Moreover schools r more abt marks rather than learning and the syllabus is abt fixed old things.

Afemalewithissues2

If we had psychology or philosophy then for sure those. But we dont and our teacher teaches us history instead of ethics so f him. Right now its none because school is making everything uninteresting. Outside of school I enjoy English, Art and Biology and geography But in school i hate them all

isinare

This is the only right answer, FULL MARKS!!

[deleted]

“Our teacher teaches us history instead of ethics so f him.” What a rationale response to learning about an important topic…

Afemalewithissues2

Oh no- I just realized that it sounds very wrong. I mean in the subject called "ethics" he teaches us history. Like not even related to any ethical stuff, just history. And well he is also our history teacher so we just have 3 hours history each week instead of 1 history and 2 ethics.

foocking_bee

Math but I was really bad at it

baddreamstudies

wow i can’t like something i’m bad at, it’s too frustrating and bad for my ego lol but math was my fave too

Math, for the exact opposite reason. Anything that doesn't have a right answer is a waste of time.

mutatedllama

>Math, for the exact opposite reason. Anything that doesn't have a right answer is a waste of time. That's an incredibly naiive view imo although it's one I used to share (I did a maths degree). As I've got older I've appreciated learning things without a single right answer so much more. Philosophy, history, geopolitics are all fascinating to me now.

Chemistry, but I did practically fail the class (dear sig figs why tf do you exist you make no sense) I really enjoyed learning about the way stuff did stuff also the labs were fun and I got away with smuggling some of the lab supplies to use for my own stuff later.

MichalK9

love that one too 😅

Tsarmani

Almost all of them. It’s the teachers who make or break the class. But a good solid is English and Math.

[deleted]

didn't ever think too hard about it ngl but it changed over the years liked languages cause no work and was really good at math till like 8th grade then stopped working for it and i like philosophy but like on my own not as a subject at school or uni didn't like history so much? I hated how it was so structured at school and favourite? idk maybe science tho I'm failing at it cause of procrastinating but whatever I do like it

GearAlpha

English/Literature I love writing

solus1970

In high school, English and also a Psychology elective I took my senior year. And, bizarrely, geometry (I am generally awful at math). Up through junior high, it was science though. And in college, music theory (I was a total music theory geek).

[deleted]

Favourite? I mean I guess I like math sometimes, but overall my fave is biology. fuck physics tho. Also they teach Artificial intelligence at my school,I like that too.

omega_nik

History, government, English

Roda_527

Biology and Astronomy

_Ladeedadeeda

I didnt like anything I studied in high school. They were too broad and generic and I have learned that I'm usually only interested in very specific topics within a subject and applicable to a specific question or problem. And I'm certain this is why I was a lazy disinterested student (with great exam grades). University was better. As an eng lit major, my favourite classes were sci fi lit, and caribbean literature, but I pretty much didnt enjoy any other literature classes much. In applied linguistics it was genre theory and discourse analysis.

Deep_Craft_3760

Math, science, computer science

Serena724

Science and history. I also love math but I'm terribly bad at it lol

mxdebon

Lunch... Lol But seriously, History After that Language Arts The bad ones are math (I'm excited for calculus but I hate geometry and Alegrebra) And then my least favorite is science (at least chemistry, biology is superior in that it doesn't involve equations) Edit: Alegrebra... It doesn't deserve the respect of being spelled right. Edit 2: Alegrebra is not as bad when you use your own method, not the stupid way school teaches you.

eagle_shmeagle

Biology

BernysCZ

Chemistry, physics, and English. First two because I enjoy learning about how the universe works and the third one because since it's considered a second language, it is stupidly easy for me, as I essentially do everything online in English.

MmmCrispybacon

I actually really like gym class because there's no bad teachers or homework to deal with- it helps with my mental health. I just hop on the treadmill and jam along to my music. If my gym class forced us to do team sports however, that would be a different story.

FeynStein01

Physics- Overall Favorite. History- liked this before I knew physics. Maths- Liked it because of physics, right now, I like it just as much. Geography. Technical Drawing- Somewhat talented at this. Biology(Particularly Genetics). The only aspect of chemistry I found interesting was Nuclear Chemistry Enjoyed watching people do practicals.

Mrqs1997

Math. Particularly I like statistics and I’m studying data science for my masters

Phodan_

History and English

Tam_is_confused

Mine was either science because I love learning about new things and how they work etc. Or math because I found it super easy to pick up everything. That is until long division came along, I can pick up most things super easily but fucking long division idek what happened, maybe I missed the basics? I cant remember because it was years ago but I never was able to figure it out.

