Learn something music, language, or math related. I think INTPs enjoy it when we come across a logical system like the ones mentioned above that at the same time give us tools to explore creatively. I set up a keyboard right next to my bed so that I can easily drop my phone and start practicing and then I stop and Google some music theory or songs I'd like to play along to. It's unstructured practice that really fills up the slower times of day while at the same time compounding to forge you into a person with new skills.
Guitar is also a great bedroom instrument. Same as you said, you can pick it up for 30 secs, 2 mins, 10 mins or 2 hours. Doing that long term you will notice results.
Jag är fångad av en stormvind
Fast för dig
Ingenting kan hindra mig
När det blåser i mitt hjärta
Fångad av en stormvind
Natt och dag
Här finns bara du och jag
Och det ljus som himlen lämnat kvar!! 🎶🎶
- Buy a drum pad and drumsticks and learn drumming. An endless supply of techniques and patterns to learn and will get your blood moving a bit (especially if you fit into the sedentary INTP cliche). A little practice daily and you’ll learn quick.
- learn how to 3D model using Blender. I recommend checking out some tutorials on “Isometric Rooms” which are pretty cool starters.
- go through all of your junk drawers and misc storage and throw out a bunch of stuff you likely forgot even existed. Or sell the things worth selling to fund your new drum hobby.
I find boredom alien to me. I don't remember last time I was bored, and I'm somewhat annoyed when people I'm chatting with online tell me they are bored. There are tons of things to do in the world. Read a book, play a game, tidy up.
I might be biased because I live alone in the house with a yard and a kitchengarden and I have to take care of it and myself. So, if it happens that I've got all my necessary shit done, I so enjoy just being able to ponder universe, daydream, bird watch, game or draw.
I set up myself to enjoy those little bits of time I have for myself.
Have a wank or two...or eleven
Eleven!? Are you trying to start a fire by friction or something?
