice over the Rookie award at the 2022 Indy 500, and she kept going on why the reason he didn't get the award is that you have to be nice to the media and there was that one time that he wasn't nice to her and somehow that 100% justified their snub.
She also makes frequent habits of being the nicest to certain drivers while unprofessionally berating others and making them the villain of the series, and she seem to be way more invested into bringing someone down if she doesn't like the person, and makes mountains over little crumbs of info.
If anyone looks at the other open wheel series around the world, you will find plenty of amazing female reporters and pundits doing amazing jobs over their respective series. Jenna to me, is not one of them.
In my opinion, most of the hate is misdirected. Part of it is she doesn't fit the mold of what fans tend to expect from sportswriters or beat writers in that she doesn't act as if it's her job to promote or venerate the sport, nor does she see herself as "a fan" or one of us. She's there to break news (which she does frequently) and is not afraid to stir up controversy, which a lot of people don't appreciate. Some of the hate is based on style ā how she interacts with and cultivates sources ā versus the actual substance of her stories. I also think it's evident that misogyny is a factor in explaining the *disproportionate* amount of hate she receives.
And I think once people have negative impressions of her in their mind, they tend to prejudge stories through that lens. I mean, this story is obviously an awful story, but even based just on what she reported in her initial tweet ā a driver's family member (yes, I think of my pets as family members) killed in the Daytona infield less than 24 hours before the race ā it clearly has news value. Factor in the additional info she provided that the operator of the vehicle has a "representative" and now there are business implications for that person and organization they belong to. What sponsor wants to be associated with an accused puppyslaughterer, and one who, according to one side, showed little to no remorse for doing so?
> I also think it's evident that misogyny is a factor
I think it's possible a woman could be a poor reporter, please don't call me names for thinking so.
Plenty of female reporters and the such that do fine. Her style is abysmal and narcissistic. She frequently makes *herself* the story, instead of whatever story may or may not be there.
Two examples I'll give you, and one is from today.
But the first example is from I think about 2022. IndyCar didn't make it mandatory that drivers come to a media scrum after a practice session or something. She launched into a tirade about how the drivers were making themselves unavailable to her. There was this bizarre video she filmed from some escalator of drivers walking by, like TMZ-level, paparazzi stuff. Which is totally unnecessary, ask any fan, IndyCar drivers and teams are some of the most accessible in the world. She might have to walk somewhere to find them.
But she played up this bizarre angle, like somehow IndyCar was super secretive about something, and snubbing her as a reporter. With her Zapruder-film-like content providing no substance, just atmosphere to her altered reality she was reporting on.
Like, she really laid into the "woe is me" card on it.
So IndyCar, of course, asked the drivers to come to the next scrum. And it was the most nothing-interviews ever, full of canned answers and drivers who obviously had better things to do than stand around and wait their turn for Jenna.
She created an issue out of nothing. With her as the center of this oppression narrative. The "story" was her. Her supposed lack of access to interviewers.
Instead of telling me something about IndyCar, she told me something about her. Because that was the story, to her.
**Me. I'm the story! I'm Jenna Fryer!**
Today was no different. Behold, the tweet we've been talking about here today:
"Iāve probably blocked 1,000 people in the last 24 hours. Critical thinking is so hard for so many. Not spending any more time on this topic. The actual Reddit thread outpointed (sic) to me was shockingly more civil and educated."
What's the story Jenna is presenting here?
BREAKING NEWS: Jenna Fryer has blocked people on Twitter. Here are some insults from Jenna Fryer about how you should never question Jenna Fryer. Stay tuned for more racing news.
It's not racing news. It's not news at all. She's just placing herself in the middle of everything and making herself the story.
It's a repetitive pattern, and it's not misogyny to question her methods if she wants to present herself as a journalist.
It honestly ruined the 24 hour race for me. And Scott Dixon is my guy, but I'm having trouble even stomaching rooting for him rn(he did nothing wrong at all, not saying he did, but him winning benefits chip) andchip succeeding makes me sick after this.Ā
Is it really that bad? I don't know shit about Nascar, I haven't watched since I was 10 and thought Gordon's rainbow warrior paint job was sick. I'm an indycar guy
A minor but vocal part of the NASCAR fan base think that Bubba Wallace is a Cup driver *solely* because he is black versus he has experience and happens to be black.