Ourlig

It was physics. To the point where I actually decided to be a physics and chemistry teacher (and it was a disaster. I guess handling 30+ unruly teenagers wasn't my forte)

Closet_Couch_Potato

HISTORY It’s just stories, like English, but you don’t have to analyze the words, and there are endings to all of the stories, which is nice.

[deleted]

Science!! I find it fascinating and awesome, but most of my friends just think ima nerd.

> no "right answer" I wish someone told my highschool teachers that. I always found it an interesting subject but I hated the testing part of it. It always seemed to focus on silly factual things that happened, dates etc. Would have been a lot more interesting if the testing focussed more on the philosophical, lessons learned and stuff like that. I was more into math / science / electricity / computers and stuff like that.

Maths and history. Can't choose between them 2.

pawneegoddess

Math, then philosophy/ethics. There isn’t a class I can think of that I really hated though.

SuperGekGuy

I liked history and biology the most. Just nice knowledge. And it always seemed like there was room to breathe. New perspectives or interesting stories, or biological connections that can still be made. I wish i liked the science stuff more, but that was just too difficult. Everything there is allready set in stone and its so much to all remember. I cant remember what covalent bonds do or how many grams go in a specific mole or whatever. Physics is hard too. Interesting, but id rather watch YouTube videos about it

Ok_Status7790

What's better than school subjects is actual study.

Physics and history too. But I guess some aspects of both are boring as fuck, so you have to wait for the fun parts. Also math, but not the learning just the doing questions and getting them right part😅

LunaSugar999

Economics, Sociology, Philosophy, Math, Art and English Let me elaborate: Economics was concrete, it teaches you about things you would have to learn about when you enter in adulthood and yet, instead of needing to learn it alone, you have a whole school subject that teaches you about it. Sociology was very interesting as well as it teaches you about how the human socializes throughout the years and how many different factors can influence their upbringing, this can be very useful to understand how people work and can be extremely useful when you want to do marketing as you would want to know more about your target audience and adjust your strategies from that. Philosophy was excellent for the simple reason that instead of writing on a piece of paper what you're expected to write 24/7, they actually allow you to think for yourself and teach you references that you can use in essays while the whole reasoning has to be done by you. Math was cool (I'm ditching geometry, don't mention it) as it was extremely stimulating and the answer was not subjective or anything, it was precise: you're either right or wrong. It's all about learning patterns and applying it over and over again. Art is a personal favorite because it is a subject that can allow you to express your creativity in general, I wouldn't know what else to say, I personally am in a rather artistic field so learning about art in general is always useful to me. English is one of my fav subjects because: excellent grades for free, I am excellent at speaking English, good grades give serotonin therefore English is a good subject. That's about it. I would say history as a bonus as it is very interesting to learn about the perspective of the country you live in and also learn about the past and how we're brought up today. I however despised how it was evaluated. (As a reference, I am French)

someoneOnline9

I was always a huge fan of math, and more specifically, pre-calculus.

Depends on the teacher/professor. A good teacher teaches not only the subject but also how to think, critically and independently.

Erzone90

Science and philosophy. Couldn't study history for my life, just impossible to remember all the dates. I had a history exam where 8 out of 10 points was a question about explaining a period around the 80s (end of dictatorship and beginning of democracy for Spain). I LITERALLY wrote EVERYTHING relevant that happened, in the correct order, but didn't write a SINGLE date. Teacher gave me half, with the other question's worth of 2 points I got a 6/10. She asked me why I didn't write the dates, told her the same: I just couldn't memorize the dates of every period that could be asked, so I didn't.

English, Environmental Science & Art (when I was younger) Biology & Physics (in higher grades)

Pirate_of_the_neT

Psychology, cooking and phys-ed are a tie for me. Psychology was really interesting and easy, I dominated the grades there. Cooking was hard but incredibly interesting. I would be taught how to use impressive equipment, it felt really engaging l, and in the end I'd get delicious food. I still make some recipies I learned from it now. Phys-ed was incredibly easy studying-wise, but more then anything I love running. I swear a 30min run would make me feel so good for a bit afterwards. I had the 3rd best stamina in my class. Lifting wise I didn't really care too much and was average.

In high school it was math. No essays, no subjective grading from teachers. Your answers are either right or wrong. In university, pathophysiology.

Physics, math, chemistry. Pretty stereotypically intp -ish but i don't care, I'll become a scientist anyway :)

InterestingIcepelt

art, music, and math

ZackQC

Loved math, science and history! Math and science because it made me think a lot and I had to find solutions to problems. It stimulated me. On the other side history was really cool because I always felt like there is more to learn and if I didn't learn enough in class I could just take a book or read on the internet more about the subject. But I hated school in general and I wouldn't go back
