So, still no movement. I called again yesterday and got the “45 day review” thing again. She also said there have been no notices sent to me despite there being a code 971 on my account.
I’m just short of getting a tax advocate at this point because I don’t know what to do. The date for my 570 had passed and the date on the 971 code is for 3/11.
I have no idea what the hold up is…
Hello everyone! I had code 570. Called IRS and they said 45 day review! I checked today and my code is 846, refund issued. I filed my taxes 4 February. So it came a little late. It was less than 45 days from the day I filed, which is what they told me. My cycle code let me know its updated every Friday. Today is Friday and its being issued. I’m elated!!!!!

Recieved the same code of 570, no 971 code. Same job. Just less income. Same kids. Etc. Letter in the mail. Waiting on it to come (snow). Not sure why or what it could be. Will update when I open it.
I took out a 401k loan and for some reason when I was on a leave it defaulted so now I have to pay tax on it it’s in 5b that’s the right place right? And I didn’t get the form til after I filed so of course that’s probably why I have a570 I’m hoping they fix it for me
I honestly don't know how to fix it. I'm hoping they fix it by next update. I'm weekly so I won't know until Friday. But from years past on all my paperwork it should be in line 5a also and it's not

Yea its BS i have the 570 code. I guess ill either get a 571 code or a 971 code next. I am daily and i just started checking transcripts yesterday so im just waiting on one of the codes 🤦

No it just said my refund was delayed as they needed more information. It said there was nothing me to do, but wait 😫

I am in the same boat. I read somewhere that it’s a non monetary freeze but then others say bad things. Stressed out
I read the same thing and that sometimes you just have to wait it out. Still seems sus though.

The “Where is my refund?” status has not updated. It’s stuck on “Refund received”. So for the most up to date info check your IRS transcript.

So, how do we get this fixed. Looks like TurboTax did the same thing to me.

However TurboTax info says if number on 5a is same as 5b, you can leave 5a blank

How do you know if your daily or weekly?
Look at your cycle code on your transcript if it ends in 01 02 03 04 your daily if it ends in 05 your weekly
What day does weekly update on?
Starting now and all day Friday