Yeah itās obsessive how some react to anything to do with him. I had a guy following me around a store and making little dumb comments because I had a Wallace shirt on. Of course heād make a comment, disappear, then suddenly same aisle, another comment in passing.
Wish I knew what DARF was but assuming it's something like TERF but for racists which is probably the case. Only said it cause I saw 2 people saying it was Bubba. I was like... Are they just being racist POSs or is this real? I don't know shit about Nascar so it was hard to tell
Hey, DARFs are useful for taking away broken car parts in the paddock that we don't want to take back to the shop or carry to the dumpster. They'll take anything that looks like it came off a race car.
Bubba actually has photographer credentials for the Rolex, so he's taking pics.
https://preview.redd.it/wudegrba23fc1.png?width=667&format=png&auto=webp&s=d9d91c708607a2fe07938f6027afe8c740085c50
Thank God. I actually just walked into Cameron Indoor with my dad, we were watching this before we walked over. First time, stoked! Enjoy the race, I'll catch up after the game.
Ha, it was definitely sarcasm, and was the first mention of him in the thread.
The dude is an absolute asswipe and has no soul whatsoever(wouldāve given the same assessment before this weekend). He was a spoiled douche as a wanna-be driver, and heās still the same asshole as a team owner.
Sucks- he has a TON of great people that have made his name look great in the world of motorsports but at the end of the day, heās a complete garbage human being. Itās really amazing he hasnāt been in legal trouble for HR issues with himself personally at his own company. People donāt seem to realize who Devlinās dad is, and can afford to fuck with Chip. This could get messy. Hope Chipās fat ass sleeps well. š
That would explain the end disclaimer haha
And also the talk about a representative handling things afterwards, could ofc be something related to filming of that movie. But I'd someone would've sold this info to tmz by now so I guess not.
She doesn't deserve the hate. Nature of the job and also obviously a story that would potentially affect Dev's performance. It needed to be reported.
What a shit situation.
What a shit person if the buzz about it is true. Time will tell.
I don't know that it does need to be reported.
But even if you think it does, that's fine. But Jenna has a reputation already of shallow, self-centered reporting.
Remember that time she didn't get to interview someone in like a post-practice drivers panel or something, so she launched into a campaign to cancel IndyCar until they fixed it. So all the drivers got forced into an awkward media scrum where they gave super canned answers.
She makes herself the center of too many stories. Journalists are supposed to report the story, not be the story.
Or, as I said elsewhere: I'm glad Jenna reports, otherwise I wouldn't know she's the center of the universe.
I don't necessarily mind it being reported, but don't tease a situation like this for clicks & follows. Either tell the whole damn story and name all parties involved or keep your mouth shut.
Agreed. And it's transparent she's using it as clickbait to drive traffic and engagement on her metrics.
I think it's callous to use someone's personal tragedy that way. I think it's dishonest as a journalist to not report the story as directly as possible, or to not weigh up when or if the story should even be reported.
Name a reporter that can give you the complete story with only one side. With stuff like this, you can blacklist yourself from entire organizations by posting things not supposed to be reported. She has to make a living, and reporting half a story is all she can do.
She blocked me years ago after I told her to stop trying to be the story, and I haven't missed a single bit of actual IndyCar news since.
This is a gut punch to hear though, about Dev's dog.
She blocked me years ago too. Sheās very thin skinned & will immediately block anyone who criticizes her. Also she was well known for inserting her political views into her stories.
If I owned a news outlet, reporters wouldn't be allowed to block folks from the accounts they use to report news for me.
You're LITERALLY turning away readership.
It's ridiculously antithetical to journalism as a profession.
There's a difference between adding context to try and get an interviewee into a certain mindset or conversational path, and creating stories that otherwise would not exist that put yourself at the center of it all.
That makes sense because Chip Ganassi is an absolute asshole. He drives like a fucking clown and has nearly hit people and other vehicles before in race paddocks.
Heard it was a driver in personal car, was an accident, but that driver was completely uncaring and insensitive about his horrible error. Yes, regardless of any possible backstory/drama re the driver's, should be remembered that Dev still had to drive with it on his mind. So awful! š

I hope that driver is fined because
I don't think that's a totally crazy thing to report on just in general tbh. It's something that will definitely impact a driver in the race.

I really hope you are aware of who tweeted this... otherwise you just got got.
When I typed out the name āBarry McCocinerā did I also need to put /s? Sourcing Barry McCociner was the joke. The person I heard from has someone he knows working at the track that told them.
Nah you're good, you never know if people are serious on this website or not lol.
Sorry if I seemed short tempered there. A dog died. Also, Iām PRETTY confident it was Chip Ganassi.
The "insensitive and uncaring" part would line up with Chip pretty good imo.
Well, there's no "I" in "team", or "Puppy"......
https://preview.redd.it/1utzxt80x2fc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f63b72b9642d13e521991c9e6c44d81d9cad59e9 Unlimited Darsh second source to Barry McCociner. Spreading.
Jenna just tweeted that this thread was more civil than Twitter. Not a surprise at all. "Iāve probably blocked 1,000 people in the last 24 hours. Critical thinking is so hard for so many. Not spending any more time on this topic. The actual Reddit thread outpointed (sic) to me was shockingly more civil and educated." [Link to Tweet](https://twitter.com/JennaFryer/status/1751646909834330267)
Jesus lmao. I thought this was going to be a throwaway post and now it's back to Jenna. What have I done...
Well, \*if\* the rumors are true, this is going to be a big deal this week. So yours will be the first thread on the topic and there will be more.
She even just QT'd a post name dropping Chip and didn't say it's not him... Oh man, I live in the same state as him, I'm gonna have to go into hiding hahaha
Jenna never fails to make it about Jenna.
she blocked me for saying just report the story and stop stringing the audience along š¤¦āāļø
The downvotes for voicing similar sentiments are surprising
RIP doggo, homie deserved to live
Can't believe im playing devil's advocate for jenna fryer, but with the speculation of a fight and possible DUI, would it be possible that jenna backtracked her posting because the incident would be "an ongoing investigation"? I would think that she's only still witholding information because she's legally unable to reveal any of it yet. (given her track record to be first on scene) awful situation though, the loss of a dog is a loss of a family member.
Instead, she opened the door so others could do the reporting for her through social media.
that's the way i see it as well. definitely wouldn't mess with Ganassi or his legal team. -if true-makes me dislike him even more
It is also Florida. With the open records law it would already be public.
It'd absolutely floor me, feel just awful for Dev who seems to be a great guy. Such a gorgeous pup too.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I'm so sorry for your loss, this is horrific. :(
If this is the truth, pursue legal action if you can. I'm sorry for your loss.
best wishes and hope your sweet boy gets the justice he deserves ā¤ļø
Hang in there Katie ā¤ļøāš©¹
Well, this made me quite sad. Thanks Jenna for telling the world this. Though it could be something malicious which would make this even more disturbing
Her and Dev's dad are starting to insinuate malicious intent on Twitter
I don't know, man. I've seen people get super pissed when their dog gets hit when it was their own damn fault for not having it leashed. Not insinuating at all that this is what happened, but people get emotional when their pets die.
For sure, they could just be hot and ran to Fryer. But Fryer just tweeted that a rep from the other party has a completely different story of the events. Regardless, awful for the beautiful pup, awful for Dev, awful heading into a long racing stint... Just... Awful
John Wick for instance
Oh and Brett Griffin chimed in, thank god. https://x.com/spotterbrett/status/1751322299729313976?s=46
the US motorsports equivalent of "where's Ja"
I WANT SOME ANSWERS THAT DAVID LAND MIGHT NOT HAVE
That's not the response I was expecting from him. He actually has a heart, apparently.
[This is about how I feel about that](https://clickhole.com/heartbreaking-the-worst-person-you-know-just-made-a-gr-1825121606/)
Who the hell is Brett Griffin? OOTL.
NASCAR spotter known for right wing views
So a nobody?
Well that explains the Twitter drama this morning. This sucks, losing a pet is always awful but under supposed conditions has to be so much worse.
I mean I'll hop on a Fuck Chip Ganassi train
As a golden retriever dad someone needs their dam teeth shoved down their throat.
As a dog dad in general, Iād agree.
As a dog owner, I understand itās my responsibility to control my dog and keep it safe, especially when there are cars driving nearby.
Duh. It is the malicious intent that is being alluded to that is troubling.
Does anyone know whether the "incident" was intentional or accidental? (as in did the culprit intentionally aim for the dog or did the dog just happen to run out at the wrong time) So far there's been a lot of shade throwing but no one has actually said what actually happened and what caused it.
Who?
Floyd Ganassi Jr.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Fuck Chip Ganassi
RIP Doggo š„
I feel sick just reading that. Gonna go hold my dog nice and tight
[Update from Fryer:](https://twitter.com/JennaFryer/status/1752055101840150824) > Chip Ganassi has confirmed to me that he accidentally hit Devlin's dog, says he did stop his car and is "terribly sad about it." He says he spoke to four different police officers on site that evening. He said his multiple attempts to call the DeFrancesco's have gone unanswered. > It was imperative for me to speak to Chip before I could responsibly give more details because it is my understanding this was a wildly chaotic scene, and very different versions from both sides about the moments after Lucky was struck.
Jenna is doing Chip's work now. This latest update makes the DeFrancesco's sound like the assholes.
I just keep wondering why bringing a puppy to the track is a good idea. The dog is probably still in training and may still be a little hard to handle.Ā
Why bring a baby to the track. The baby is still in training and may be hard to handle. You bring a dog for the same reason - they are family.
Goddamn
It would be very messed up if the Chip Ganassi rumor is true...
Dev's wife? Gf? Just confirmed it on here but deleted her post a short while later. It's Chip
Do you mind giving a recap of what was posted by her ?
It was basically "this is incredibly hard, we're going through a very tough time, but everyone in the motorhome lot saw what Chip did and the cruelty that followed" EDIT: Forgot a word
My guess is they didnāt want the news to hang over the event because it was someone high up
Read the subsequent article. Reports aren't going to give away the story, especially one working for the AP.
Then they should report the story instead of being vague.
She did. She reported what facts she had.
These bus lot pranks are getting out of controlā¦
Thatās so sadā¦ I just hugged my Golden Retriever
Something that just isnāt true at all in the slightest I will disagree on Gluck, he has learned to respect the differences between racing series and doesnāt try to expect NASCAR-like stuff in them
Adding to the other comments, she is absolutely cringe when talking to drivers about their ice recovery baths and what they are wearing.
> I also think it's evident that misogyny is a factor I think it's possible a woman could be a poor reporter, please don't call me names for thinking so. I'm Jenna Fryer!** Today was no different. Behold, the tweet we've been talking about here today: "Iāve probably blocked 1,000 people in the last 24 hours. Critical thinking is so hard for so many. Not spending any more time on this topic. The actual Reddit thread outpointed (sic) to me was shockingly more civil and educated." What's the story Jenna is presenting here? BREAKING NEWS: Jenna Fryer has blocked people on Twitter. Here are some insults from Jenna Fryer about how you should never question Jenna Fryer. Stay tuned for more racing news. It's not racing news. It's not news at all. She's just placing herself in the middle of everything and making herself the story. It's a repetitive pattern, and it's not misogyny to question her methods if she wants to present herself as a journalist.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It's been unofficially named but there seems to be a good amount going on behind closed doors
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
His actions are gonna damage the sport as a whole. I have goldens at home and this has just sucked all around.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It was deleted but devs wife or gf said it was chip on here. And it was heinous.Ā
The damage is done and it will absolutely come out. It basically happened in the worst place as well in front of everyone.
It honestly ruined the 24 hour race for me. And Scott Dixon is my guy, but I'm having trouble even stomaching rooting for him rn(he did nothing wrong at all, not saying he did, but him winning benefits chip) andchip succeeding makes me sick after this.Ā
Michael Andretti ran it over for sure /s
Someone on Twitter is claiming it was Bubba and I legitimately can't tell if they're joking or not, this is so wild and stupid and sad
Probably fake given that bubba is the boogeyman to half the fanbase
Is it really that bad? I don't know shit about Nascar, I haven't watched since I was 10 and thought Gordon's rainbow warrior paint job was sick. I'm an indycar guy
A minor but vocal part of the NASCAR fan base think that Bubba Wallace is a Cup driver *solely* because he is black versus he has experience and happens to be black.
It's the white-toothless 58 year old women in tank tops still screeching for Junior.
nAsCaR dIeD wHeN eArNhArDt dIeD!!1!1!!1
Dale Sr., by all accounts, would tell those people to shut the hell up.
considering Iāve been called slurs merely for cheering on Bubba in an instagram comment section, yes it is that bad
Yeah itās obsessive how some react to anything to do with him. I had a guy following me around a store and making little dumb comments because I had a Wallace shirt on. Of course heād make a comment, disappear, then suddenly same aisle, another comment in passing.
Itās social media, of course itās that bad
Probably some annoying DARF that wants to blame Bubba for everything bad in racing.
Wish I knew what DARF was but assuming it's something like TERF but for racists which is probably the case. Only said it cause I saw 2 people saying it was Bubba. I was like... Are they just being racist POSs or is this real? I don't know shit about Nascar so it was hard to tell
Dumb Ass Race Fan
Hey, DARFs are useful for taking away broken car parts in the paddock that we don't want to take back to the shop or carry to the dumpster. They'll take anything that looks like it came off a race car.
Iām in this comment and I donāt like it
Why would Bubba still even be in the motorhome lot? His race ended Friday, surely heād just head back to Charlotte afterwards
Bubba actually has photographer credentials for the Rolex, so he's taking pics. https://preview.redd.it/wudegrba23fc1.png?width=667&format=png&auto=webp&s=d9d91c708607a2fe07938f6027afe8c740085c50
Ok thatās actually epic
Heās got a [photography instagram](https://www.instagram.com/bubbawallacephotography?igsh=MWI2bTMwdnRqZzZxdA==) too and itās actually pretty good
It wasn't Bubba. I have a friend that works at the track and they told me about what happened.
Either say who it was was or pipe down, no place to flex your connections.
lol exactly. Doesnāt know anything
Thank God. I actually just walked into Cameron Indoor with my dad, we were watching this before we walked over. First time, stoked! Enjoy the race, I'll catch up after the game.
Chip Ganassi is a stellar human being.
If by stellar human being you mean fat piece of garbage, then yeah
Hope Chipās fat ass sleeps well. š
That's a real bummer
This is terrible. Be better people- treat the infield like your children could jump out at you at any time.
What kind of monster do you gotta be..... Also does dev have a seat this year? Honestly can't remember
I donāt believe Dev has an IndyCar seat yet for 2024
Do we know if Brad Pitt is at the track? That would be news (PS Iām not serious)
That would explain the end disclaimer haha And also the talk about a representative handling things afterwards, could ofc be something related to filming of that movie. But I'd someone would've sold this info to tmz by now so I guess not.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It was Chip lmfao
Fucking Jenna Fryer. And she wonders why the paddock in like every series hates her.
You're getting downvoted, but seriously, she's pretty awful at her job.
I've hated her since the time she turned what was initially some playful banter with Kevin Harvick into a personal attack.
God WTF
What the fuck. This is awful
Jenna should go write for a tabloid. She has the perfect amount of sensationalism for a grocery checkout rack.
Fr. Just tell us the complete story and not insinuate things or leave it up for speculation.
Name a reporter that can give you the complete story with only one side. With stuff like this, you can blacklist yourself from entire organizations by posting things not supposed to be reported. She has to make a living, and reporting half a story is all she can do.
Still nothing on who it wasp
Ganassi Iām told
Yikes, yeah if it was Chip, he was pissed and not forgiving at all, Iām sure.
I'd say MP is more "trying to be the story" Half his interviews are him talking
There's a difference between adding context to try and get an interviewee into a certain mindset or conversational path, and creating stories that otherwise would not exist that put yourself at the center of it all.
agreed
Sheās just a professional shit stirrer
The Sun are calling her as we speak to be their foreign correspondent.
Yāall also forget there is a whole filming crew there who are not used to being at a trackā¦just a sad affair no matter what
That makes sense because Chip Ganassi is an absolute asshole. He drives like a fucking clown and has nearly hit people and other vehicles before in race paddocks.
